Teshikaga Hotels with Wifi

"Everything was fair, except the staffs trying to change me onsen tax but it was not described in the room rate when i made booking. Moreover, they try to overchange onsen tax of 3 preson/room (2 rooms = 6 person; and 2 nights) while I check in only 4 person. I refuse to pay, so they prohibit me from using onsen. i know the law that tax has to be paid. BUT IT HAS TO TELL CUSTOMERS TOTAL PRICE IN ADVANCE WHEN I MADE THE BOOKING. Therefore, I rated service only 1 star !"

"The location of the homestay is outside the disciple Qu Yu, but it is very close to the city by car, and it takes about 5 minutes to get to the station supermarket. The reception of the proprietress was very kind, because we didn't understand Japanese at all, she was very intimate to use some English sentences to let us understand the folk facilities, very intimate. The room type we live in is tatami, there is a living room and bedroom, there is a lot of space to enjoy meals, play games or watch TV, very comfortable. Men and women have toilets and bathrooms. It is very special that its bathroom has hot springs. I personally recommend that you must experience its hot springs. There is a faint sulfur smell, no pungent, and the full body will be relaxed and comfortable. The laundry fee is very Buddhist. The proprietress is very considerate of the passengers. The price charged is really cheap. The clothes are still drying to the hot level. I am still very touched in retrospect. The house is really historical, it is quite loud when walking, but the sound of the corridor is basically not heard in the room, so the impact is not big, you can experience the Showa style, before moving in, I was still a little worried about the cleanliness, but after I checked in, I found that the whole house was cleaned. "This ranks among, or maybe even the favourite accommodation in my 10 trips to Japan. Such a cosy and clean place! The room is beautiful with nice and useful touches like an in-out thermometer. The owner, BABA-san went out of his way to make guests feel welcome. The meals were excellent. The stargazing was so memorable and BABA-san points out animals like deer, rabbits, birds etc right outside the Pension which you can view from your room window or windows at breakfast. We will remember this stay for a long time to come."

"酒店位置在川湯酒店中心區，房間細只可以住一個人，如果兩個人有点迫，湯泉區好細，不過川湯温泉硫磺泉水好好，如果人多有的迫，價錢方面是這裡最便宜，如果預算有限可以來這住，早餐是定 質素平平， 晚餐不提供要，要在大雪下出外尋找晚餐，不過這裡的壽司店好好食，服務平平不過不失，如果想便宜來這裡。"

"The traditional homestay seems to be a few years old. It is very close to the station and has a lot of guests. It looks like three or four kilometers away from Sulphur Mountain. "My 2-day stay at Kawayu Kanko hotel was very pleasant. While the rooms may look tired, they are spacious and functional (I could do my taiqi exercise in my room!). 3 things I like most about the stay: the staff I interacted with, the onsen and the dinner. Ms Yuka at the front desk spoke perfect English and she gave me the most useful ideas about where to eat and where to go. Thanks to her, I got to learn about the Teshikaga Eco-Passport and got to visit Lake Kussharo (Sunayu area), Lake Mashu and Mt Io by bus, all in one day. Her boss, Mr Nakajima was a very friendly gentleman. Language did not deter him as he patiently gave me a lesson (using his phone translator) about the geographics and the creation of the Kawayu Onsen area. Secondly, the onsen was great. The temperature was just right for me and the mineral refreshed my body instantly. I was told the hot spring water in the hotel came directly from a source that is only a few kilometers away. Lastly, the kaiseki dinner was great. The spread was generous. On a freezing winter day, the 2 personal hotpots greatly filled up and warmed my body. I will definitely return to the hotel."

"This hotel is the first in my heart in the Japanese hotel for the past ten years. The service staff is excellent, modern, high-tech, elegant and clean, the indoor space is large, the outside is close to nature, and the spare parts are super high-end and easy to use. Really worth recommending, super impressed hotel during the trip"

"The house design is beautiful, but the location is a bit far unless you have a car. The guesthouse serves food, and you can mingle with other guests. You can also play with the cats, though be careful with the three-legged one. The room is clean and comfortable."
