"We are a regular visitor to Crans Montana . We have loved staying at Hotel L'etrier any time the occasion has permitted. Our family also have stayed at Hotel L'Etrier several times. W have found the Hotel extremely family friendly and most welcoming. Rooms are very comfortable and their suites are just beautiful . My husband and I stayed there last week and had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay there. We find that the Hotel has every comfort and facility available for us to enjoy our time. The barman was always around should you need to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea or coffee etc. sitting in the bar area's comfortable sofas with magnificent view of the mountains. There is a nice heated Swimming pool and Sauna . We have found the staff friendly and helpful. Being mostly local, means that they are full of local knowledge of the area in case you will need assistance in exploring the wider area. For our very private meal there is a warm wooden Chalet located by the poolside which we could reserve for a meal for 6 (maximum 8 I believe) for lovely Grills, or a fondue Chinoise or Cheese fondue etc. This we have found in the past to be a unique experience for an evening dinner en-famille. We shall go back there again any time . A great thank you to all at Hotel L' Etrier who made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable."

"We had a very nice stay in this warm hotel with very welcoming staff and great care for its customers. The hotel is very well located, close to the tourist office, the ice rink, the terraces, restaurants, and right opposite the bakery. We also took advantage of the spa (sauna + hamam) included in the price of the reservation. Very clean and well appointed room."

"We had an excellent stay. The rooms were lovely, very clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. The location very good and central. Parking was included in our voucher, which was great. We ate in the sister hotel restaurant "Pas de l'Ours" and the food and service was great."

"The hotel is majestic! The architecture is truly extraordinary. The view from the rooms - WOW! Personally, I didn't like much the dinner menu and the options for vegetarians. They took 'ages' to bring us the check after dinner. However, the breakfast options are very good! Thank you"

"The hotel itself is in a great location and has a fantastic view. The spa and gym are wonderful as is the food for breakfast. The rooms are basic but the beds are distinctly seperate beds, so even when placed together, it does not make for comfortable sleep as a couple. The bathrooms lack basic amenities like conditioner, which was odd. Most upsetting, the hotel had organised a taxi to the train station early on the morning of our departure and they simply forgot, which caused a lot of stress. It’s still a good hotel but I would probably check elsewhere first before returning."
