"On the way back to Shanghai from Zhangzhou, I asked Doubao to recommend some less crowded and scenic spots along the way. Doubao recommended the Longqiyuan Fangcaodi Hotel in Wenzhou. The hotel environment was truly wonderful, nestled against the mountains and beside the water, incredibly quiet and comfortable. Staying there was so relaxing, it felt like a real vacation. The receptionist was incredibly attentive and helpful, even giving us three free tickets to the Longqiyuan Scenic Area – such a pleasant surprise! The stay also included complimentary tickets to the hot springs and sauna. After a long day of sightseeing, a soak or a sauna was so relaxing. There was also a fireworks display and bonfire party in the evening. The only downside was the food: we ate at the hotel both nights, but one dish we ordered – braised pork knuckle – was too tough and chewy. Perhaps due to the holiday crowds, the staff helped us get a refund. Overall, we were very satisfied. 😄"
