Montana Lodge & Spa, by R Collection Hotels ★★★★★

"A pleasant, well-designed hotel a little way out of town. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Friendly and efficient staff, but two serious negatives: The bar and restaurant are significantly over priced e,g. 10 euros for a tea bag and and a jug of water in the bar, no wine under 50 euros in the restaurant, a plate of charcuterie 45 euros. More seriously, at just the time that adults are returning from a day skiing or walking, the spa area is overrun with noisy children, turning the place into a playground. Relaxing it is not! Why aren’t children banned between 4pm and 6pm, the busiest time for adults? For these reasons I will not be returning to this hotel. If you are a family and don’t mind paying silly prices in the restaurant, the place is fine, but if you are a couple looking for a relaxing spa retreat in the mountains, forget it."

Hotel Chateau Blanc ★★★

"An opportunity lost. Great location close to the slopes and nice structure but the management has poor quality. Just to give some examples: complete confusion during the bookings, bottles of water half full in the fridge (by the previous consumer), they price you an amount and when you check out they ask you for another amount (more). Moquettes not completely clean but the best is when we found out room door completely opened with our big surprise they answered: “we thought someone in there” Great safety :) Hospitality is a serious thing and cannot be in the hands of persons that do not have a clue even if they try to do their job. Prices crazy in relation to the quality of the management."

TH la Thuile - Planibel Residence ★★★

"We lived there for a week. I really liked the apartments. 100m to the ski lift. Two rooms, two bathrooms, small kitchen. Everything you need is there. Large balcony. I really liked the resort itself, the skiing is excellent, Courmayeur and Aosta are nearby. In general, everything is great. Underground parking 12 euros per day."

Hotel Boton d'Or & Wellness a la Thuile ★★★

"Great hotel - very close to the ski lifts . Cheerful and helpful staff. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms . The hotel doesn’t offer dinners but there is a very good lounge where you can have a drink, play cards etc and bring in a take away pizza . There are good restaurants within 5-10 mins walk"

Le Miramonti Hotel Restaurant & Wellness ★★★★

"The staff at the Le Miramonti hotel is absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond for my family. I was traveling alone with 2 kids. My rental did not have winter tires and we got stock on the mountain heading to the hotel. The hotel staff organized a tow truck. They were in contact with me the entire time. When we finally made it to the hotel (we’ll after midnight), we were given food, water, etc. I am beyond grateful to the staff for their understanding and kindness. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, walking distance, all the restaurants and the slopes . They have a shuttle to the slopes, but we enjoyed the daily walk instead."

"A completely refurbished structure recently, very pleasant and located in the centre of the Thuile. There is a parking area. The price-quality ratio is very good. We go back with a code: no need for several keys if we are in family. Just next to the beer, we were very welcome in both places!"
