"I liked the hotel and its facilities. I lost my phone in Mardin and the reception helped me find it technically. I have only one complaint. I bought this hotel through Trip.com. But the reception kept telling me that a reservation was made and payment was not received. They claimed that I did not pay even though I showed them my credit card statement and the screenshot I took from the trip application as PAID. There is obviously a systemic non-contact situation that has nothing to do with me. The receptionist tried to charge a credit card registered on the internet without my permission and when she could not receive payment, she said that my credit card was not valid. I made the payment through the application once and did not allow it to be recorded. I did not make a reservation as a prepayment, I paid in full, why would I record my credit card in the system and connect it. We encountered this problem when we entered the hotel, they did not solve it and when we left, they came again with the same statement and insisted that we did not pay even though we tried to say that we would catch the plane. The only thing that overshadowed my hotel stay was this lack of communication. If you make a payment from this hotel through another intermediary and purchase a service, be sure to keep the statements and screen recordings showing that you made the payment, you will not be able to justify yourself later."

"The location is a little hard to find, but there is a sign that looks like the entrance just off the bus road. If you call the phone number written there, they will come to pick you up, so it wasn't a problem. I chose the room-selection plan, and they assigned me a room with a good view, which was great. Even if you stay in a room without a view, the view from the shared terrace is amazing. The room was clean, and the breakfast menu was slightly different every day, so I had a very comfortable stay. The staff were also very kind and helpful, showing me how to ride the bus and other things. The tea and coffee we had on the shared terrace was also exceptional. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Mardin."

"If we were to ask what the biggest expectation from a hotel is, we would think of a place where the fatigue of the day can pass peacefully and pleasantly. We were staying on the 6th floor, and the noise started around 6-7 pm and continued until 1-2 am. From 5-6 am until noon, there was constant noise. Imagine the noise from the restaurant on the 8th floor, and even worse for those staying on the 7th floor. The noise was also constant because it's on the main street, with honking horns and car noises continuing until morning. As for the rooms, I would never recommend them to small families or friends with babies. There's no place for the baby to sleep, nor for you; they've also provided a separate shower and toilet area, which is awful. Parking wasn't a problem though. Unfortunately, it didn't deserve the price at all; we regretted it and would never recommend it. The only positive aspect was the staff's good intentions and friendliness. Also, if it's not all-inclusive, they charge 900 per person for breakfast. 0 points. Check the photos I uploaded."

"It is a small boutiqe hotel in a nice location in old town. We stayed in the biggrst room with balcony. The weird thing was the entrance of the room. You entered the toilet and shower first which was a bit weird and uncomfortable. otherwise the staff was friendly and helpfull but i found the price high when compared to the standart of the hotel."

"If you have children or prams then think twice before booking. If you have luggage then again think twice. If you like to hike then its ideal for you. I found the hotel difficult to get too winding stairs quite a lot to go up and down to getbto the hotel. I found the triple room very damp and the bathroom even more. It felt like an medieval dungeon."

"It's in a very beautiful location in the middle of Old Mardin. The room was nice and the view from the terrace was amazing. (The room photos seem to be the same for all room plans, so it's probably best to check with the hotel in advance to make things smoother.) The shower was easy to use and the hairdryer was powerful. The breakfast was also sufficient. There were obviously more side dishes than I could eat, so I ended up leaving a lot of them every morning, which I felt was a waste. I wish we could only take what we needed... Also, although this may be difficult in Turkey, it would be nice if the breakfast venue was non-smoking. The only disappointment was that everyone, including the staff, smoked indoors, so I couldn't relax in the shared spaces. However, there were no other issues, and the location and atmosphere were really great, so it was definitely a comfortable hotel."

"As a solo-female traveler staying alone, one evening the door to my hotel room suddenly opened and a male staff member came in while I was not available / not in a suitable situation. What’s more, there was a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door and music playing inside. It triggered my safety concerns enormously. In a hotel where I paid 120 euros for two nights (at 3,000 TL per night) — a place considered relatively good compared to its alternatives, a scandal like a man being able to enter my room out of nowhere is unacceptable. They say the reception told him the room was empty. I also left feedback for management. I remember locking the door as well, unless a master key/card can open it directly. Even if I somehow missed locking it, this is still an unacceptable situation. Yes, the location is very good and the rooms are warm in winter, and they did apologize but what made me even angrier was that, after I had already paid and had breakfast, while I was making small talk with another staff member during checkout. He said, “I wish you’d delete that comment.” Instead of acknowledging that I’m the victim, they were basically explaining how I had made them the victim. As men, they clearly cannot empathize with me at all. For this reason, I decided to move my review to Tripadvisor. The emotional pressure they put on me to delete my comment is unacceptable"
