Guest UserI had a really lovely stay at Kora Tigot and would definitely stay again. The apartment itself was honestly beautiful, super clean, thoughtfully designed, and one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in. The styling was gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well, I barely needed to use it because the apartment stayed cool easily. It genuinely made me happy coming “home” there each night.
I booked the mountain view apartment which also overlooked a vacant lot/carpark area, but it was very quiet, got lovely afternoon sun, and wasn’t windy, which I actually appreciated.
The location is a little removed from the main tourist areas of Tenerife, but for me that was actually a positive. It felt calmer and more relaxed. I would recommend getting a hire car from the airport - they are very cheap to rent on the island.
A few small things could improve the experience further:
* The pool closing at 6pm felt quite early, especially in summer.
* It would be great if the hotel considered making it adults-only in future, as I think the atmosphere and style of the property really suit a quieter experience.
* The apartment kitchen was very well equipped in some ways (there was even a stick blender/juicer), but oddly missing some basics like a tea towel, cooking oil, and more than a couple of salt and pepper sachets, coffee sachets.
* The generators outside were also a little noisy at night depending on where the apartment was located.
* Service wasn’t always especially warm or welcoming, although I’m not sure whether this was partly a language/cultural difference rather than intentional.
Overall though, the quality and design of the accommodation really stood out and I’d happily stay here again.

QunqinghailanWe stayed for 6 nights in an apartment with a large bedroom, a spacious living room, two bathrooms (one with a tub, one with a shower), a fully equipped open kitchen, and a large sea-view balcony.
Pros:
First, my immediate impression upon check-in was how incredibly clean it was. Although the overall facilities here are a bit dated, every corner of the room was spotless and very tidy. The dishcloths and rags were brand new, and the trash cans were pristine. Cutlery, various cooking pots, a refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, oven, and microwave were all provided. Plus, there's a supermarket right below the front desk, so cooking for ourselves was very convenient.
Second, the front desk service was excellent. The whole hotel had a wonderful atmosphere, including the pool and the rooftop cafe. There were also plenty of sofas, tables, and chairs where you could sit or recline. The public areas were very spacious and clean, and there were many activities available. The ambiance was truly great.
Third, you could book various tours directly opposite the hotel's front desk, and communication in English was seamless.
Cons:
When I went to sleep at night, I smelled a strong musty odor. I searched high and low for a long time but couldn't find anything moldy, even under the bed. The next night, the strong musty smell was still there, and I finally realized it was coming from the decorative panels of the bedroom furniture, which all had a very heavy musty smell. I removed all the dresser drawers and nightstand drawers and put them out on the balcony to air out, but the headboard panels couldn't be removed, and the strong musty smell persisted. I contacted the front desk, and they immediately sent a repairman to the room. After a quick look, he told me they'd be back in 'five minutes,' and then... nothing. He never returned.
They have a WhatsApp customer service, with different staff members on duty each day. When a new staff member asked how everything was, I mentioned that yesterday's repairman said he'd be back in 5 minutes but hadn't returned in over a day. The customer service agent apologized but said they had no vacant rooms. I told them I had already moved to sleep on the sofa. Mold can seriously affect one's health, especially for families with children, and I hope they address this. Then another customer service agent took over, and nothing was resolved; the issue was just left hanging.
Every time I inquired, they responded with a very good attitude, but no one actually solved the problem.
Honestly, they only need to replace the moldy decorative furniture panels with ordinary wooden ones; it's not a difficult task.

It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it.
We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉.
Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill.
We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

It's been 15 years since my last trip to Tenerife and the comments below are based on international five star hotel experiences around the globe.
So here's what I experienced on this reservation:-
Positives
1.Check in / out process fast and professional.
2.Direct beach access via the pool area.
3.Breakfast buffet with internal and external seating choices was excellent.
4.Evening entertainment between 21:00 and 23:00 Hrs was good.
Negatives
1. Allocated R3101 upon arrival and entered to find the bath tub was extremely dirty and required
solvent cleaning to remove large accumulation of water scale dirt around plug area (Approx 200mm
in dia).
Root cause of this problem is a leakage from the shower hose connection which remains to be fixed.
2. TV was on and could not be turned off. This was rectified by Maintenace changing the batteries within
the remote control.
3. Sink plunger mechanism was broken and I was shown how to remove the plug on a daily basis once
housekeeping cleaned the room.
4. Locking mechanism on the balcony sliding door is broken and extremely hard to open / closed.
5. Only one, yes one pool towel provided / guest at the pool via a plastic card that you are required to
exchange at the pool towel bar. If you forget this card it's a return trip to the room.
General Travel Tips.
1. Taxi from TFS Airport to hotel cost 25 Euro each way.
2. Hard Rock Cafe located next door (£££).
3. Great Italian, Thai, Japanese and British restaurants located on the second floor off
the shopping complex across the road from the hotel (££££)

