"This is a new hotel conveniently located near the highway. Everything about it is great, from the spacious rooms to the brand-new facilities. The hot water shower was fantastic. The breakfast selection was decent; I especially liked the Western-style salad, bread, and yogurt. The freshly ground coffee definitely deserves a high rating; they said it was Yunnan beans, and it was the best I've had from a hotel coffee grinder in Yunnan. They even offered mung bean soup as a late-night snack. Both the washing machines and dryers were very clean. There's plenty of parking, both above ground and in the basement. Although it's a bit far from the old city center, Yuanmou isn't that big, and it's only about 3 kilometers to the only KFC (next to the night market), so getting around by car is very convenient. The only downside is the lack of walkable dining options nearby, but ordering takeout or having the hotel robot deliver food perfectly solves that problem."

"The hotel is relatively new and very clean. The owner even gave me a free room upgrade at a reasonable price, so I extended my stay for another day. The bath towels and hand towels were especially nice, as they were all sealed in plastic bags. The hotel also has its own parking lot, making it very driver-friendly. The air conditioning is intelligently controlled, with only vents, a rarity in budget hotels, and the cooling is powerful. A very good stay."

"I can't praise the hotel enough. From the outset the receptionists were considerate, helpful and respectful. The manageress organised a trip to the Langbapu Earth Forest. Unfortunately I was too tired ( after 12 hotel changes and 6 to come ) in my six week trip to China to accept her kind offer of a room upgrade. Seemingly aware of my allergies a hot pot was brought to me, the next day a fruit bowl. The kitchen made an amazing salad. The hotel creates spaciousness in all locations. Thank for providing the taxi to the railway station. But most of all thank you for your support during my stay."

"I arrived at Yuanmou at 17:00 on the 21st.
I booked a train to Kunming for 18:00 on the 22nd, and I stayed at this accommodation for a tour of tulin(earth forest) on the 22nd.
The hotel is very clean and excellent for the price. It's next to the main road, but there's no noise when you close the door.
It is a 12-minute walk from Yuanmou west station. Alternatively, you can take bus number 1 in front of the station and get off at the bus stop in front of the hotel. The fare is 3 yuan.
In the morning, breakfast carts across the street sell porridge, dumpling, Jidanbing from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
I saw that the restaurant right next to the hotel also opened at 7 a.m
You can get to the bus terminal in the city for about 13 yuan by taxi, or you can take bus number 1 from the bus stop in front of the hotel.
There is a big traditional market near the bus terminal. Fruits are very cheap.
The market people and the taxi drivers were all nice
However, I don't think there are many foreigners visiting this area. There were many places where I couldn't use Alipay.
If you are a foreigner, prepare cash for stores that do not use Alipay.
And foreigners who were not fluent in Chinese felt it was too difficult to know the existence or running time of the bus connecting Wumao Tulin and Yuanmou.
I visited the bus terminal on the afternoon of the 21st and asked the male employee there what time the bus to Wumao Tulin was.
But he ignored the questions we asked, and even if we showed him a Chinese sentence, he ignored them.
Fortunately, a kind lady who was passing by helped us, so we got information that there was a 9:20 departure bus, but we didn't get information about the bus time from Wumao Tulin to Yuanmou before she left.
We gave up our Tulin trip, canceled the train ticket we booked, and went back to Kunming early in the morning on the 22nd.
If you are sightseeing by taxi, visit this area right away. Use one of the taxis in line in front of the high-speed rail station.
If you are a foreign tourist who plans to use the bus like us, please visit this area after getting the information in advance so as not to waste it."

"In Trip.com I saw a newly opened hotel this year 🏨. The room occupancy rate is very good. I booked a small room. The room is small, but the room is very clean and the facilities are intelligent. The wife is very enthusiastic ❤, help introduce the place to be good and eat fun. Although the hotel has no comments from too many guests, Chengdu in winter has moderate smog and bad air these days. It is still a good choice!"

"Very nice facilities with a fantastic, well-stocked outdoor gym. Rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast was decent but could be improved by improving the quality of the bread and pastries. The area around the pool was well-landscaped and nice to sit in. Unfortunately, the pool was under construction so we didn’t get to use it. There’s not much around the hotel, so you have to drive a few kilometers to find good restaurants or their sister hotel that has the main hot spring. Luckily this hotel offers 40 yuan day passes to the other hot spring hotel 远达. I recommend it as a nice relaxing getaway from Kunming."

"1. The underground parking garage was dimly lit, and there were no clear signs for the elevator entrance. I had to get out of my car to find it, which was a hassle. They should really install an electronic signboard.
2. The shower water was difficult to regulate, and the toiletries felt a bit cheap.
3. The room's lighting controls were confusing and hard to figure out.
4. I came here specifically because the reviews mentioned a good breakfast, but I was a little disappointed. On the positive side: there were five hot dishes, two of which were meat dishes, which is good compared to similar hotels.
Now for the downsides: there were water stains on the plates, suggesting the sanitation wasn't up to par. The milk was surprisingly watery, and no yogurt was offered, which doesn't match the hotel's price point. The selection of Chinese staple foods was too limited, and the fruit options were few and inexpensive."

WalagulouI originally wanted to book Huazhu Club, but there's only one Ji Hotel in Yuanmou, which wasn't very cost-effective, so I chose this one instead. When I arrived, I found it was right next to Ji Hotel. It's newly opened, excellent value for money, the room is very spacious, the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, and it's equipped with a smart smart system. The window offers a mountain view, and the mattress is incredibly comfortable! There's a washing machine in the courtyard, plus free parking, making it extremely cost-effective. It's a ten-minute walk to Fengxiang Street, with tons of restaurants; the location is great.

SihaiyoushenvThe hotel is in a prime location, convenient for travel, newly renovated, and the room is clean, tidy, and comfortable. The amenities are complete, the air conditioning is powerful, the bedding is incredibly soft, and they even provide complimentary mung bean soup, which is a really thoughtful touch! The bathroom layout and furnishings are also very cozy. We were also particularly impressed by the handsome front desk staff, Xiao Huang, who absolutely blew us away! It's a perfect combination of good looks and service, and they even offer free shuttle service. Although our stay was short, we were absolutely delighted! Overall, this is a very cost-effective hotel!

I want to express my special gratitude to the owner and his family this time. I was driving with my child and elderly relatives when our car broke down at night. The owner came to help, taking me to find a jump-start shop and then searching for cables. It took them over two hours of back and forth. They even called a repair shop and roadside assistance. Later, they locked the car and parked it on the side of the road, then took us back to the guesthouse to rest. This morning, a tow truck came and took us out to discuss the repairs. After we got everything fixed, they took us to the scenic area and then picked us up this afternoon to take us to a repair shop in the county town. [bitter smile] We really met some kind people! A huge thank you to the owner and his family! 🙏

Cute room in a good location. The receptionist was super friendly and went above and beyond to help me with my laundry and several questions. She also allowed me to store my luggage until I left later on the check out day. I would absolutely recommend staying there.

Actually it is quite good, the downside is probably due to the desolation of the scenic area. The room is large, not very clean but it has been cleaned and tidied. There is mineral water, but no napkins. We are used to bringing our own towels. There is only one lady in the whole hotel, which is quite considerate. It cannot be compared with other hotels with the same room rate. Because it was deserted, we only had one restaurant. We said there was breakfast, but we went there before it opened and visited the scenic area on an empty stomach. We stayed there for sunrise, so we got up early.
