Tenuta Monacelle ★★★★
"This is a wedding and events hotel so if you want a peaceful or restful break - go elsewhere. The first night there was a wedding so dinner was very noisy with poor service and very poor food. Our second night there was a very noisy party which made dinner very unpleasant - still very poor food. The staff were mostly surly and unhelpful (exceptions being the dark-haired lady serving in the restaurant and Sante and Florian at reception who were charming and very helpful). The breakfasts were not great and there was often no fresh fruit at the buffet unless you asked them to get some, which they did unwillingly. Housekeeping poor - we were given a sachet with 2 single tissues for 2 of us to last 4 nights, 1 small tube of strong cherry body wash and 2 tiny soaps. The bathroom smelt of drains and the shower fittings were coming off the wall. Curtais very thin and stained, hairdryer really poor (only got to lukewarm). Other members of our group had to change rooms because of problems - one couple changed TWICE !! Generally very poor. You have been warned."
Al Console Luxury Suite ★★★★
"What an amazing place to stay. We stayed in room 101 with Sea views from bathroom and sofa area. We didn’t hear any noise I The 4 nights we stayed but the hotel kindly provide ear plugs (we didn’t need them). The bed was very comfortable and aircon was great. The Rooftop is lovely and the Location couldn’t be better The only thing to note if you have limited mobility is that there is no lift. Also if you are after privacy in the bathroom just to note that one of the rooms (without sea view) have see through glass on the bathroom. Both Nino and Beatrice were lovely and super helpful. We had a fabulous stay and would return again."
Palazzo Indelli ★★★★
"Super nice location!"
Palazzo Murat B&B ★★★★
"Absolutely lovely accommodation in Monopoli. The room was very spacious and beautifully appointed with real attention paid to maintaining the character of the building; huge, high stone ceilings and lovely alcoves ingeniously turned into hanging space. Breakfast on the upstairs patio was very nice (English tea!) both hosts were helpful, friendly and very welcoming. All in all just wonderful and highly recommended. Monopoli is really worth a visit; the old town is great for just wandering + loads of great bars and shops. We had a really lovely visit."
Sogno d'Epoca 1822 ★★★★
"Clean and beautiful room Street side Slight noise Breakfast atmosphere ( owners office and breakfast room together, too much work chatting to have a peaceful start ) Basic amenities, no water or glass in the room ."
Palazzo Giuditta ★★★★
"I felt very good staying here. The view was also good. However, I felt bad that I had to move my luggage to the 3rd floor. I also felt that the cost of the stay was a bit high."
Terracielo Guest House ★★★
"Excellent find right next to Basillica - main cathedral so everything is easy walking distance and the end nearer to way to train so really easy to get there (not all through old town streets). In Centro storico with cobbled streets yet quiet at night so slept really well. Gas hairdryer, coffee pods and air con / heating and fridge and en-suite so all good 👍 will return for sure. Thank you 😃"
Albergo Diffuso Monopoli ★★★★
"If you want to walk to all Monopoli has to offer this is a great hotel. The breakfast was wonderfu,, the room while up stairs with no elevator was two or three layers and a complete apartment with balconies. The staff was hospitable but like so many smaller hotels, you need to provide them with an arrival time since staff is not full time. All amenities were top drawer and spotlessly clean, everything worked. Recommended, the location in Old Towns, where you walk to everything, is so very important--even though our car was parked (free) at a marina 1500m away."
B&B Anter ★★★
"More than a B&B, I'd describe it as a "loft apartment." Comfortable spaces, excellent location just steps from the historic center and the train station. The mini-bar was empty, not even a bottle of water, two snacks for breakfast (hoping the other guests would leave them), uncomfortable bath towels, beds hastily made, and a bathroom with a clogged toilet cistern and unpleasant odors. You can't improvise with certain structures; they need to be maintained and furnished in a clean and tidy manner. I don't recommend it."

Masseria Il Melograno
"Totally overrated. The hotel has just over 40 rooms but is anything but luxurious and some of the rooms are very loud. It is not clear why SLH accepts such hotels. Many cyclists only stay for one night. Absolutely not a hotel to stay in. The service is sometimes rude. The food is a joke. I have never eaten so badly in Apulia. The hotel has seen its best days and there are certainly better hostels. We were there for 5 days and we can clearly say: A no go and never again."
