"The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are spacious with fairly new facilities. The cleanliness is impeccable. I didn't experience any strange odors in the hallway like some other reviews mentioned. It was truly a great value during the off-peak season. The only minor drawback was that the Japanese breakfast was a bit simple, without even coffee or juice. Overall, it's a resort hotel with excellent value for money."

"The hotel clearly shows its age but is very well-maintained and clean. The room key is a charming, retro seahorse design (be careful not to lose it, as there's a 1000 JPY replacement fee!). The hotel's scenery is absolutely stunning, and the public areas are beautiful. If you miss breakfast, you can have lunch instead; while the selection isn't vast, the food is quite good. The only downside is that it doesn't feel very 'resort-like,' I'm not sure if this is typical for hotels in Japan, but it lacks the relaxed vibe of Southeast Asian resorts. Beach chairs and umbrellas both cost extra. The outdoor pool is too small and closes by 6 PM, and swimming in the sea is also prohibited quite early. The indoor pool, however, is lovely, but it only opens at 10 AM. A real letdown for swimming enthusiasts!"

"This hotel is value for money though it's a bit old. The room is very big and clean. Breakfast has wide variety of selection to choose from. However, it ends at 9.30am so u need to wake up early to enjoy it. "I read the online reviews before booking, and I certainly wasn't disappointed after checking in. The room was incredibly spacious; we booked the Executive Ocean Suite on the top floor, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning. The facilities were also quite comprehensive, and all the staff were very enthusiastic and friendly. The breakfast buffet at the main restaurant offered a wide variety of choices, and the ingredients were fresh, so even our 1.5-year-old baby could eat safely. I highly recommend trying their signature pudding! It's an award-winning dessert from Onna Village. My only regret is the lack of a private beach, but thankfully, they can arrange a free shuttle service to Sun Marine Beach. Before you go, they'll even prepare towels and water for you, which is a very thoughtful touch!"

"Booked this hotel through Trip.com. It's incredibly convenient as the limousine bus stops right at the hotel entrance. The hotel is situated between the Hotel Monterey and the Sheraton, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are incredibly spacious – all suites with two bedrooms, roughly 70 square meters, plus a large terrace of about 10 square meters. Every room offers a direct sea view.
Although the hotel is separated from the beach by a road, it's just a short walk across to the sand. The beach is uncrowded, and under the sunlight, you can clearly see the distinct layers of the 'jellyfish sea,' which is absolutely stunning. For breakfast, there are two choices: Western and Japanese, though the variety isn't extensive. There's a FamilyMart convenience store next door, making it easy to grab essentials. It's the perfect place to just relax and unwind, gaze at the sea, and collect hermit crabs – a truly a fantastic vacation spot."

"This hotel is motel style kind of resort with private beach, expensive but cheaper than the other similar hotels in the Onna area which are also by the beach. I had a ground floor room so didn't have a view (garden view) but if you stay in the upper levels you should get a view of the ocean and beach. The beach is just a few minute walk behind the hotel, and is a small secluded beach with a little reef and is quite lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean, the decor is dated though. Each room has a patio. You can buy snorkelling gear from the small lobby, and there is a small hotel restaurant which serves decent buffet breakfast. I chose this hotel because of the price and also it is close to Cape Maeda where the blue cave is, but you can also do a little snorkelling at the private beach too. It is more convenient to drive there, but they charge 100 yen a day for parking."

"I booked the Beach House zone with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, and overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room condition was excellent—very clean, beautiful, and elegantly designed, with a stunning sea view. The facilities were well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed.
One minor issue was that at night, when closing the bathroom door, there was a wind noise, so we had to keep the bathroom door open while sleeping. Transportation between the main building and the Beach House was convenient with a golf cart service. Additional costs included a parking fee and a resort fee of 300 yen per person per night.
Breakfast around 7:30 AM was quite busy, but I really liked their online queue system, which allowed us to reserve our spot virtually without waiting in front of the restaurant.
The resort had three swimming pools. The first pool, located right next to the sea, was disappointing—it was very dirty, with algae at the bottom. Another issue was that the edge of this pool facing the sea was too deep; anyone under 160 cm would not be able to stand, even though it’s the side with the best sunset view. The second pool was located slightly higher up, but we didn’t use it. The third was an indoor pool, which we also didn’t try.
Staff service was excellent. They spoke English and Japanese fluently, and some could even communicate in Chinese.
Around the hotel, there were also quite a few good restaurants within easy reach, which was very convenient.
Overall, I was very impressed with almost everything, except for the cleanliness of the swimming pool."

