"We stayed here for one night. The hotel is a bit old, but generally clean. The staff were polite. Breakfast was very tasty (omelette, toast, butter and jam, coffee/tea, fruit, pancakes, yogurt). Cons: There were small stains on the pillows, a moldy smell in the bathrooms, and the air conditioning only blew cold air with no temperature control. However, this didn't spoil our stay."

"Pleasant enough stay in a tired looking hotel Lovely beach front location in fact it’s the location that really is the best part of this hotel. It’s a nearly but not quite. Pictures show the rusty bathroom accessories and an uncleaned fridge from the previous guests. Stained bedside lampshade. The safe in the room didn’t work. There were no waste bins in the room just a v small one in the bathroom. Door out to balcony warped and difficult to open. We were there two nights but our room was not cleaned. Perhaps we should have asked ? Having said all that the price paid reflects that this is not a top lines hotel. Would recommend as the price is reflective of the tiredness of this hotel and as stated a very good location Ate here on our last night and chose fresh fish grilled with French fries. Sitting out on the beach eating fresh cooked fish was lovely. We booked a queen room with sea view. Mosquito net difficult to stretch over the bed as the headboard was stuck firmly to the wall creating gaps in the net. Also whilst we had a lovely balcony view note it is noisy from the beach bar music below till the early hours. Not an issue for us but may be for some. Giving 3 stars as the price paid recognises all these faults and location is great. Note : Hotel reception GBP/LKR rate was 320 for exchange. Exchange place over the road gave us 390 !!!! Don’t exchange money at the hotel."

"A very pleasant, clean hotel. A quiet, comfortable room, a very peaceful location—no noisy roads nearby, quiet neighbors. The room has a good shower. The hotel has a small kitchen. The hosts were very attentive; they met us late at night upon our arrival, explained everything, and checked us in. The large Mirissa beach is about a 15-minute walk away. It's about a 5-minute walk to the main road, where there are shops and the Ikiri cafe, which is open until midnight."

Himesh reached out immediately after our booking and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions, helping us make the most of our time in Mirissa. Sanjana was always responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful, while Anjana went above and beyond by personally guiding us to Secret Beach and other hidden gems in the area. What makes this place stand out is the genuine warmth of this family-run establishment. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and were treated like family throughout our stay. A special mention goes to their mother, whose delicious homemade breakfast was one of the highlights of our visit. The property itself is spotless, modern, peaceful, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including excellent Starlink internet. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the hospitality is second to none. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mirissa. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to returning in the future."

"We were satisfied with our stay at Sailors Mirissa. People working at the hotel are friendly and helpful. There is a beach across the road, and next to the hotel there is a pretty cheap cafe with a rather delicious food. The rooms might be clean if you ask them to do it. What is more, you have to change towels yourself. But it wasn’t a big deal for us. Really content to stay there."
