"This is a budget(?) hostel. Honestly, hotels in Hakodate are 50,000 won, so I don't really understand why a hostel would cost over 50,000 won... but it's in the middle of nowhere, so what can I do?
The accessibility is excellent. It's right in front of JR Wakkanai Station and the Wakkanai Bus Terminal. If you're in a hurry, you can just run there. This is definitely a recommendation.
I stayed in a dormitory with 10 people per room. There's a 10 PM etiquette time and no eating or drinking in the room, but perhaps because there was a group of elderly people staying, the rules weren't strictly enforced. At least I was able to find a simple snack.
Aside from the complex building, it has everything you need. There are four shower rooms, so washing up was no problem. The lounge is large and has everything you need, like a microwave, induction cooktop, and coffee pot. The free tea and coffee are also a nice touch.
The staff were friendly, so I'd recommend it, but it's hard to overcome the limitations of a hostel. I'm not a fan of hostels, so next time I'll stay at a hotel, even if it's more expensive."
