"Great hostel for its price, literally a minute's walk from the ocean. Friendly atmosphere, daily cleaning, even a small corner for coworking. There are two kitchens, one works from 08:30-22:00, the other around the clock. The rooms are equipped with fans. Considering the eternal wind in El Medano, it is quite comfortable. The hostel itself is located within walking distance from bus stops and supermarkets, which, by the way, are open on Sundays. The only minus I would note is the lack of a canopy on the roof. When the sun is shining, it is very hot there."

They keep the place up and running and at the same time are the best of people to make friends, guide and advise you on the places to go around, things to do while also organising regular events together for those staying at the hostel. With a huge kitchen and pantry area to keep your food items and make food together, for yourself or with others is a great bonding experience. With ample places to relax, sit and talk or play music and dance around or hop in the pool for a refreshing dip before joining at the open bar every evening, the hostel has plenty of space for everyone to meet new people and enjoy. Obviously being a co-working hostel, it has a secluded co-working place where you can do your work in peace. The only advise is to have a car with you since transport is better when having your own vehicle around in tenerife as such. Such an amazing experience. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants a hostel experience that feels more like staying with siblings and cousins. (Also FYI there are 3 cats in the property, in case you're allergic or scared of them, although they are also super chill and friendly.)"

"It’s a great hotel with preferential access to golf and first class dining. Very helpful staff. We were returning customers but not returning often enough to avoid getting the only room in the hotel (perhaps there were two) that got no sun either in the morning or afternoon. It’s strange how important a bit of sun is - drying your swim staff or just that last hour of the day. We will return and hopefully we have served our time in room 17. "

Fresh and clean rooms (the housekeeping staff are incredibly helpful), a great location, a heated pool year-round, enjoyable musical entertainment every evening, and above all, exceptionally service-oriented, efficient, and friendly staff throughout the hotel. We stayed on the top floor with a rooftop terrace and an unparalleled view of Los Cristianos! The head receptionist is absolutely phenomenal and incredibly dedicated to taking care of the hotel’s guests in the best possible way. 5 stars to the hotel and its helpful staff!"

"This was my first trip to Tenerife, and we loved it. We stayed at Whala! Tenerife in a single apartment with pool view. Pros: The room was spacious enough for 3 of us, had a small kitchen area and bathroom with shower. The balcony was lovely. It was clean with beds made up on arrival. They offered daily cleaning, which we opted out of. The pool area was regularly cleaned with an inviting pool area and plenty of sun loungers. We had no issues accessing these throughout our stay. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Shout out to Mario who helped book a last minute trip to Teide… he was super helpful and found us a perfect trip. The location was a 10 minute walk to all the shops, bars and beaches of Las Americas! Cons: Only down side… sofa bed was quite hard for sleeping on. There is no WiFi or air-con… but these could be purchased through reception. We had someone banging on the door at 1am shouting they wanted ice!!! Not a great way to be woken up! That said, this isn’t the hotel’s fault… I guess you can’t choose your guests!!"
