The owner was very welcoming and gave us a free room upgrade. The boiler was also turned on/ready.

My flight was delayed, so I didn't arrive at the hotel until almost 10 PM. The owner waited up for us until then so we wouldn't go hungry. I thought we'd be lucky to get anything to eat, but to my surprise, the meal was quite substantial and filling. The Amur River is literally right behind the property! As for the hotel facilities, they had everything you could need. It definitely deserves a star rating, especially for a border town. P.S. The owner looks a lot like a movie actor.

The family running MoKe Inn were incredibly welcoming. Although the accommodation is simple, it's very clean. The owner even arranged for us to have Ms. Guan, a lovely driver, who meticulously and thoughtfully introduced us to all the sights, local customs, and important tips along the way. She made our spontaneous 'trip to the North' with my husband full of surprises. We saw snowflakes, the starry sky, and even shooting stars! Next time, we'll plan a longer stay to really unwind and relax.

I'm quite particular about cleanliness, so after comparing several options, I chose Beihong Village Mobei Homestay. The first thing I did upon entering the room was smell it and touch the sheets and duvet covers. No strange odors, no stains – very clean! The sheets and duvet covers were pure cotton, excellent quality, and the cotton quilt was comfortable and warm. The landlady is very diligent! Normally, I bring my own disposable items when I travel, but this time I was pleasantly surprised. The landlady was so thoughtful; she provided bath towels and even disposable bath towels. It felt as warm as home. My child didn't bring enough warm clothes for winter, and the landlady prepared a padded jacket for her, which was incredibly touching! The house is right by the river, where you can see the aurora borealis. If you're lazy, afraid of the dark, or cold, you can just watch from the window. Mobei was the only homestay I booked for this trip, and it's the place I least wanted to leave. Staying here was pure bliss. Thank you, landlady, for your warm hospitality! I'll definitely be back, and next time, I'm going to try the landlady's cooking!

For my trip to Mohe, I chose to stay in Beihong Village, truly the northernmost village. When booking a guesthouse, I wasn't sure which one to pick, but I ended up going with this one because of its high ratings and closer proximity to the border river. The owner is very down-to-earth and not at all petty, a typical Northeasterner. As soon as we arrived, she mentioned we should have called so she could have picked us up. Knowing our limited travel time and that we'd miss the bus to Arctic Village and Mohe, she helped us arrange a private car. She smartly planned our sightseeing, making sure we saw everything we wanted without having to wake up early, which gave us a lot more flexibility. She also offered many helpful suggestions. The owner is an excellent cook, and my parents absolutely loved her food. When we ran out of rice, she offered steamed buns, and the portions were generous. When we left, she helped us with our luggage. All in all, it was a great stay. Interestingly, the owner also has Russian heritage, which added a nice touch.

Excellent. Parking is super convenient thanks to the spacious courtyard right at the entrance. There's also a small back exit that leads directly to the Longjiang River, and it was very pleasant to take a stroll along the riverbank, especially with the temperature being only 15°C.

Our room was clean and spacious. The owner was incredibly warm and gracious. The best part is that the backyard opens directly onto the Heilongjiang River. Highly recommended!

The owner is truly one of those unforgettable Chinese women you absolutely *have* to meet in your lifetime, haha! The grandma and grandpa were also incredibly warm and welcoming. Guests can cook their own meals, and all the vegetables are home-grown. Breakfast, which costs just 10 RMB per person, includes corn porridge, pancakes, pickled vegetables, and eggs. It's very wholesome and healthy.

The proprietress was incredibly warm and hospitable, showing the characteristic generosity and open-heartedness of people from Northeast China. The room was clean and tidy, and there were plenty of dining options nearby, so we didn't have to worry about food. The nights were also very quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. Plus, there are many unique spots in the area perfect for sightseeing and photos.
