"We arrive yesterday just for a weekend with our kids. 2 and 6 years. We want calm and rest. We have the most expensive suite which is in 5th floor. Unfortunately in 6th fooor there is a sky sauna. So from 6:10am they throwing with chairs, and things and everything was heard. So me, my wife and also both kids are awake from 6:20am. Perfect…. That’s the only thing what we want and its : SLEEPING!!! 2years old daughter is jumping on my head from 6:20 and its only because this terrible sauna spot with rude staff!…. I could stay at home and go to work, I awake at 7:00am home so I will sleep better also with kids…"

"We stayed here on the journey and arrived without any special expectations. We left the Mettner courtyard with a sense of enthusiasm. About the heartfulness of the boss, the cleanness of the accommodation and especially about one of the best dinner ever. The rooms are simply furnished and decorated with love for the detail. We have slept wonderfully. At our stay, the breakfast buffet was unsafe. So we must come back again. Because if breakfast is only half as delicious as what we served for dinner in the beer garden, the long way is worth it. The price-performance ratio was absolutely ok. I can recommend the Mettner court in any case."

"We booked the Rottaler Zimmer mit balcony and half board for two nights. Free parking once you find the parking lot. Received information at check in and a welcome drink of prosecco in the beautiful lobby. The room was a lovely mix of rustic and modern with a nice balcony looking out to the pool and sauna barn! Bathrobes, pool towels and slippers provided in a nice carry basket for at hotel/spa use. Well outfitted bathroom. No kettle in room. Included in the room rate is a ‘heated’ outdoor pool (quite chilly) and the sauna barn which includes dry, wet, bio, Finnish and bread saunas, along with showers, tea and water station, a polar bear head spitting out ice and several relaxation areas. The pool expects a bathing suit while the saunas don’t allow! The sauna barn is really good, and big enough you don't feel crowded. It's quiet both outside hotel overnight but you can hear everything from the hallways. There is no air circulation in the room; only a radiator heater (turned off) and the balcony door (which we left open). Still so warm and stuffy in October; poor sleep. I can’t imagine what it’s like in warmer weather?! You are assigned a table in the dining room and that’s where you go for all your meals. For half board you have to order your dinner at breakfast. It feels very school dorm and doesn’t match the price tag of the “4 star superior” hotel. We had the misfortune of arriving on a day where only a buffet was offered for half board dinner. The “Bavarian Buffet” included salad bar, cold selections, very limited hot selections, cheese course and a served dessert. It was adequate but many items were VERY salty. The next evening's menu dinner started with self-serve salad bar, self-serve soup, then your preordered main (choice of 5) and dessert (choice of 2) are served. The food quality was okay, the waiter was pleasant and we enjoyed the evening. There are two dining rooms each with their own breakfast buffet; the one at the back is larger with better selection and at least a meager offering of hot dishes compared to none at the front room, so go to that one even if your table is at the front - we did. When the waiter asked if we wanted coffee and I asked for a cappuccino he said I could make my own! Not what I would expect from a “4 star superior” hotel."

"terrible old fashioned room like in 1970s, dirty carpets, no central air conditioning so all the windows have to be open -＞ you can hear every noises from the othervrooms. NO sleep! At 6 am corridor doors are opened and shut 60 times per hour loudly. Rooms are facing to a painted wall, peeling off badly. The pictures in booking do not reflect thevreal condition if the rooms. When I complainedvand asked for another room they charged me 40 eur to an upgrade they said I booked a std double room. Thisis not a 4 star hotel, but rather a motel or so. Even if the wellness have lot of facilities this hotel with these rooms are simply unacceptable."

"This was our second time here this year, and funnily enough, we stayed in the same room as in March. And once again, everything was fantastic... the entire complex was very well-maintained, the room was outstanding and clean, the spa and wellness area was unique, breakfast and dinner were perfect... what more could you want? Eugenio, with whom I tried to speak Spanish every now and then, was the ultimate "host" of the pool bar... always cheerful and accommodating! I celebrated my birthday at the Park Hotel, and in our room, we were surprised to find a bottle of sparkling wine in a champagne cooler and two glasses (thank you so much). It was funny that the congratulations weren't addressed to me, but to my wife (she also received personal congratulations at the beautifully decorated table :-) ). All in all... we'll be back, see you soon!"

"Best location. Very central, but still located in a quiet side street lined with deciduous trees. No traffic noise. The rooms are relatively simple, but clean. You have to look at the good price-performance ratio. If you're looking for a luxury hotel, you have to be prepared to spend more money. I was really happy at the "Unter den Linden". Kitchen OK; well-kept garden with lawn and terrace areas; elevator; thermal baths."
