"Perfect location for enjoying La Paz as it’s a brief ten minute walk away from the cable car station. We had mixed experience with the service. Some people were amazing, others much less so. Ever was our favourite person to speak to, but Manuel (the supervisor) made me feel quite uncomfortable. The room was amazing though, a big shoutout goes to Zdenka for doing amazing work day in day out to make our room spotless and perfect."

"Basically there is nothing provided by the hostel, no toilet paper, and even no Hotttt water for shower All the bed things look very old, and you can’t know if it is dirty or not, cos it coloured in dark You could clearly hear every noise outside, when it is located in a “bustling” area and without any soundproofing The reception helps to call a taxi for me, it was helpful, but originally they claimed it would charge 30 BOP, but eventually charged me 40 BOP, hate the way of lying…. Strongly not recommended"

"I have to say this was one of the most horrible hotel stays we have had in years of travel experience. We arrived to La Paz suffering from altitude illness and then were placed in a room surrounded by boisterous soccer teams partying hard. We asked to move to a different room but were told none were available. We contacted our travel agent who called the hotel and we were moved finally to a quieter room. Even so we could still hear them and they overtook the entire cafeteria for meals. The problem for the new room was that the traffic in this area of the city is constant and noisy with honking horns, reving engines, shouting people. If you open a window for air all you get is exhaust fumes. Additionally there are only fast food outlets around the hotel. Deep fried food is not great for nausea and altitude sickness. This experience and the altitude illness soured us on Bolivia. We won’t be back."

"This place was a shocker. Springs in mattress coming through, bathroom tiles cracked, thread bear towels, ordinary breakfast, no hot water some of the time. Okay location but just generally creepy. Wifi hardly worked and nothing like the description."

"The hotel is a very beautiful and secure area of the city, with large rooms (some of them are huge), clean, comfortable and staff is generally very available. There are also some foods packed for sale at the reception. The entry may be more "evident". There are no big signs to indicate it (see the photos to realize). To reach the ferry you need to walk a little bit, yet the area is served by taxis."

"It's an excellent hotel, and I loved that one day they came to my room and said, "We'd like to give you this complimentary gift," and it was a delicious little dessert with a card. It's the little touches that make all the difference and enhance the experience."

"This was my second stay. The first time I stayed in a single room, but this time I was given a twin room to myself. The room was clean, unlike the single room. The shower temperature was stable and very easy to use. I was allowed a late check-in, which helped me adjust my flight time. There wasn't much variety at breakfast. Well, it's Bolivia, so let's compromise."
