The Mary Mount Hotel
"A very bad experience. The bathroom wasn't connected to the room, and there was no refrigerator, drinking water, or slippers. Both the room and bathroom were extremely cold, and the shower was incredibly small. The price didn't match the room rate at all, and the breakfast wasn't good. Fortunately, I only booked one night, so I had to make do with it!"
Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa
"This is a historic building that dates back to 1548 and has gone through 11 owners. Today it is a spa hotel The hotel sits on a large piece of land, with herds of cattle and sheep in front of the door. The restaurant on the other side has a great view of the lake and a large meadow. Rabbits and squirrels often jump around in the meadow and forest. You can reach the lake through a path, or you can hike in the forest. From the elevator, you can feel that the hotel has a sense of age. The spa has a constant-temperature swimming pool, a cold pool, a hot pool, and an outdoor hot pool, facing a large area of grass and woods, which is really pleasant. The only thing to note is: if you check out at 11 o'clock, you must go to the spa before checking out. After 11 o'clock, there will be an additional charge of 20 pounds per person."
Keswick Park Hotel
"Stayed for two days, booked separately in two reservations, detailed review in another post I saw Chinese people in the hotel team in the welcome letter, but I didn’t meet any this time (to be precise, I hardly met any Chinese people in Keswick. It is a good choice for quiet and leisure. I like Keswick very much"
Craglands Guest House
"Let down. I came here years ago and it was lovely. New owner insisted on an ETA, wanted to know my plans to arrange parking, insisted I leave my key somewhere if needed, said I had to pay cash, had to say if I wanted more than 1 sausage or 1 bacon… just intense … it just wasn’t a nice feeling. Breakfast was poor. Frozen bread I had to toast, cold bacon, defrosted fruit … old sauces and cereal. I couldn’t stomach it the last day and left early. Room was tired, different colour walls (!) and old fashioned. Beds were clean. Told room would be ‘serviced’ but only emptied the bin and our biscuits were out of date. It cost me £330 for 3 nights… I will never be back. Keswick is beautiful, this is not."
Glendale Guest House
"Ticks all the boxes✅ Central location ✅ Such a comfy bed ✅ Great hosts✅ Breakfast perfect ✅ Our second visit and it didn't disappoint ✅ Keswick such a beautiful place to visit, any time if the year 👍 We will be back when our legs have recovered from the fell walking👍"
Borrowdale Gates Hotel
"Fantastic stay in a stunning location. We were two couples staying for a couple of days walking in the Lakes. The Borrowdale Gates could not have been more perfect, in the heart of the beautiful valley with walks directly from the hotel. Delicious food, very comfortable and delightful service. Shanice on reception and Hazel in the restaurant particularly fabulous."
Premier Inn Keswick
"Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻Good location and close to town centre"
YHA Keswick
"Its the best for location and staff is so friendly 😊😊🩵🩵"
Salisbury Guest House
"Wonderful guesthouse in a great location. We were able to park our car right out front, and it's an easy walk to town and the lake. Matt was friendly, helpful, and hospitable, the room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and the guestbook was thoughtfully put together with lots of great tips for enjoying Keswick."

The Edwardene
"Lovely welcome, nice stay but unfortunately the room doesn’t qualify as habitable as the curtains are only useful for privacy, completely useless with daylight so you’ll have no choice but to be up at 4.30am"
Fellpack House
"Ideal location with ample parking"
Crow Park Hotel
"Everything is good. The decoration and furnishings of the hotel are very tasteful, and the service is old-school and warm."
Royal Oak Hotel
"Very nice last minute stay"
Dale Head Hall Lakeside Hotel
"Before reaching Keswick, the entrance is small and easy to miss. The hotel was converted from a 500-600-year-old house, and some rooms are dated. However, the view is lovely, the owner is friendly, and the breakfast is good."
Brookfield B&B Guest House
"We stayed in Room 4 which was clean with very comfy beds - just what we needed after walking catbells and the thirlmere loop. All I can say is Lorna the host is amazing. Nothing is too much and she will help in any way she can. Her breakfast is amazing and you can mix it up how you want. I particularly liked the fried bread!!! The special thing about this b and b is the little extras biscuits marshmallows every jam and chocolate spread you can think of. Snack bars for your walks. Just a really attentive host!!!"

CBH Lake District Castle Inn Hotel
"Greeted with a lukewarm warm reception upon arrival. No assistance offered to take the luggage to the room which was up three flights of stairs that got narrower towards the top. The breakfast server huffed and was visibly annoyed and upset when I dared to ask for a second coffee! I suggest that they invest in a coffee machine instead of serving single cup sized cafetières. The family room was a good size but had fairly low ceiling beams which were pointed out by 15 signs which made the room look more like a building site than a bedroom. No refrigerator in the room and the safe did not work. The location is around 6 miles from Keswick. Nice swimming pool but access via the door to the changing rooms does not work all of the time."
Royal Oak at Keswick
"The hotel is right in the center of town, and the bar downstairs has a fantastic atmosphere – perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and just relaxing. The 'Superior' rooms are quite spacious, but the 'Comfort' rooms are very cramped. The breakfast is definitely a highlight; the quality and taste are absolutely superb!"
Glaramara Hotel
Maple Bank Country Guest House
"I don’t think there is one thing that was lacking in this guest house. The attention to detail, the welcoming smile from Kate, the great breakfast, and position of the house were all excellent. Stayed for a few days so we were able to do some great things in the area - boat hire was great! Local pubs provided great meals too. Definitely 10/10"
Burnside B&B
"Sharon couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Sharon's homemade jams and marmalade were absolutely lovely. She also provided us with lots of useful information which helped us out a great deal. Sharon was such a lovely pleasant lady who made us feel very welcome and we would definitely go back."
