"This was the low point of our trip. The place was dark and cold when we checked in (50ºF inside) around 5 pm. The central radiator heat system was off. She took us to our colder room and when asked about heat, she turned on the AC to cool at 22ºc. After she left I reset it to heat and we left for dinner. We came back to power outage, no heat, cold room. The room was only 2 ft wider than the double bed. No place for suitcases. She suggested we leave them in the car and only bring in what we needed. The bed was lumpy, and we slept in our clothes with 6 blankets. Around 9:30 pm the power came on and the room was somewhat warm by 4 am. Bathroom was clean but small. no place to put anything. Closest place for dinner was in Manteigas (actually a good meal at the pizzeria) Breakfast was ok, but not special."

"The bed could be more comfortable; the pillows are too high, and the plastic bed protector makes it uncomfortable every time someone moves. The bathroom, besides shower gel and shampoo, has no other amenities. The breakfast was good. The indoor pool, although reservations are required, was full of families and children. The sauna wasn't working properly. The staff were very friendly and always helpful, but a 4-star hotel costing €180/night leaves something to be desired in terms of amenities."