AustriaAliasThe breakfast was really good and well organized. There are lots of activities you can do in the hotel (pool, sauna, spa, gym, table tennis, billiard and other games) and the golf area around looks great from above (I don't play golf though). The beach and other sights (e.g. Siam park) are close by and easy accessable by car or taxi
The room was huge but needs some renovation (e.g. there was a broken flagstone in my bath room and a rupture on the couch)

This hotel offers unaccompanied check in and it is not very intuitive. I had some difficulty checking in as did two gentlemen who were waiting in the lobby before me. They did not speak Spanish at all and their English weas limited so I helped them as I had already contacted someone in charge via WhatsApp. During my stay I did not see anyone at all in the front desk area. An hour and a half before check-out time I sent a message to the staff about keeping my bag in the hotel while waiting for my transportationto the airport later in the day and they responded three hours later. I had already left and found a place that would store my bag. Overall, this place is not very convenient if you are hoping for clear communication on getting into and checking out of the hotel easily and smoothly.

Javier04The atmosphere of this honest remains family. Simple but user-friendly. Like every hotel there are positive points and other negative points.
The positive points :
- 10 minutes from the airport,
- 15 minutes from the tourist beaches of Playa Los Americas or Cristinos, and the “holiday” atmosphere of towns like Costa Adeje,
- quite a few places to park nearby (note: hotel parking 7€)
- theme evenings every evening, in “camping paradise” mode,
- the bartender's cocktails: top and wide choice. Reasonable prices.
- The size of the rooms, spacious and practical for a family.
- Reception staff, friendly and accommodating. One of the receptionists spoke a little French which was a plus but the others, including Javier, were very friendly.
- The swimming pool: certainly not heated but you get used to it quickly once you're in and it's big enough, I think... Shallow, 1.40m at the most, appreciated by families. Just one downside, uncivilized people leave their cigarette butts lying around in the planters, which is a shame.
The negative points, yes there are even a few 🙄.
- Few nature excursions around the hotel...
- The decor is very neat and pretty in the entrance, the patios, the swimming pool area but is even a little ”old-fashioned” among other things in the rooms and the dining room.
- The auditorium is nice with lots of photos of stars but the “warm, Iberian” colors make it “Vintage”.
- The additional costs are not given (30€/night/room for the change of room that we requested and 10€/person for breakfast.) I don't know about the rest...
- Another inconvenience: the nauseating odors at certain times of the day or in the evening... And unfortunately, the hotel can't do anything about it because I think it comes from the nearby golf course or from a something that looks like a sewage treatment plant. So, it doesn't last all day or night... or maybe my nose is used to it but it's still a shame for the hotel. And disturbing for residents.
- Lack of socket next to the bed. Bedside lamp, 1 socket so it's not possible to charge your cell phone at night.
- Planes pass by during the day but this is not disturbing at night because at max at 11 p.m., there is no more traffic so at night, it remains relaxing even.

The hotel is clean but the facilities are worn-out. Breakfast is just awful. The stuff is very polite and helpful. The location is fantastic. It was correct for the price, but definitely not a 4-star level. Could be a bit of noise from the road, but the windows are well-isolated. The air-condition works well. Not a bad choice for short stays!

We really enjoyed our stay in Vilaflor 😁 the self check-in was straightforward and our room and the communal areas were very clean. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Vilaflor with plenty of on-street parking available nearby. We found the bed to be comfy and the room to be warm in the evenings. The complimentary tea and coffee was a nice bonus.
As noted in other reviews, the only negative for us was the thin walls separating the upstairs bedrooms which made it difficult to sleep at times.
