"A very pleasant surprise, especially for the price! The hotel isn't brand new, but I found it very relaxing. A good place. The owner, despite the language barrier, was very kind and always smiling. Everything was very clean: the bedding, the bathroom. Oh, and there's even a bathtub! It has everything! There's even a coffee machine that makes a better drink than Starbucks, and it's free! It's definitely a place I'll return to."

"Wonderful hotel and staff, special thanks to all the staff ♥️! Beautiful and well-maintained grounds near the hotel. My room was on the 5th floor. Very clean and cozy, towel, hairdryer, robe, and shampoo were provided. The only thing missing was a disposable toothbrush and toothpaste, but they warned me in advance due to restrictions on disposables (I brought everything with me). The bed was very soft and comfortable. At the reception, they gave me discount coupons for the hotel cafe and restaurant. I tried the Bon Appetit restaurant, I recommend it 👌🏻 – delicious seafood pasta. There's a supermarket downstairs, and a 24-hour supermarket just above the hotel. I'll be back! I loved it!"

"The room was nice, the bed was big and sturdy. They gave us breakfast around 7:15am. The staff was really nice. They kept our luggage before the check-in and after the checkout. Really well placed with everything you need in the area !"

"I decided to go on a long-distance trip to Gangneung and Donghae before my elementary school child's vacation starts, and while looking around, I decided on Hotel Coco. The advantage of the hotel is its cost-effectiveness. It was nice that it was cleaned well and the bedding was clean. Usually, in some places, the mattress cover is not replaced when cleaning after a stay, but here, even the cover and the bedding on it were clean. The blanket covering was warm and clean. The bathroom was clean. The refrigerator worked well, so it was good to store food. Although the hotel seemed old, it was well maintained. And the next morning, service for the sauna in the building next door is included. It was good. It was good for relieving travel fatigue. The owner kindly explained it to me, but breakfast was no longer provided and the sauna was free for those staying, so I was curious and tried it out early the next morning. Of course, you should not imagine the sauna as a 4 or 5 star hotel sauna. It was a clean bath and sauna facility and there were no problems using it. Anyway, I had a very comfortable stay in a well-maintained, cost-effective hotel. Lastly, rather than a shortcoming, I wish this could be improved a bit. The parking space is small, so I have to worry about getting in and out of the car. And I stayed in room 803, and there was only a TV inside room 803. It would have been nice to be connected. Users will be very satisfied if the TV in the room is connected rather than the TV in the living room, so they can watch TV while lying in bed. Next, I lie down on the bed in the room and relax comfortably while watching TV. I'm looking forward to seeing myself ^^ Other than these two things, I really liked Hotel Coco. I would like to recommend it to those who are looking for a cost-effective hotel without expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel. I will use Hotel Coco every time I travel to the East Sea. Please stay healthy until we see you again ^^"

"The receptionist at check in and when I checked out (can’t believe I forgot to ask her name) is amazing! She’s eloquent in English and really helpful, helping me call a cab etc. The hotel has all the amenities needed and is very much like an apartment so there’s the kitchen sink, full fridge and freezer, kitchen stuff, cutleries and bowls, washing machine, paper cups, kettle etc. lots of space in the room too. Nice park near the hotel and lots of food option. Would stay here again if I come to Donghae."
