"Excellent! The room was spacious and clean, and the service was top-notch. The front desk, housekeeping, and security staff were all incredibly warm and attentive. Thumbs up! Parking was convenient, and it's just a ten-minute drive to the city center. The hotel hasn't been open long, so it's very clean and hygienic, and the breakfast spread is fantastic."

The hotel also upgraded from a double room to a suite for free, and the suite is much larger. The hotel's cave swimming pool is very photogenic, and only guests staying in the hotel can use it. The hotel also has a mirror restaurant where you can eat Western food, and guests staying in the hotel can get discounts for meals. There are also swings and hammocks suitable for taking pictures. The Western restaurant in the city is also very beautiful, with many glass balls and flowers hanging. The breakfast is in the form of a buffet, with sushi that is not available in ordinary restaurants. Overall, it is very suitable for vacation"

"Pros: As expected from a well-established hotel, the location is absolutely fantastic. Parking is convenient with plenty of outdoor spaces. Right across from the hotel is Nie'er Park, which has recently added some new children's play facilities, including a Ferris wheel. The kids had an amazing time there! It truly lives up to its reputation as the hometown of a famous musician, with people singing and laughing, and an overall musical atmosphere in the park.
Just through the park is Xiaomiao Street, which is very lively with all sorts of snacks on both sides. The hotel thoughtfully provided a list of recommended snacks, so you can just follow that to try them out. Beyond Xiaomiao Street is Nie'er's former residence, so this hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Our room directly overlooked the park, offering an excellent view.
Cons: It was too hot; the central air conditioning wasn't cooling. I couldn't fall asleep until 3 AM. Eventually, I had no choice but to open all the windows, but then the sounds of fireworks and firecrackers were very loud, and there was also a lot of noise from young people, so I didn't sleep well at all. The central air conditioning really needs to be debugged and improved as soon as possible."

"I genuinely think this hotel is great! The room was clean and tidy, spacious enough that it didn't feel cramped at all. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too hard, so I slept really soundly. The front desk staff, especially one of the ladies, had an amazing service attitude – warm, patient, and efficient. The hotel environment is quiet, and the soundproofing is good, so my rest wasn't disturbed at all at night. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The price was also very reasonable. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations. I had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend it to everyone!"

"Extremely satisfied. The front desk service was excellent. The room was spacious and bright, with no unpleasant odors. The soundproofing was superb. Even the pillows were thoughtfully provided, with two thicknesses. As someone with neck problems, I preferred the thinner pillow. The hotel is right across from the lakeside park. It's very close to Nie Er Music Square, about a 10-minute walk, and also convenient to Jiulongchi Park, a 15-minute walk to the bus stop. A taxi ride isn't far either. This will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Yuxi."

"It’s my first time coming to Yuxi and I chose a chain hotel randomly, but this Atour really did a good job. The tea given by the lady at the front desk when I checked in was very delicious. For those who don’t know about the surrounding area, the staff will patiently introduce the books in the lobby. You can also borrow and return books, and the lady at the front desk will also help. The first bowl of rice noodles we had when we arrived was for breakfast at the hotel."

"Decided to stay one night in Yuxi at the last minute. I saw a recommendation on Xiaohongshu that didn't seem like an ad, and since the price was right and it was close to Yuyuan, I booked it. It really exceeded my expectations!
First, the shuttle service is super convenient for travelers without a car. The room was new, clean, and fully smart. I especially liked the design of the bedside lamps. Breakfast had a great variety and was delicious, and the lunch buffet was also good. All the hotel staff were lovely and very gentle.
It's very close to Hongtashan and Yuyuan, and you can see plum blossoms this season. It's also easy to get to Yuxi Museum and Wenxingxiang. Across the street on Qinghua Street, there are ethnic lantern performances at night (not sure if it's daily), and they were amazing!"

KKeyizouleThis is a treasure homestay in Chengjiang! When you open the window, you can see the quiet lotus pond and Fuxian Lake not far away. The morning mist is shrouded, and the sunset glows red in the evening. Every frame is like a painting! The room is warm and exquisite, with simple style furniture and soft bedding. There is also a viewing balcony and a rooftop terrace. It is so comfortable to sit on a chair and drink tea while enjoying the scenery. The boss is warm and hospitable. He not only recommends restaurants and farmers' markets frequented by locals, but also helps recommend delicious supper. The rice noodles and blueberries for breakfast are full of characteristics and cost-effective.

