"The room was fine, very clean, needed cleaning, called for toiletries, and the service was good. The swimming conditions were excellent, the beach had small waves, the pool was large and the water was warm, and the food by the pool was good. The only downside was that the sea view room could only see the bay, not the distant sea. In short, it was a good choice for vacation."

TIP Top Motel

"For this island one of the cheaper options, still actually too expensive for the "quality" you get. In itself clean room, only the tap in the bathroom did not work so we had to be in the shower every time for water. There were also some shady figures hanging around the accommodation which made us feel not completely safe. This was probably unnecessary, in any case nothing happened. Also had a cockroach in the room, but that is probably not easy to prevent with the humid weather on an island. If you have the air conditioning on you can hardly hear each other, but without it gets very stuffy. A fan above the bed would be a nice addition."

Marriott's Kaua'i Beach Club

"It's rather old. The main issue is that the photos make it seem like there's a sofa and a bed, but the bed is actually a pull-down wardrobe bed with the sofa cushions removed. The air conditioner is very loud, and the sea view is obstructed."

"The rooms are honestly the best of class for a Marriott resort property. It makes sene that this hotel was built as a Ritz Carlton residence. The views are spectacular and the terrace is great. We had an issue when we checked in and Candee R. was very understanding and immediately resolved the problem. Great service. No restaurant on property to our family is a plus because it forces you to explore the local area and sample the great restaurants. The resort is perfect for relaxation and turning off your cell phones."
