CLOUDS HOTEL Hotels in Kunming

I needed a place for a layover in Kunming and found this hotel near the train station, about a five-minute walk, which was very convenient for transportation. The area around the hotel was lively. Given the price was only 100 yuan, I couldn't expect too much, but it was clean, and the shower had good water pressure. However, the wallpaper on the walls definitely had a lot of mold. It would be great if they could do something about the wallpaper. Friendly tip: If you're coming from the airport on Line 2, don't get off at the train station. A staff member told me it's more convenient to get off one stop earlier. Breakfast was a simple pre-packaged milk and bread, which I didn't eat or take. Someone even called to follow up the next day. For a transit stay, at this price, what more could you ask for?

Excellent Stay with Great Comfort and Service I had a wonderful stay at Yunzhi Shang Hotel (Kunming Tongde Plaza Xiaocaiyuan Subway Station Branch) from 12–14 June 2026. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring Kunming. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with any questions or requests. The location is another major advantage, with the Xiaocaiyuan Metro Station nearby, making it convenient to travel around the city. There are also plenty of shops and eateries in the surrounding area, adding to the overall convenience. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kunming. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.