"I was innocently to believe there are several swimming pools from the hotel photo, but was disappointed that there is only one (hotel mentioned they have 3, actually is the same one but with shallower water at both sides).
We planned to swim and go outside in daytime and to enjoy the outdoor bath in our own terrace afterwards, but we found there were a lot of insects and flies at night, and we even not dare to open the terrace door to avoid the insects enter our room! The breakfast is a bit early to end at 10am. It is buffet style but not much good to eat. We only go for one day and find sth better to eat outside the rest of the days even though our room rate included breakfasts.
But Aquasense is still a lovely hotel! The room is really spacious and there were three large comfortable beds. The fridge is a home-use size with freezer which seldomly found in most hotels, we can store icecream there and can eat anytime we want to. And the view from terrace is amazing and feel relaxed to stay in the room with lots of sofas! Lastly, I must mention about the fireworks! Hotels launch the fireworks specially for summer in July and Aug, we can enjoy the fireworks at our own terrace. We all loved it so much and it is really an unforgettable experience,"

"Pros:
1. The hotel is close to the Cape Manza scenic spot, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
2. The hotel offers a wide range of water activities, including but not limited to banana boats, jet skis, an inflatable water park, glass-bottom boats, and sunset cruises. If you're not planning on visiting the outer islands, you could easily spend a whole afternoon here.
Cons:
1. The hotel is a bit old. The lobby has no air conditioning 🥵, and the room decor and furnishings feel dated. The shower pressure in the bathroom 🚿 isn't great either.
2. The outdoor pool closes at 6 PM, and the beach only stays open until 5 PM. I won't even mention other times, but Okinawa right now is scorching hot and sunny. The only time you can really enjoy the pool or ocean without getting baked is closer to sunset (unless you don't mind the sun, then never mind what I said). JJoanneGohAmazing experience at Halekulani Okinawa. The resort is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious with a luxurious feel, offering breathtaking ocean views and thoughtful touches everywhere.
Dining was another highlight. The breakfast selection was excellent, and every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented.
I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway in Okinawa. I can’t wait to return!

BButterchocolateyStayed for 1 night at the hotel and everything was perfect. Feeling welcomed at the door with the staff greeting us and checking with our booking, followed by a welcome matcha and mochi then the check-in procedures. Since we booked the plan with dinner and breakfast, we got the time to enjoy the public bath area before heading to the restaurant for a scrumptious dinner, with sunset as the backdrop.
Breakfast on the next day is also a pleasant surprise with the Japanese set breakfast and free flow on pancakes that you can make on your own at the pancake machine, which is a satisfying if you crave for a taste of Western style breakfast. I would love to stay in this hotel again when revisiting Okinawa next time!

LLishierThe room is large, with complete facilities, a washing machine, and a large bathtub, so you can take a bath every day. The breakfast is average, and you will get tired of it after a few days. There is a 7-11 and two Lawsons nearby, so you can buy something to eat. There is an eel rice on the right side of the door, which is delicious, but you need to make a reservation. The sea is behind, and it is very close. There is a flat-bottomed glass boat, where you can watch and feed the fish. The 120 bus is not far away, and you can go directly to Naha City and Naha Airport.

