"In terms of atmosphere, this hotel actually met our expectations quite well, especially as we prefer a place that is not too crowded, with a natural tropical landscape and an ethnic-rustic architectural style. The room size was also quite spacious, noticeably larger than a typical hotel room. Another plus point was the Smart TV, which made the children happy as they could watch Netflix comfortably.
However, we were rather disappointed with the condition of the room, particularly the bathroom. There was a strong unpleasant odor, similar to a septic tank smell, coming from the toilet/WC area, which was quite disturbing and affected our comfort during the stay. The bathroom also seemed poorly maintained, as seen from the cracked/chipped toilet water tank. In addition, the bathroom ceiling looked untidy and appeared to be sagging on one side.
Another issue that bothered us was the presence of many large black ants inside the room, especially around food. The swimming pool was also not very comfortable, as the chlorine level seemed too high, causing irritation to the eyes and nose when exposed to the water.
As for the restaurant, the food variety was rather limited. What surprised us even more was that omelets or eggs were limited to one portion per guest.
Overall, we believe this hotel has good potential in terms of atmosphere, concept, and room size. However, for a 3-star boutique hotel with a rate of around IDR 900,000 per night, the condition of the facilities and the overall stay experience did not feel proportionate. In our opinion, the hotel is somewhat overpriced."
