KKeyizouleThis is a treasure homestay in Chengjiang! When you open the window, you can see the quiet lotus pond and Fuxian Lake not far away. The morning mist is shrouded, and the sunset glows red in the evening. Every frame is like a painting! The room is warm and exquisite, with simple style furniture and soft bedding. There is also a viewing balcony and a rooftop terrace. It is so comfortable to sit on a chair and drink tea while enjoying the scenery. The boss is warm and hospitable. He not only recommends restaurants and farmers' markets frequented by locals, but also helps recommend delicious supper. The rice noodles and blueberries for breakfast are full of characteristics and cost-effective.

AAnonymous UserIt is a nice and clean place, with large rooms and pleasant, traditional-looking but modern design. If the location was not so remote from practically everything (except the industrial environment around it), the overall impression would have been much more powerful. But the location makes sense if you want to stay anywhere between the larger urban area of Yuxi and its southern suburban zones, where you may experience the popular lifestyle and annual summer festivities (such as Torch Festival) of Yu people and other Chinese national minorities inhabiting this region.

QQingpingguoguoIt was a great accommodation experience. The hotel is located in Hongta District, the center of Yuxi, and is convenient for eating, playing and traveling. The hotel not only provides breakfast but also lunch. Sister Li at the front desk is very nice. We had booked a double bed room before, but the room was too small, so she changed it to a large twin room for us. We stayed for a few more days and were really satisfied. The room is clean and equipped with complete facilities. Yogurt and fruit are provided every day. It is really good. I will choose this hotel next time.

GGuest UserI stayed here for a few days a few years ago and it was great, so I came back this time. It's still relatively quiet during the ***** New Year holiday. It's close to the market, but a bit far from the tourist attractions. It's actually a good place to stay if you're driving during the holiday. During the ***** New Year holiday, the roads are incredibly crowded, and parking is difficult to find anywhere, with so many people and cars. There are delicious restaurants nearby, and this is the only place in the village with good accommodations. Breakfast also has local specialties, and the lotus root starch is delicious. I've already bought some.

GGuest UserThe B&B is directly opposite the pier of Gushan Scenic Area. You can directly see the lake from the room, and you can take a boat to Gushan Island after crossing the road and walking two steps. The room is quite unique, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is too simple (just a bowl of freshly cooked rice noodles, and then there is a rice cooker on the floor in the corner to bring you 2 small steamed buns and sweet potatoes or corn) and nothing else. . For the price of 700+ per night, it is really about the same level as a B&B breakfast of over 100 per night. It is recommended to upgrade! There is a bar in the front lobby with a lot of different kinds of wine. Unfortunately, I didn't taste it because I drove here and I can't drink while driving. Parking is very convenient, and you can park in the yard in front of the door. Gushan is a bit unpopular, and there are not too many tourists. After 8 o'clock in the evening, the surrounding restaurants are closed, and there are only a few barbecue stalls left, which is not very convenient. There is a terrace on the roof of the fourth floor, where you can watch the sunrise in the morning. The waiters in the guest room and front desk disappeared. Except for check-in time, there was basically no one coming in and out. In the morning, I went to the terrace on the fourth floor to watch the sunrise. It seemed that the banquet I had had the previous night in the private room of the hotel next to it was all gone. It hasn't been cleaned up yet, and the cups and bowls are in a mess... Their coffee is particularly delicious. When I left the store, I was given a cup of hand-brewed coffee, which was delicious!

The room is spacious, the layout is reasonable, and the storage space is sufficient, which fully meets the needs of travel storage. We specifically booked this hotel during off-peak season, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The service, cleanliness, and price were all absolutely perfect. LLay TannyGood location of 2 mins walk to bus stop & mini market, bus to Yuxi Train station is 5mins and cost US$0.15. Bus rides to famous scenic locations and Historic Old street of hotspot cafes, noodle shops are only 5-15 mins away. Hotel is managed by a young couple who are very hospitable and helpful, very welcoming of foreign travellers. Hotel room is comfortable with good mattress, clean and warm duvet for this 12c Yunnan weather, bath towel and shampoo, good wifi signal, hot water shower, water boiler for coffee. As Solo female backpacker who felt very safe in this hotel stay, I highly recommend this listing!

GGuest UserWe booked online a ”standard single room”, for two people. We were in a hurry so we didn't look carefully all the info online, we only saw that the room was 15 m². When we arrived, we realized that 1/ the room is much smaller than that (there's basically only room for the double bed, nothing else) 2/ the toilets and bathroom are shared. We are a couple travelling on a budget, so we're totally okay with shared bathrooms, but this one was really small and also smelly, so we asked to change for a better room, with private bathroom. This new room was fine, but in the end, we paid a total of 68 yuan, for a much more basic room than other rooms we slept in for lower prices. Apart from that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, directly next to a lot of shops and delicious street food.
