"The hotel is great, and the airport shuttle drops you right at the entrance. It has a classic, old-money vibe with five pools of varying sizes, including dedicated pools for toddlers. The view from the balcony is fantastic, and they even provided sparklers so we could light fireworks on the beach at night."

"Since 2015, we have visited this hotel numerous times and always enjoyed its wide array of amenities. The hotel features a game room, public bath, spa, and sauna, ensuring guests have plenty of ways to relax and unwind. Additionally, it offers a diverse menu of activities, including unique marine sports, making it perfect for those seeking adventure. Situated within the Okinawa National Beach Park, the hotel provides easy access to the beach, allowing guests to step out and enjoy the beautiful coastline. The hotel also houses three stores, offering convenient shopping options at any time. We especially appreciated receiving free coupons when room service wasn’t required. Breakfast at the hotel is truly exceptional, with a variety of choices available. We particularly enjoyed the sushi bowls served on two mornings during our stay. The dining area is thoughtfully designed, with both indoor and outdoor seating that ensures privacy between tables. Dining while gazing at the stunning sea view was a delightful experience. However, one issue marred our otherwise pleasant stay. On the night of our arrival, two family members used the public bath and were informed that the fee was 300 yen per person. Yet, upon checkout, we discovered we had been charged 1800 yen for their visit. Despite asking the receptionist twice for clarification, she insisted this was the correct charge for two people. My family members noted that other guests had paid 300 yen in cash before entering the bath, but since they didn’t have cash on hand, the fee was billed to our room. This discrepancy felt unfair and left us disappointed. Overall, despite this billing issue, we greatly enjoyed our time at Rizza Sea Park Hotel and look forward to returning in the future."

"Stayed for 1 night at the hotel and everything was perfect. Feeling welcomed at the door with the staff greeting us and checking with our booking, followed by a welcome matcha and mochi then the check-in procedures. Since we booked the plan with dinner and breakfast, we got the time to enjoy the public bath area before heading to the restaurant for a scrumptious dinner, with sunset as the backdrop. Breakfast on the next day is also a pleasant surprise with the Japanese set breakfast and free flow on pancakes that you can make on your own at the pancake machine, which is a satisfying if you crave for a taste of Western style breakfast. I would love to stay in this hotel again when revisiting Okinawa next time!"

"My stay in the sea-view room was fantastic. The room faced the ocean, offering a wide-open view. During the day, I enjoyed the deep blue sea, and the evening and night views were equally captivating. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. Just sitting by the window and watching the waves and the changing sky was incredibly therapeutic. Overall, the quality of the stay was excellent, and the sea view was a huge bonus. Highly recommended."

"I booked the Beach House zone with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, and overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room condition was excellent—very clean, beautiful, and elegantly designed, with a stunning sea view. The facilities were well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. One minor issue was that at night, when closing the bathroom door, there was a wind noise, so we had to keep the bathroom door open while sleeping. Transportation between the main building and the Beach House was convenient with a golf cart service. Additional costs included a parking fee and a resort fee of 300 yen per person per night. Breakfast around 7:30 AM was quite busy, but I really liked their online queue system, which allowed us to reserve our spot virtually without waiting in front of the restaurant. The resort had three swimming pools. The first pool, located right next to the sea, was disappointing—it was very dirty, with algae at the bottom. Another issue was that the edge of this pool facing the sea was too deep; anyone under 160 cm would not be able to stand, even though it’s the side with the best sunset view. The second pool was located slightly higher up, but we didn’t use it. The third was an indoor pool, which we also didn’t try. Staff service was excellent. They spoke English and Japanese fluently, and some could even communicate in Chinese. Around the hotel, there were also quite a few good restaurants within easy reach, which was very convenient. Overall, I was very impressed with almost everything, except for the cleanliness of the swimming pool."

The rooms are extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfectly suited for a slow, restorative stay. The surrounding nature is stunning, and the resort feels well integrated into its landscape, which adds a lot to the overall experience. We stayed in December, and despite it being winter, the atmosphere was still incredibly pleasant and charming. The main pool does not operate in winter, but honestly, it doesn’t feel like a drawback at all—there is so much more to the property than the pool. Breakfast deserves a special mention: it is excellent, with high-quality ingredients and great variety. I highly recommend trying breakfast in different restaurants during your stay, as each offers a slightly different experience. Overall, Halekulani Okinawa is a refined, serene, and beautifully executed resort. A perfect choice for those who value comfort, service, and atmosphere over loud entertainment—even in the winter season."

"The hotel clearly shows its age but is very well-maintained and clean. The room key is a charming, retro seahorse design (be careful not to lose it, as there's a 1000 JPY replacement fee!). The hotel's scenery is absolutely stunning, and the public areas are beautiful. If you miss breakfast, you can have lunch instead; while the selection isn't vast, the food is quite good. The only downside is that it doesn't feel very 'resort-like,' I'm not sure if this is typical for hotels in Japan, but it lacks the relaxed vibe of Southeast Asian resorts. Beach chairs and umbrellas both cost extra. The outdoor pool is too small and closes by 6 PM, and swimming in the sea is also prohibited quite early. The indoor pool, however, is lovely, but it only opens at 10 AM. A real letdown for swimming enthusiasts!"

"Booked this hotel through Trip.com. It's incredibly convenient as the limousine bus stops right at the hotel entrance. The hotel is situated between the Hotel Monterey and the Sheraton, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are incredibly spacious – all suites with two bedrooms, roughly 70 square meters, plus a large terrace of about 10 square meters. Every room offers a direct sea view. Although the hotel is separated from the beach by a road, it's just a short walk across to the sand. The beach is uncrowded, and under the sunlight, you can clearly see the distinct layers of the 'jellyfish sea,' which is absolutely stunning. For breakfast, there are two choices: Western and Japanese, though the variety isn't extensive. There's a FamilyMart convenience store next door, making it easy to grab essentials. It's the perfect place to just relax and unwind, gaze at the sea, and collect hermit crabs – a truly a fantastic vacation spot."
