Amazing
GGuest UserBest hotel i have stayed in Okinawa, from the moment we stepped in hotel we were greeted, well taken care of until the moment we left the hotel. Lovely F&B and all the facilities, will defnitely return
GGuest UserNeither trip.com nor the hotel informed us beforehand that there would not be cleaning included for the duration of our stay. We had to put our used towels, bathrobes and rubbish bins outside the room for them to change. It would have cost JPY 5000 for each cleaning. Should this be labelled an airbnb instead?
Also, trip.com did not indicate that additional charges had to be paid again for a child until after booking (the selected room for 3 was already more expensive than the room for 2).
Requests to trip.com customer service staff were abysmal and could not address the enquiry.
Service was decent and most were friendly to the child. Breakfast was also decent although it was 2x japanese and 1x western (no choice).
The view from the restaurant was amazing! Blue seas and floor to ceiling glass windows.
Onsen and sauna were also serviceable.
Good proximity to onna beach and aquarium compared to naha.
Good overall except for the hidden charges (and no cleaning!) which spoilt the overall experience. Not sure if we would stay again, and we definitely won't be using trip.com in future.
MM231507****I have no idea why this hotel is so popular. I stayed during the off-season and paid 2,000, which is double the price of the Intercontinental next door. They gave me a room right by the basement parking entrance, and cars kept coming out, making it incredibly noisy! After complaining to Trip.com, I was moved to the 10th floor. Even though it was typhoon season and the occupancy rate wasn't high, they still gave me a terrible room. If it were peak season and first-come, first-served, and I got a bad room, I might not mind so much. The front desk staff had a stern face and was cracking their knuckles right in front of us, making loud popping sounds with their fists – like they wanted to pick a fight! The small room had three beds crammed in, making it very cramped. We were two adults and a 6-year-old child, and we booked a double room. I don't know why they gave us a triple-bedded room without discussing it. The hotel doesn't even separate pedestrians from vehicles. Although the sea view from the 10th floor was decent after we moved, there were parking spaces directly below, so it's definitely not worth the price… The hotel's lawn and public areas were messy, and the pool was just mediocre. The lobby, however, was quite grand, and breakfast was acceptable! The old church wasn't particularly photogenic either. If you have a car, there's absolutely no need to stay here; there are far better options. The beach isn't as good as other 5-star hotels either! There are plenty of dining options nearby, which might be why it's popular, possibly due to direct bus access. On checkout day, I saw many tourists with luggage waiting for transport at the main entrance. If it's more expensive than other 5-star hotels, there's no reason to choose it. I stayed at three hotels, and this was the worst…
ZZhuyuanyurundezhuyingAfter comparing several resorts in the central region, we finally settled on Moon Beach. I was initially worried about the hotel being a bit older, but now I have no regrets about choosing it. The breakfast selection was extensive. If you sleep in and miss breakfast, you can simply switch it for lunch instead. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel lobby, which is incredibly convenient. It would have been perfect if the weather had been a bit better. All in all, I highly recommend this place when visiting Onna Village.
GGuest UserI was innocently to believe there are several swimming pools from the hotel photo, but was disappointed that there is only one (hotel mentioned they have 3, actually is the same one but with shallower water at both sides).
We planned to swim and go outside in daytime and to enjoy the outdoor bath in our own terrace afterwards, but we found there were a lot of insects and flies at night, and we even not dare to open the terrace door to avoid the insects enter our room! The breakfast is a bit early to end at 10am. It is buffet style but not much good to eat. We only go for one day and find sth better to eat outside the rest of the days even though our room rate included breakfasts.