If the location was not so remote from practically everything (except the industrial environment around it), the overall impression would have been much more powerful. But the location makes sense if you want to stay anywhere between the larger urban area of Yuxi and its southern suburban zones, where you may experience the popular lifestyle and annual summer festivities (such as Torch Festival) of Yu people and other Chinese national minorities inhabiting this region.

GGuest UserConveniently located with easy navigation, the hotel offers free parking. Nearby are farmers' markets, supermarkets, and hospitals, making it very convenient. The staff are very welcoming and helpful with luggage; there's an elevator. The room is clean and tidy, with warm and comfortable amenities. Notable details include a toilet seat cover, a hidden pull cord in the shower, and even conditioner. The bedding set is sandalwood scented, which I really liked. The slippers are color-coded, so two people won't wear the wrong ones, ensuring hygiene. The toothbrush and comb are of good quality, leaving no plastic residue in your mouth. Besides complimentary bottled water (which the owner provides free of charge when it's not enough, placed on a table near the elevator for self-service – so thoughtful!), there's also Yunnan small-grain coffee and Pu'er chrysanthemum tea. The cups have disposable paper lids, showing attention to detail. Noise-canceling earplugs are provided for a quiet sleep. A motion-sensor light is convenient for getting up at night. The bedding is pure cotton with a great feel, and the mattress is very comfortable. The water pressure is high, providing hot water instantly. Finally, the sofa in the room, covered with a dog-specific blanket (which we brought), is incredibly cozy. Overall, it was a very good stay experience with great value for money. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back if I have the chance.

The hotel is just across the road from the lake, making it incredibly convenient to reach the island and the beach. The rooftop terrace offers unobstructed views of Fuxian Lake, perfect for taking photos and watching the sunset. All rooms also face the lake. The hotel has its own lobby bar, perfect for relaxing with coffee during the day and beer or whiskey in the evening. The front desk staff are very attentive and patient. There are excellent restaurants nearby, including the hotel's own restaurant with fresh vegetables and delicious food. Gushan Island is quieter and less crowded than other attractions like Luchong, making it ideal for guests seeking a peaceful vacation. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend it.

Our third-floor room offered fantastic views, and enjoying a BBQ takeout on the balcony at night really elevated our entire vacation experience. What really made it great was that it wasn't crowded this past weekend, which was a plus. The main pool water was a bit murky, but the kids' pool temperature was just right, so the little ones had no problem enjoying themselves. For facilities, it would be even more thoughtful if they provided a small step stool for kids to reach the sink, as we had to move chairs around in the room. Overall, it was excellent, and I'll definitely bring my kids back again when I have the chance.

JJinglingshuiDuring the Spring Festival, all hotels were full, and I searched this homestay by fate, which exceeded expectations! In the overcrowded tourist destination, it is like a quiet harbor, especially everyone's staff here. The little brother at the front desk is very attentive and gentle, and responds to every request you have, just like family. There is also the sister who prepared breakfast. I ate Yuanbao on the first day and specially prepared millet porridge for us... Many details are very warm, so I don’t lift one by one. The staff here is not completing the work, but like family members. The Spring Festival is here for the New Year. Feeling at home.
Let's talk about the hardware facilities. The room not only has a sense of design, but also has a good sense of use. The details are in place. The designer must have been attentive and must have a life.
We can walk 5 minutes to the lake, we fed the seagulls at 8 am (the seagull dam did not feed too many people, no one is rushing to feed you). Don't go in the afternoon, it's best to go early in the morning, remember to bring bread.
We also saw the dragon dance team at the moment we opened the window, and it was really a surprise everywhere.
In short, it is very recommended, like the little brother at the front desk who received us 👍👍

GGuest UserThe family hotel is ran by some very nice people. We found them to be very helpful. The check-in process was quick. We are a Chinese and Canadian couple, so we must register with the local police authorities. The owners of this hotel followed the rules and made it easy for everyone. The hotel itself is very clean. Nice big fluffy towels! The location is just off the retail section of Yuxi in an industrial section, so walking to the train station is easy, and getting downtown on foot is easy too.
