"This place is simply amazing! It was the best room I took on my trip to Italy this November (we visited a total of 16 cities and stayed at amazing hotels, but no room like this one). The room was very beautiful and giant, comfy and cozy. The bathroom is super modern and big, comfortable as well. The girls at reception are incredible. They did everything to make our stay wonderful. I made a mistake in the reservation because I had to do it at the last minute before the trip, and they handled it perfectly. They helped us solve the problem with *********** and gave us the best tips during the trip. They had a guy helping us take the luggage from and to the car that could be parked at a parking lot out of the city center for free. One of their tips was to go to the restaurant Il Guazzeto where I had the best fish I could ever try in my life. Outstanding trip and service! Thank you!"

"Nice hotel near Bari Monopoli Polignano etc and easy drive to Ostuni Matera etc. A bit tired and lacking polish for the price. We had 3 different room types between 3 couples, pool view, sunset and sunrise suites. Definitely the sunrise/sunset suites the better option. The pool area is good and with only 13 rooms you feel like you have it to yourself. The restaurant a bit lacking in choice and lunch options expensive like €25 for a club sandwich. I drove to their partner hotel once to use the fitness area and found staff rude and only cardio equipment. Some rooms have very small showers difficult to even turn around. Breakfast was great out on your balcony. Overall I thought overpriced for the area and our next stop Canne Bianche a MUCH better option - cheaper and much better hotel in a similar area - see separate review if interested."

"Tenuta Monacelle is a stunning venue in a perfect location—close to the sea, Fasano, and Bari—making it an ideal base for exploring Puglia. I highly recommend renting a car to fully enjoy the region at your own pace. The venue itself is breathtaking, with a beautiful setting that captures the charm of the area. The restaurant is excellent, and I suggest embracing the full Italian dining experience by enjoying a starter, primo, secondo, and dessert—it’s well worth it! Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, which is a great way to start the day. However, the only downside is the use of plastic cups for juice and milk. It doesn’t align with the high standards of the location, and I hope they consider replacing them. Overall, Tenuta Monacelle is a fantastic place to stay, and I will definitely be coming back!"

"Absolutely lovely accommodation in Monopoli. The room was very spacious and beautifully appointed with real attention paid to maintaining the character of the building; huge, high stone ceilings and lovely alcoves ingeniously turned into hanging space. Breakfast on the upstairs patio was very nice (English tea!) both hosts were helpful, friendly and very welcoming. All in all just wonderful and highly recommended. Monopoli is really worth a visit; the old town is great for just wandering + loads of great bars and shops. We had a really lovely visit."
