Sekuro VIllage Beach Resort
"The hotel is located away from the city, a little secluded, hence the beach is clean, sand and water is pristine. You can enjoy the sunset from the hotel. The weather was perfect when we were there; not too hot, a bit of scattered clouds, yet dry. Our room was perfect too, clean, those who are sensitive to pollen and dust can definitely agree with my statement. The bathroom is very spacious with a tropical feel, towels are clean, with all kinds of amenities provided. The swimming pool is very clean, with kiddie pool and adult pool divided using a line of miniature tortoise statues, so that it's completely safe for kids to swim alone. The hotel area is vast with beautiful and luscious gardens, there are some open-air seating areas with a very good social distancing consideration. I even notice an area for BBQ-ing, too bad I wasn't aware of it before my visit. The kids playground is excellent too, completed with a swing and hammock. The material used for the swing, slide, and monkey bars are top-notched. Staff is very friendly during check in, our stay, and check out. There was a glitch in the wi-fi at some point during our stay, I called the front desk and they had it fixed right away. I also had to ask for more shower gel because my toddler was enjoying the shower so much she wasted so much soap. I also called the front desk to ask for a pointer to a local eatery at Mpu Rancak Beach. Overall, our stay was beyond great. I'll definitely come back!"

Royal Ocean View Karimunjawa
"I stayed at this hotel and I do not recommend it. The air in the bathroom was inconsistent and the water flow was very weak. During breakfast on October 4, the food served included fried rice, fried noodles, fried chicken, macaroni soup with cheese dumpling, watermelon, steamed banana, and more. What really disappointed me was when I found a green fly inside my soup bowl during breakfast. Surprisingly, the staff only said “sorry” and simply walked away without any further follow-up. I paid to stay here and expected a proper solution from the hotel, not silence. Room number: 517 Stay period: October 3–5, 2025"
Jepara Garden Resort
"I'm amazed that there's a hotel like this in Jepara. It feels like staying at a beautifully landscaped resort. However, some areas are still under construction, so I was disappointed that I couldn't fully enjoy the facilities."

Villa Suerte
"Service is very warm. Place so nice. Loved the beachfront resto. We had a good conversation in the dining as furniture sets are with a comfy chill vibe."

Samudra Hotel
"It's very close to the port. Just ok"
Ocean View Residence
"Don’t expect 5 stars, but not bad value for the low price paid."
Vinn Villa
"The receptionist is less responsive in service, guests have repeatedly asked for help, the response is slow. The gallon water dispenser on the 2nd floor has run out on WA, no response. The addition is quite good."
The Gecho Inn Country
"Hotel immersed in a beautiful garden with colorful plants and flowers. The rooms are large and well furnished. I recommend this hotel!"
Ono Joglo Resort and Convention Jepara
"Bagus! This might be the best accommodation in Jepara. Everything here is excellent. The pool is perfect, and they have two—one for adults, and one for kids. The beach is a few steps from the pool. Service was excellent. The bed is comfortable and large. Only issue is that there is no fridge in the room. (November 2023)"
Tabebuya Hotel
"Satisfying... Enjoyable living here... Highly recommended..."
Garden House Jepara
"Great Value! Once you arrive there, you find a new, bright white house welcoming you to stay. The spacious guest rooms were very clean, airconditioned and have a big terrace facing the sea – just the ones you want to have on your holiday. I especially enjoyed the early morning hours, having a swim in the outdoor pool, listening to morning prayers from different directions, and just enjoying a nice cup of java coffee by the pool. Nothing what you can experience back home in Europe. If you fancy for some nasi goreng and sambal, just ask the owner – didn’t find any better during our whole trip. Once you are there, take a walk to the nearby beach, and enjoy a beer looking at the sunset or have a dinner in the neighbouring restaurant. If you need some program, ask Peter. We had a nice tour to the countryside and visit to the city. If you like - rent a ‘motor’ (scooter) and take a tour in Jepara by your own. Big thanks to the lovely couple (Peter and Misni) for all the tips, program, and service – you made our stay perfect."
The Gecho Inn Town
"We spent one night at this hotel while waiting for the ferry to the Karimunjava Islands. The room was very spacious but very dirty; the floor was covered in hair, and I had to remove it to keep it from sticking to my suitcases and shoes. The hot water in the bathroom didn't work well. The place is nice, but they should revise the rooms and the cleanliness."
Royal Kencana Hotel powered by Cocotel
"The rating is listed as 3 stars, in the same class as 3 stars, there is no hot shower in the bathroom. In terms of location, the city center is really good."
Syailendra Hotel Syariah
"I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and 6 days. The facilities are a bit dated, but it's centrally located, the rooms are generally spacious, and the staff are very friendly. However, there was a lot of noise here and there, the bathroom was a bit small, and the water pressure was low, making showers take a long time. In summary, I plan to stay at this hotel on my next business trip to Cebu, Indonesia."
Bunga Jabe
"We are travelers who love nature, simplicity, and tranquility, and Bunga Jabe was one of the best accommodations of our entire trip: a simple bungalow in a quiet corner with an incredible setting, just 20 meters from a beach with some of the most beautiful coral we've ever seen. The staff is lovely; Yahya (the receptionist) and Imame are wonderful people to spend quality time with. They met all our expectations and answered all our questions, and organized everything so we had a fantastic stay. There are activities offered, and the breakfasts are amazing every morning! Clearly my favorite place from a 7-month trip through Asia. Thank you for everything! 🌸"
Breve Azurine Lagoon Resort
"The most beautiful resort I stayed at in my life. The view of the lagoon from the pergola and the restaurant (and the honeymoon suite) is a vision straight out of fantasies and dreams. It’s incredibly quiet. The only “noises” (I call them jungle-shore melodies) you will hear are those of geicos, crickets, and of course blue Azurine birds. The staff (Wulan and all the other delightful people) is incredibly lovely and helpful, they will help arrange ferry tickets and even organise retour transport to the cities on main land Java. The service provided at the restaurant is outstanding. Jean-Marc will make you feel at home, tell you about the culture of the island and provide really interesting insights on Karimun. He is working at building a library in the hotel based on the generosity of visitors, in a variety of languages - so on top of that you can fill your head with inspiring stories. The tour (I did a full day island hoping) organised by the hotel will help you realise the chance you have being here and bearing witness of the beauty of the island, the sea, and all of the nature around it. Thanks again Jiwaquest for everything 🙏🏼"
Coconut Lodge Resort
"I love visiting this resort every time I go to Jepara. This resort is very peaceful. It is spacious and has many swimming pools. My family always enjoys staying here. The combination of Jepara’s private beach atmosphere, tranquility, and clean sandy shores makes everything feel perfect. Every night, we swim and relax at the pool bar. We have stayed here three times and tried various room types. In our opinion, the rooms are clean."
The Happinezz Hills Hotel
"This is my second stay here. It's close to Love Hill, just a short walk away. The view is stunning, and the place is clean and cleaned daily. The water is strong and there's a nice pool."