Porto Giardino - Cdshotels
"We used this hotel as a base to tour around Puglia. It was lovely, well designed with lots of amenities, with its own beach area. Some of the British group we travelled with were rude and looking to criticise whatever they could find. This hotel was not the one we were supposed to use so people complained, but l enjoyed the stay. There were lots of oleander and trees around the site and our rooms were in separate chalets in the grounds. The table we were alloted was next to huge windows so it was very glarey if you arrived late and all the other seats were taken. The food was fine, with a good buffet range and included lite wine or beer with meals. The staff worked hard as there were several groups using the facilities at the same time. The spa was super, the pool were huge and well managed with a range of entertainments and options we didn't have the time to try out. During our visit two people in our group fell . One breaking both wrists and another on the dining room floor. Both accidents were dealt with by the hotel staff and ambulances were used. It might be useful to stress to visitors that the site covers a big area, and there are various steps and level changes, but this is true of many places. We had a super time , have used other CDS hotels and will continue to do so. Thankyou for a pleasant stay."
Torre Cintola Greenblu Sea Emotions
"Hotel booked and fully paid for on Trip but surprise: when you arrive you must pay mandatory additional costs, in addition to the tourist tax, for a total of €29/day corresponding to “services” (package including card to access the room, cleaning of it, towels for the swimming pool…) therefore an additional addition of 203€ to be paid upon arrival on the 1490€ for two, breakfast only, already paid. You are not allowed to go into the swimming pool without a swimming cap. The breakfast is not great. No small convenience stores around. You have to go to Monopoli for this (it's best to rent a car for the week anyway so you can visit the area). As much as some members of the staff are very friendly, others barely respond to you.. (breakfast room) Overall, we experienced much better for less money. Positive point of the hotel: the rooms are correct. A big thank you to Trips.com for their follow-up during our stay and their professionalism because the costs to be paid in addition to the price already paid are not mentioned anywhere when you book on the internet regardless of the site."
La Peschiera
"Hard to believe how this is still a 5 hotel star and prt of SLH. We have witnessed the decay of this property and their service quality over the years. We used to be regular guests coming twice a year for the last 5 years but at this point this has hit its lowest. Other than the view and breakfast by the water this is not 5 stars hotel nor they make an effort to make you feel your 1500-1800 euro per night is worth it. In this opportunity upon arrival we were denied the option to have dinner at the hotel any night (basically the only reason why we still come here for) due to events that had been booked. They blamed it on us saying we should have reserved (when a pre check e mail does not indicate that) and when its hard to believe that a hotel can simply deny guests and not accommodate options for dinner and prioritize outside reservations. After begging we were offered a really late table and seating for one of the worst dinning experiences ever. A dinner for 4 people costed nearly 1000 euro, awful service, rushed, lack of attention from all staff, grumpy waiters denied the option to remove any fish from their existing menu to accomodate my husbands allergies. We again had to beg for a simple risotto or pasta after being told no, more than twice by waiter and chef. Completely overpriced food, 60 euro for a pasta wirh a tiny bit of lobster. The fresh fish cart to choose from no longer exists. Last day we had to beg for our room to be cleaned at 6:30 pm. Staff is impersonal, unhelpful and manager Francesco is slippery and has the same bad attitude when asked to accommodate any needs. Rooms ran down, facilities old and dirty in some places as well. Your money will be better spent at any of the other hotels nearby.Stay away from this one…"
Hotel Don Ferrante
"Looking forward to come back in summer"
Masseria Ramasian
"We absolutely loved our stay at Masseria Ramasian! The property is beautiful, updated, spacious, and impeccably clean.. The pictures online were incredibly accurate, which isn’t always the case with hotels, and the property was even more beautiful in person. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and spending a relaxing afternoon by the pool was the perfect way to unwind. The staff was pleasant, welcoming, and always helpful. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we truly didn’t want to leave. We would stay here over and over again and would highly recommend Masseria Ramasian to anyone visiting Puglia!"
Masseria Soluco
"We spent 5 nights at Masseria Soluco and it was truly restful and relaxing. Ivan was the kindest and friendliest of hosts, attentive yet unobtrusive. Water, melon, beer and even bowls of pasta would appear as we relaxed by the pool. Our room was beautiful and we had access to a shared dining and kitchen area which was so well equipped. The setting is so quiet and peaceful and we loved the cats who came to greet us at breakfast. Huge range of lovely places to visit within 30-40 mins drive. Would recommend the food walking tour in Bari as a great way to spend an evening. Thank you to Ivan and all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended. 😁"
Masseria Torrepietra
"Pleasant stay"
Agriturismo Antonelli Piangevino
"We loved our stay here. Wonderfully relaxing, excellent accommodation, everything needed for a great holiday experience."
Masseria Santa Teresa
"Very badly managed and organized place. After having my spa reservation postponed three times, I received a call ten minutes before my arrival to say that the boiler wasn't working due to the rain. With this they tried again to postpone the spa but this last time I reacted badly also because by now I had made the trip and paid for the overnight stay with Monopoli, luckily in another structure. When I pointed out the inconvenience they caused me, they didn't even bother to offer something to apologize and told me that customers with the voucher are not treated like regular customers. Rather than go there I'll burn the voucher"
