"My stay at Hotiday in Naples (Museum) was an excellent experience in every way. The property is in a truly convenient location, in the heart of the historic district and just steps from the Piazza Cavour metro station, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The modern and elegant room is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort, including a comfortable bed and pillows. It was impeccably clean, and the bathroom was perfectly equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both sweet and savory options. Everything was excellent. A special thank you goes to Mariarca, who was extremely kind and always available. Her hospitality and professionalism made our stay even more pleasant. She was attentive, proactive, and ready to help with any requests, even exceeding expectations. "We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!"

"What a wonderful experience!!! The room was just perfect. Extremely spacious room and the tub/jacuzzi was an excellent addition. Bathroom was a comfortable size. Kitchenette was also a wonderful surprise (I don’t remember reading about it when I booked). Mini fridge was perfect to keep water bottle and beverages cold. Very cleaned and beautifully presented. The view from the room was just great and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Walking distance from the port (great as I had planned on visiting Capri and Ischia) and many other sightseeing musts. Also many places to eat and stores around the block. The host was also extremely helpful, charming and attentive. She allowed us to keep our bags in the lobby and do check-in early as we were ready visit and sightsee many places as soon as we got there around noon. She was also of great help after we checked-out, as I accidentally left the car keys in the lobby, I was able to recover them. All in all we had a great experience and time and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended."

"After walking nervously for several minutes from the train station and seeing this brand-new youth hostel, I was extremely happy. The rooms, public areas, etc. were all much more pleasant. The front desk service was very friendly and efficient, especially the girl named Francesca and the other girl with glasses, but I didn't know her name. In summary, this is definitely a place worth staying. The only suggestion that needs to be given is that the bed numbers are not very obvious and are a bit difficult to find. The shower room lacks hooks for hanging clothes, which is a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the shower door is only half open, which makes it easy for water to splash out, and I think this can easily lead to damage to public hygiene. However, in any case, this brand-new youth hostel definitely offers an excellent experience!"

"It's very close to the hotel from Naples, but the environment along the way is really not good. I can't imagine that this is Italy. Southern Italy is really hard to describe. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and introduced the local attractions. The room was average. The road outside and the exterior wall of the hotel were under renovation. The noise was from early in the morning to the afternoon. The main problem was that the sewer in the bathroom was very smelly."

"The sound insulation is very poor, the location is in a remote point, but not far from the train station, walking is also convenient. There is access control in the middle of the night, and the security can be. The overall recommendation is average. Service attitude is very good."

"From December 27th to December 29th we stayed in this hotel in Napoli. In the room there is no cleanliness and there are flies that make it difficult to sleep at night. It is possible to hear everything the other guests say (door, children, telephone conversation). The breakfast is below normal, however some employees are rude."

"The room is big enough to ride a bike. The outside is quite desolate. There are many warehouses and building materials markets run by Chinese people. Seeing the national flag makes me feel at ease."

"The staff: amazing. They were some of the most friendly and outgoing people!! They alone made it an amazing stay, so shoutout to them 🩷 The hostel itself was also great! Quite fancy, clean, massive storage drawers under the beds, good sized rooms. The breakfast was yum, so was the free drink on arrival. Omg and they had free stuff in the kitchen for u to make food with. Think olive oil, pasta, tomatoes, zucchini, herbs and spices. LOVE!!! The rooftop was severely underrated, very cool!! Overall an amazing stay, I wish I could come back!!!"
