"We really liked the calm beach and relaxed atmosphere at Denizkizi Hotel. It’s about 20 minutes to Kyrenia, and there are frequent buses nearby, so it was easy to go into town for the harbour, waterfront bars, and restaurants. We enjoyed the balance of quiet days at the hotel and evenings out in Kyrenia. Some afternoons we also just walked in the Alsancak Park, which was very nice and close to the hotel. Overall, it was a really relaxing stay."

"What a fabulous find. Superb swimming pool and pool bar. Toasted sandwiches at lunchtime were amazing. It's not a 5 star place BUT a great base to explore the area. No getting up early for sunbeds, most days we had the pool to ourselves! Ali, the owner always went above and beyond to make our stay a fabulous one! "

"We have had a great week here with an escorted tour. The hotel is great for a quiet time away. 8km from Kyrenia, which is a bustling city with many bars and restaurants. The staff are lovely, and very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable, although several things in our room didn’t work eg minibar fridge. There is a beach and swimming pool, although we didn’t use these. Food is acceptable, but vegetarian food limited to salads and mushroom pasta each night. We didn’t use these visit out of season, so there may be differences in busier times. We would definitely visit again."

"We went to Northern Cyprus to a Backgammon Tournament which was held at the Merit Park Hotel. Having never been to this area before we were amazed at how fantastic this hotel was both for hard working staff, the location and sea views. We helped ourselves to food three times a day and there was everything you could imagine to choose from. The pool area with three pools was superb for family. Unfortunately not many people in this area spoke English but due to our Translate phone app we had no problems. Will definitely be back there next year."
