"The advantages of the hotel are a very good breakfast and dinner. Buffet. Very abundant. There are both seafood and local cuisine. Delicious. I would also like to note the traditional Marriott chain quality of bed. I slept great on it. The beach in this place is excellent. You can swim safely - the waves are not so strong. Everything is very picturesque if you go left and right. Now about the disadvantages. Unfortunately, there are more of them. The staff are very unpolite, you felt like you were not welcome here, they were doing you a favor. Fake smiles. On the day of check-out, a little after 12, for a few minutes the staff began knocking on the door and demanding to vacate the room. Is this worthy of such a hotel chain? When I tried to pay at the reception with a Union Pay card, the staff said that the terminal for Russian cards did not work. Although, in other places and hotels in Sri Lanka, everything worked without problems and it was possible to pay everywhere. I explain this behavior by lack of customer focus, which, again, is very strange for a hotel of such a chain as Marriott and for the service. I also want to note that this hotel did not have orthopedic pillows or any other pillows - when I tried to find out about this possibility, I was rudely told that there were no other pillows and that was all. In general, for the staff, service and their attitude - a big minus and a bad rating"

"We visited your property on the afternoon of the 13th. First of all, thank you for the warm welcome we received. I had requested an early check-in, and I truly appreciate that it was accommodated. The food and service were excellent throughout our stay. The swimming pool was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. Breakfast was especially impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options available. I do have one small suggestion. There was a spa price list available in the room, and I requested the à la carte menu as well. However, it took some time to receive it, probably because the hotel was fully occupied and the staff were quite busy. It would be helpful if a small menu could be placed in the room, similar to the spa price list. Alternatively, since guests receive a WhatsApp message with hotel details after check-in, the menu could also be shared through WhatsApp upon request. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely visit again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"My husband and I had 3 really wonderful days at the Pleasure Kosgoda. Really glad we stayed here. The rooms are spacious with stunning views of the ocean. The property has a great location right on the beachfront and what a fabulous beach it is. Blissfully empty. A joy to walk along. There is a little temple on the headland which is worth a visit. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is a relaxing place to be. Definitely not a place for night owls as they do close up very early in the evenings but this wasn’t a huge problem for us as we just took some beers and gin and tonics up to the room with us and relaxed on the balcony listening to the waves. We would very happily stay at the Pleasure Kosgoda again when we return to Sri Lanka next. Thank you 🙏 for a lovely time"

"What a beautiful place surrounded by some amazing wildlife monkeys,chipmunks,Eagles, Iguanas,and many more. The owner was friendly and helpful the staff were very nice.breakfast was nice well presented. Pool excellent very clean and relaxing. Now to a few things that could be improved First no fridge,No kettle, towels need updating as do pillows on bed , The place was clean just these small improvements would be very beneficial to the place. Word of warning don’t take old notes of any Denominations. I must give a massive thank you to the residents tuk tuk driver Nisanter he’s a breath of fresh air I wish the world had more people like him and it would be a better place."