The hotel features a game room, public bath, spa, and sauna, ensuring guests have plenty of ways to relax and unwind. Additionally, it offers a diverse menu of activities, including unique marine sports, making it perfect for those seeking adventure. Situated within the Okinawa National Beach Park, the hotel provides easy access to the beach, allowing guests to step out and enjoy the beautiful coastline.
The hotel also houses three stores, offering convenient shopping options at any time. We especially appreciated receiving free coupons when room service wasn’t required. Breakfast at the hotel is truly exceptional, with a variety of choices available. We particularly enjoyed the sushi bowls served on two mornings during our stay. The dining area is thoughtfully designed, with both indoor and outdoor seating that ensures privacy between tables. Dining while gazing at the stunning sea view was a delightful experience.
However, one issue marred our otherwise pleasant stay. On the night of our arrival, two family members used the public bath and were informed that the fee was 300 yen per person. Yet, upon checkout, we discovered we had been charged 1800 yen for their visit. Despite asking the receptionist twice for clarification, she insisted this was the correct charge for two people. My family members noted that other guests had paid 300 yen in cash before entering the bath, but since they didn’t have cash on hand, the fee was billed to our room. This discrepancy felt unfair and left us disappointed.
Overall, despite this billing issue, we greatly enjoyed our time at Rizza Sea Park Hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

XXiaoyuanqiuThe hotel is a bit old, but the service is absolutely fantastic. Both the Chinese and Japanese staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room is spotless, and there's a tatami area perfect for entertaining guests, chatting, or having tea. It's very quiet and comfortable. You can go snorkeling directly from the hotel's small beach downstairs, but you'll need to rent a life vest. When there are fewer people, the snorkeling visibility is excellent. The downside is that there are hardly any restaurants nearby; you'll need to take a taxi. The closest convenience store is more than a 20-minute walk away, and the hotel itself has very few dining options. There were a lot of cobwebs on the balcony, but the view is unbeatable. Almost every room in this hotel is a direct ocean-view room. I'll definitely stay here again next year and hope the hotel adds more food and beverage choices. The 120 bus to the airport is conveniently located just across the street.

CC cowThe service was great! Every corner of the hotel room AND the bath area are squeakly clean. I could say that the bath area was even cleaner than most of people houses. The shower head power was incredibly strong, I could wash my hair 2x faster than normal showers! Parking area was huge and convenient. The bedroom was super cozy, the beds were comfy too but if you need extra spaces for maybe your family, theres extra futon for you to use (although you have to ask the counter and pay). Overall I really enjoyed staying over. I was suprised during my stay, there were barely any customers which made my bathing experience extra enjoyable.

TTraveller4444If you’re traveling solo and are not planning on staying in a resort then I’d definitely recommend here. Very convenient location which can be accessed directly from the airport using the Okinawa airport shuttle. Right next to the beach and a 7/11 with restaurants also close by. If you’re not renting a car you can also use the local bus services to go both north and south. Overall a very good experience staying here

TTezpezMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Ocean Resort PMC. The location is convenient if you have diving plans, with the diving drop-off point right next to the hotel. There's also a surf and diving shop and school below where you can ask about lessons and equipment. Although we had already booked our diving elsewhere, it was just an 8-minute drive away, and they even drove us back to the hotel, which was a bit amusing.
Overall, the stay was fair, but there are a few things to note. After 11 AM, the elevator is not available, and the parking lot is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, there's a 24/7 convenience store just across the street, which is very handy. The ground floor has a washing machine that all guests can use. After 11 PM, you have to use the stairs, which can be a bit scary as there's no light. The hotel has a kitchen, but it lacks basic utensils.
For the price, I felt like I could have picked somewhere better, but the location and amenities were decent enough for our needs.

UuulissiThe B&B is a bit dated, with some stains on walls, and flooring starting detach in some corners. Despite this, the stay was good. The owner is very friendly, and the location of the B&B is very convenient, although without a car it's rather uphill. Room was really big and on two levels.

Tthat DamianExcellent location and service, the location is superb, being close to not only beaches, but also in-between Yomitan and Onna (and OIST university, if you'd like to visit your friends). There's also a combini right next doors(!. Cape Maeda, Zakimi Castle is also all at cycleable distance!
