Banda Lodge
"Always the same problem with the reception. We came for work for 5 nights, we had a problem that kept us in another city and the manager forced us to pay for 5 nights instead of the 4 we had even though the hotel was half empty. Be very careful when paying. Never book in advance at this establishment. It's a shame because the hotel was really very nice and the other staff members too...."
Maple Leaf Hotel
"The service was so good and everything so clean. The breakfast too was delicious. I will stay there again when I am in Masaka."
La Roza Resort Masaka
Masaka Cultural Resort
"The place is so beautiful, with lots of activities, rooms mostly family room was spacious enough, comfortable beds, view was so amazing, weekend the noise is too much, staff are too slow they need training though very friendly. The food was too good mostly the fish."
Solo Hites Hotel
"Our stay was excellent. The accommodation was very good, the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive and the food was very good. The facilities on offer were excellent - the sauna, steam room and gym.We would recommend the Solo Hites Hotel if staying in Masaka."
Hollandia Hotel
"Paradise on a mountain. Near the village of Bukomansimbi this hotel is situated on top of a green mountain of 30 hectares. 360 degrees beautiful kilometers far view over the surrounding plains. Nice outdoor terrace with seating in the shade around the hotel. Very motivated and friendly staff, always ready for a great service. Delicious menu at very reasonable prices, served in the restaurant or on the terrace. Nice, comfortable rooms with a great view for miles. Safaris in the wilderness and or on the river Nile can be booked at the hotel. Ready for a super relaxed stay around the corner of Lake Victoria."
Garden Courts Hotel Masaka
"I travelled to this hotel on the 30th of October and was booked for 3 nights checking out on the 2nd of November 2023. I stayed in room 504 and every thing was in perfect functional state. I had warm baths all the time, my lighting was fine, WIFI connectivity was good, the intercom worked fine and the housekeeping did a commendable job on a daily. The reception staff was very cheerful and professional while attending to me and the restaurant staff was very attentive and helpful every time i went there to have my meals. Ruth, Flavia and Steven at the restaurant stood out and food was very tasty and fresh. My best dish was chicken tikka...oh my God, you need to taste this one when you visit the hotel. The entire reception team headed by Barbra was amazing. Cleopatra who welcomed me with all smiles and checked me in, to Yusuf and Aloysius, i can only say thank you for making my stay memorable and worthwhile. Chris the general manager ensured that i was as comfortable as could be all the time. Finally, the ambiance, lush gardens and the green all around just brings back life to every tired and broken soul. I totally recommend this hotel to everyone travelling and planning to stay in Masaka whether for business, holiday or otherwise, it offers value for your money and much more. Thank you Garden Courts Hotel Masaka, I will surely be back!"
Hotel Brovad Masaka
"I was in Hotel Brovad Masaka for one night, noted a few things; 1. The big note pinned to the back of the door inside the room warning customers not to leave valuable items in room left unsettled, I almost checked out that night. Screening employees to **** out thieves is hard but its a process and eventually pays off, obviously Brovad is leaving it to the customers to sort themselves. We pay for comfort and security. Hajat pls note and do the needful! 2. A hanging old shower curtain that couldnt prevent water from spilling over, no sandles in room, no bath rugs....... obviously having a shower was messy. These are simple things that are ignored or just not reported. Those who do rounds should note this. 3. The dead phone/intercom in the room with no sign of operation for a while was another....if i needed to call for something in the night, i would have had to look for the phone number online!"
