Azur Hotel Volos

Azur Hotel Volos ★★★★

📍 Ag. Nikolaou 3, Volos

"Location of the hotel is perfect, next to the port, but if you prefer sea view make sure you book a room with it. Breakfast could be a bit more rich, but it's still satisfying. Rooms are new, super clean and beautiful."

Hotel Hani Zisi

Hotel Hani Zisi ★★

📍 Hania, Hania

"Unfortunately, there was a big problem with the fireplace. In the hour that I was able to sit down (because I assumed it was something temporary), I found that the entire 1st floor had a big problem, since it was leaking smoke! When I asked the hotel if there was another room that wasn't leaking, the answer was negative, and the reason for the problem was that it was leaking because "wind is blowing and we can't do anything about it"!!!! Unfortunately for the hotel managers, I work for a technical company and have (also) worked on chimney installations. Therefore, I know that when the chimney is leaking smoke, it's not the wind's fault! Quite simply, either the construction is wrong or the chimney has not been maintained. Too bad, because the place seemed to be about the same as the photos, even if the room (triple) needed a renovation, while the tavern outside looked amazing. I say it seemed because I didn't sit down to eat, of course. Finally, the manager, in addition to writing me down in a place where ink doesn't get caught in my remarks about the tobacco, almost shouted at me (classic behavior of a Greek "businessman" when he doesn't need the customer) because I told him that I would delay leaving a little until I found another place to stay. And because I didn't want to "poison" (literally, because I have respiratory problems, and figuratively) my vacation any more, I got up and left. My "poisoning" cost me an overnight stay, as is also provided for by the hotel's policy. I was expecting something better because of the inconvenience, since I finally found somewhere to stay in the afternoon, and not in the mountains of course, but we said, it was August 15th and they didn't need us, so..."

📍 Regional Road Volou - Portarias, Portaria

"We had a horrible moment when arriving at this hotel. Staff was unexperienced, not expetienced, ,saying there where not responsible for any problem..leading the peoblems to «  manager » . Please avoid tjos place! Neveg again!!! To sad because the location is beautifull,"

Portaria Hotel

1910 Lifestyle Hotel ★★★★

📍 & 54th Sintagmatos Elas, Dimitriados 25, Volos

"The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10 minute walk from the port. The room is small but clean and tidy. Breakfast is good, and the view is excellent. I booked a sea-view room, which indeed offers a nice sea view, but it is also next to the road, so it can be a bit noisy at night."

Pilio Sea Horizon Hotel
8.0 (5 reviews)

Pilio Sea Horizon Hotel ★★★★

📍 Tsagkarada, Mouresi

"We enjoyed our stay at Pilion Sea Horizon -- it is exactly what its name says. The location and view from the restaurant is unbeatable and the staff go above and beyond to take care of the guests. We especially appreciated the clean pool and nice layout of the hotel over a hill that feels like a village in itself. Wi-fi worked well throughout our stay and we had everything we needed in the room. All in all, a relaxing stay for a very reasonable price. We hope to come back!"

Gastronomy Hotel Kritsa

Gastronomy Hotel Kritsa ★★★

📍 CENTRAL SQUARE, Portaria

"Needing to catch an early ferry from Volos and not finding anything suitable in town, we decided to stay at Hotel Kritsa in Portaria having seen other good reviews online. We were not disappointed! The hotel and restaurant are nestled on the main square in the centre of the village. Our room was comfortably furnished with a little balcony overlooking the square. We had a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and air-conditioning (a must when temperatures are in the late 30s) The staff were really friendly especially Elein and we ate at the restaurant in the evening. Food was fantastic. With a very early start we didn’t get to sample the breakfast which everyone raves about however they kindly made up a pack-up for us. Great value and a lovely hotel"

Manthos Mountain Resort & Spa Hotels in Magnesia Prefecture

Manthos Mountain Resort & Spa

"If you are looking for a destination that combines comfort, hospitality and natural beauty, then Manthos Hotels Mountain Resort & Spa in Pelion is an ideal choice. Our stay there was extremely pleasant and unforgettable. From the first moment we distinguished the warmth and kindness of the staff. Everyone was helpful and willing to help us with our every need, making us feel at home. Special mention deserves Mrs. Kiki at the reception, who was always available, with a smile and a real desire to serve. Our room was clean, comfortable and offered peace and relaxation. The breakfast was rich and tasty, with a variety of options that satisfy all tastes. In the restaurant, Mr. Grigoris stood out for his professionalism and kindness, as did all the staff, who contributed to our beautiful experience. We would like to warmly thank everyone for the hospitality and say with certainty that we will return! Manthos Hotels is a jewel in Pelion that is worth visiting."