But Aquasense is still a lovely hotel! The room is really spacious and there were three large comfortable beds. The fridge is a home-use size with freezer which seldomly found in most hotels, we can store icecream there and can eat anytime we want to. And the view from terrace is amazing and feel relaxed to stay in the room with lots of sofas! Lastly, I must mention about the fireworks! Hotels launch the fireworks specially for summer in July and Aug, we can enjoy the fireworks at our own terrace. We all loved it so much and it is really an unforgettable experience,
BBanlimamaI was initially very pleased with the hotel's location. The pool and beach facilities were excellent, and there were also two breakfast options. However, the only truly unpleasant experience occurred during check-in. The young male staff member at the front desk was incredibly unprofessional. The check-in process took a full 45 minutes, and I was almost on the verge of heatstroke from standing there so long! After finally checking in, I wanted to quickly freshen up with a shower, but then waited another 30 minutes in the room for my luggage. I eventually went back to the front desk to inquire about my bags, only to find them unceremoniously dumped in a corner, completely unattended. It was only after I made a forceful complaint in English that a staff member hurriedly delivered the luggage to my room. Because I formally submitted a complaint, a staff member later proactively contacted me and offered water park coupons, which showed they were taking the matter seriously. Given we were a family with elderly parents and young children, traveling during the peak summer heat, I appreciated their effort to rectify the situation, as I really didn't want any more hassle. Aside from that, the remainder of our stay was quite pleasant. Although the room facilities were noticeably dated, they were acceptable.
GGuest UserSince 2015, we have visited this hotel numerous times and always enjoyed its wide array of amenities. The hotel features a game room, public bath, spa, and sauna, ensuring guests have plenty of ways to relax and unwind. Additionally, it offers a diverse menu of activities, including unique marine sports, making it perfect for those seeking adventure. Situated within the Okinawa National Beach Park, the hotel provides easy access to the beach, allowing guests to step out and enjoy the beautiful coastline.
The hotel also houses three stores, offering convenient shopping options at any time. We especially appreciated receiving free coupons when room service wasn’t required. Breakfast at the hotel is truly exceptional, with a variety of choices available. We particularly enjoyed the sushi bowls served on two mornings during our stay. The dining area is thoughtfully designed, with both indoor and outdoor seating that ensures privacy between tables. Dining while gazing at the stunning sea view was a delightful experience.
However, one issue marred our otherwise pleasant stay. On the night of our arrival, two family members used the public bath and were informed that the fee was 300 yen per person. Yet, upon checkout, we discovered we had been charged 1800 yen for their visit. Despite asking the receptionist twice for clarification, she insisted this was the correct charge for two people. My family members noted that other guests had paid 300 yen in cash before entering the bath, but since they didn’t have cash on hand, the fee was billed to our room. This discrepancy felt unfair and left us disappointed.
Overall, despite this billing issue, we greatly enjoyed our time at Rizza Sea Park Hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
Tthat DamianExcellent location and service, the location is superb, being close to not only beaches, but also in-between Yomitan and Onna (and OIST university, if you'd like to visit your friends). There's also a combini right next doors(!. Cape Maeda, Zakimi Castle is also all at cycleable distance!
TTezpezMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Ocean Resort PMC. The location is convenient if you have diving plans, with the diving drop-off point right next to the hotel. There's also a surf and diving shop and school below where you can ask about lessons and equipment. Although we had already booked our diving elsewhere, it was just an 8-minute drive away, and they even drove us back to the hotel, which was a bit amusing.
Overall, the stay was fair, but there are a few things to note. After 11 AM, the elevator is not available, and the parking lot is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, there's a 24/7 convenience store just across the street, which is very handy. The ground floor has a washing machine that all guests can use. After 11 PM, you have to use the stairs, which can be a bit scary as there's no light. The hotel has a kitchen, but it lacks basic utensils.
For the price, I felt like I could have picked somewhere better, but the location and amenities were decent enough for our needs.
GGuest UserThe room looked clean, but when I walked to the tatami place to see, it was actually full of hair and a lot of sand dust, and then carefully checked the entire room floor, I can only say that there is a lot of dust, a lot of sand and a lot of hair! I can't believe it..... Later, I wiped the floor all over, and the pillow shook the dust before I had a way to rest and would not choose to stay again.
