"This hotel belongs to the budget comfort category. The location is very good. It is not too far to walk to the tourist attractions of the old city. It is on a main street and there is a subway station a few hundred meters away. Also close to the train station. Usually there is no service staff at the front desk (on the second floor). Before you arrive, you have to call to make an appointment, and then someone will open the door on the first floor for you and go through the check-in procedure."

"The staff were constantly cleaning the rooms and it was spotless! I loved the service here. They provide towels as well. The commute from airport is easy 20 mins walk. Each room had 6 beds. And they split it to men and women which was nice. Lovely amenities. Including hair dryer, washer and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended."

Amazing
The Bellini House was a really cute B&B experience!! My favorite thing about it was the staff. The girls were all extremely friendly and helpful, and made me feel right at home. There are only a handful of rooms, so it felt really cozy here. The breakfast and hangout area was right outside of my door, which made me feel close to other guests and safe, especially as a solo traveler. There were drinks and snacks that you can help yourself to and a ”honesty box” system. The breakfast was a wide selection of pastries, fresh squeezed juice!! and eggs that were made to order. The room was big but quite basic. It was also sufficiently clean! Please note that there is no elevator here and The Bellini House is located one floor up from the ground floor, so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

Hotel location is brilliant if you want to be close to the Central Station to travel to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Royal Palace, etc as this covered the main line, regional and Metro lines. Any concerns around the area being dodgy were soon dispelled as a Police car and soldiers were always close by. The Hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and staff friendly. The downsides were really around the restaurant. The evening meal menu was fussy and would not be suitable for families. That said, the location was great as there were lots of good restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The breakfast provided was fairly limited and even though an extra charge was applicable to porridge and other cooked foods, every time I asked for porridge, I was advised that 'it was not possible'. I believe that the hotel should not be charging for these extras, and they should provide what they include on their menus!

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely bed and breakfast by the sea in Naples. The hotel is connected to a charming little brunch café next door, which added to the warm, local atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and convenient — the staff kindly allowed us to check in early and also provided a place to store our luggage before the room was ready. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything was well arranged from the beginning. The room itself was clean, well-designed, and just the right size for our family of four. It had everything we needed, and we appreciated the thoughtful layout and functionality. Breakfast in the morning was delicious — fresh and nicely presented, a great start to the day. We strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Naples. A comfortable, well-managed stay just steps away from the beach!

GGuest UserTerrible experience with this hotel. After confirming the booking and arriving are the area the owner disappears for hours, doesn’t answer texts or phone calls and doesn’t leave anybody in the property to check us in we had to plead with locals to help us get the owners phone number. In addition, when we checked us we had to deal with non English speakers (how do you rent properties internationally without being able to communicate?) and also demanded tax payment in cash even though they carried no change so we ended up paying more than needed. Property itself very nice and clean but I recommend to stay away.

Palazzo Caracciolo is a great place to stay right in the heart of Naples, perfectly located close to amenities and many traditional spots. We know Naples quite well and have stayed in many different accommodations over the years, and this is definitely one of the best we’ve experienced. What truly makes the difference is the staff. From reception to the kitchen, everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was fine overall, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hairdryer and the TV felt quite outdated, the mattress seemed a bit worn, and the pillows were much too soft for our taste. Despite these minor issues, the excellent location and the outstanding staff really improve the stay and make Palazzo Caracciolo a place we wil happily return to.

Walk using the main street is easier. Just next to Hotel Colombo which is easier to identify than the hotel Casablanca sign (which shows a logo you might not be able to recognise). Good breakfast variety.
