"It is still relatively spacious, with a separate bathroom, and the unexpected harvest is that this hotel is very close to the puffin nest. When we arrived, it was almost 10 o'clock in the evening. The front desk little goth waited for us to tell us where to see puffin. It is especially emphasized that you can see thousands of puffin at this time at night. We didn't hesitate to go, sure enough, a lot, but fun"

"Accommodation is situated in a remote area, where the actual lodging is a short drive in from the main reception area. Very basic accommodation, where even the hot water is limited! "The reception staff were very enthusiastic and waited for us to check in. The room facing the cruise terminal was very beautiful. There was also a beautiful waterfall nearby. The indoor environment was clean. We will stay here again next time."

Facilities: We stayed in a two-person room on the third floor. The room was a bit small, and a suitcase larger than a boarding suitcase might get stuck; the extension cord had poor contact, the hot water pressure was sufficient, and it came with a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and Conditioner; there is chess to play in the public area.
But why does the 4-person room on the first floor have a hot water kettle (as seen through the window when walking by the lake), but not upstairs? !
Service: The first floor is under renovation, self-service is provided, keys are provided in envelopes for self-pickup, no breakfast is provided, only paper is enclosed in the envelope. Recommended restaurants
Others: Located next to the road, with no airtight windows and poor sound insulation"

"Centrally located close to domestic airport, gas station and supermarket. Hotel appears to be converted from an old building but is nicely maintained with a charming lobby. Room size is bigger than other Iceland hotels. Shower is only separated from toilet by a shower curtain, so bathroom would get a bit wet but not a big issue. Both dinner and breakfast are good. Better reserve for dinner as it gets busy. O sure washing machine is handy, although may need to wait a bit as there is only one machine. Staff are generally helpful. Overall a pleasant stay."

I would particularly like to highlight the large communal kitchen. It is modernly equipped and offers several cooktops, so all guests can easily cook at the same time without getting in each other's way.
Everything you need is nearby: A large supermarket and a gas station are only about 700 meters away.
Overall, a very pleasant accommodation with a convenient location and good amenities."

MMei YinWe stayed in Room 112 - a beautifully furnished apartment with ocean views and comfy beds. The apartment was very spacious and clean. There was a washer, but no dryer. 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel was provided. Shower screen was too small so a floor squeegee was provided to swipe water back into the bath area after shower. Breakfast spread and quality was excellent including some homemade cakes, breads and cookies. Location was just a 10min drive from the puffins. Our best stay in Iceland and highly recommended

The room space is OK, there is no wardrobe for hanging clothes, only a few hangers, and the mirror in the toilet is not very friendly to the short Asians (like me)
Because it is off-season, the whole town is super quiet and there are not many choices for eating. In addition, the owner of this hotel has several buildings in this town, don't go wrong

LLeah ChiuWasn't expecting much but ended up so pleasantly surprised! My elderly parents and I absolutely loved our stay here! One of the best places we stayed in Iceland this trip. The Guesthouse manager (matnus? Sorry I'm not sure how his name is spelt!) was kind enough to help us arrange a last minute change of room as we changed our minds and wanted to upgrade to a bigger room. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment and everything was lovely. Squeaky clean, even for a clean freak like me. The place was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. I noticed there is a thick layer of cushion over the sofa bed so this was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever slept on. My parents also said the double bed was very very comfortable. Highly highly recommend this Guesthouse!

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, but the curtains were too thin. It was too hot in the room just in time for the sunset, and the blind corner of the bathroom was a little unclean. It's not far from the town center, you can walk there in 20 minutes.
