"It's across the street from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach. The night view is beautiful, and in the morning you can see crabs and mudskippers on the rocks. You can wade across the water to reach the small island."

Coral Beach Hotel

"We stayed as a couple from April 12th to 17th. The staff was very friendly, and the view from the window was stunning. There's a café downstairs that barely disturbed us, except for the occasional smells from the kitchen. The hotel's location was great: the walk to the main street is shaded by trees, where you might spot chipmunks, and you can stop at the restaurant for coffee under a tree. After Mirisa, we drove to Hikkaduwa and appreciated the peace and tranquility. The room wasn't very comfortable. There's no place to put suitcases, no closet, coat hooks are nailed above the nightstand with a kettle, and there's only one chair. Room cleaning is available upon request; we requested daily cleaning. Beach towels are also available upon request. The room includes two bottles of water, tea, and coffee."

"The room was absolutely spotless, and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Assisted quite late in the evening with an urgent request. The bathroom facilities were great, especially the shower. Location was perfect for our very early start (5 minutes to the port for whale watching). Couldn't recommend highly enough, absolutely excellent!"

"Coastal Villa Mirissa is not suitable for families. 1. The property is located far from the main road, with a very narrow, dark, and somewhat shady access path, especially at night. 2. There are too many mosquitoes, which makes the stay uncomfortable. 3. The air conditioning does not work properly and does not cool as expected. 4. The ceiling fan appears unsafe and feels like it may fall while running. 5. There are a lot of flies around during meals, making it unpleasant to eat. 6. There is no proper dining area available. 7. Spider in mosquito net. The only positive aspect is Mr. Tushar, who genuinely tries to resolve issues single-handedly. Unfortunately, the property seems understaffed, and despite his efforts, the overall experience remains poor."