Valis Resort Hotel Hotels in Magnesia Prefecture

Valis Resort Hotel

"We booked this resort in order to relax abd spend quality time as a family but must say we are very dissapointed. Rooms are lovely spacious but need to refurbish asap. Pool and pool area its dirty and very bussy. Breakfast its absolutely horrible. Cheapest quality of everything. Safest is to eat bread and butter. Breakfast coffe its undrinkable. Definately not a 5 * experience. And in all honesty not even 3 * Gym its a joke, indoor pool doesnt feel clean as well. Surely not a 5 *"

"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. Thank you very much to Anna, the receptionist, who led me to the bus stop the morning!"

Despotiko Hotels in Magnesia Prefecture

Despotiko

"For 4 stars enough satisfactory .... The rooms are too hot we completely shut down the heating at 17 degrees the lowest and did not turn on ... breakfast buffet perfect, but if you want to get another coffee other than French it was an extra charge while normally It is inside ... nice view but quite high as a location with a walk up 10' .... if it is by car it goes, but the aisle is very narrow and there is a ground floor parking in the hotel."

Volos Inn Hotel Hotels in Magnesia Prefecture

Volos Inn Hotel

"The hotel is located in the centre of Volos near the church of Sainte Costantino and Elena. The hotel is modern and includes only 16 rooms with different metropolitan facilities. The room which I have been allocated is on the top floor and has, in addition to the air conditioner and TV, a kitchen corner, a refrigerator and everything necessary to prepare a fast food. The bathroom also has a small washing machine, while the chairs and tables are available in the balcony. The hotel's hall is not very large and also serves as breakfast room, which is tendency to salad, but of good quality The hotel offers eight free car seats. The staff is kind, but a special thank you are especially given to the receptionist, always available to provide information on the locations and beaches to visit and the restaurants in the area. The strengths of the structure are: the proximity to the city's interest sites, the quality-price ratio, the sound-soiling of the rooms, cleaning and care care for every detail, which makes everything appear new even if it isn't that. Finally, a very important aspect for me, the lack of moquettes in any environment. If I had to return to Volos I would certainly book again here!!"

Tasia Mountain Hotel Hotels in Magnesia Prefecture

Tasia Mountain Hotel

"The hotel was centrally located for visiting both the east and west coasts of the northern area of the Pelion peninsula, (an area known for its winding roads which take a long time to get around). It was also spotlessly clean & comfortable and the breakfast superb. However, what makes this hotel really special is the warm, family atmosphere created by Anastasia who does everything she can to make your stay extra special. We would give her 15 out of 10 if we could! There is nothing to dislike but customers should be aware that out of season, there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity and we therefore profited from Anastasia's snack menu each evening."

"We had a lovely spacious sea facing room with a balcony. Beware that the city facing rooms looked very small. We were on the 3rd floor and there is a terrific rooftop open-air bar on the same floor. An excellent breakfast was included and it’s a half mile/one kilometer walk to the marina/downtown area. I highly recommend it if you’re in Volos!"

"It was a great vocation for us. The view and beaches are incredible. Room was a authentic style stone building. we found a comfort in our room. The hotel manager is a very kind man we would like to thanks for the hospitality and the staffs are kind and always helpful. we were near the pool. our kid went to pool whenever he wanted. The nearest beach milopotamos is 2.5 km away (it has 2 restaurants and 2 cafes) and a furthest beach papa nero (many restaurants and cafes) is 20 km away. beach and a crystal clear water is amazing. To reach the hotel you have to pass 50 km mountain road and it takes about 2 hours. this is the most annoying thing. roads are narrow and hard to drive. you have to drive slowly. the worst thing in our holiday was the curvy narrow roads. other than that it was a great experience for us. we would like to go there again."
