Saltwater Villas - Pet Friendly Accommodation
"⭐ Very disappointing — would not recommend Do not stay at these villas. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere near the standard we expected for the price we paid. The noise was a major issue. You can hear every car travelling along the road, which made it very difficult to relax or sleep. The curtains are also extremely poor quality and do not block out the morning light, so the room was already bright at around 6am. When we arrived, there was not even any toilet paper provided. When I called to request some, I was told someone would have to drive to the villa to deliver it, meaning we had to wait for a basic necessity that should have been provided before our arrival. What made the situation even worse was the way I was treated when I expressed my frustration. Rather than showing understanding or apologising, the woman I spoke to was rude towards me because I was upset. I believe guests should be treated respectfully, especially when they have paid a significant amount for their accommodation. We paid a price comparable to staying at the Mantra, but the service, facilities and overall experience were well below that standard. For the price, I expected much better. Based on our experience, I would not recommend these villas and would choose to stay elsewhere next time."

"Beautiful 3 bedder/ 3 ensuites to suit the 3 couples who shared. Close to the Main Street ( 2 min walk). Pool area was lovely and had partial views of the ocean. The place was very clean and had all the necessaries needed to enjoy a relaxed stay. Staff very accomodating and serviced the room while we were there for 8 nights. Free secure parking was a plus. Would stay here again."

"Family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with large courtyard/balcony that had a bbq and jacuzzi (not hot) overlooking the ocean. The apartment was modern and spacious with a Hamptons/beach theme. Lots of amenities included. Hand wash, shampoo, lotion etc was provided and toilet paper/tissues to start you off. Wi-fi wasn’t very good, so recommend that you bring your own. Lots of dinner options on the street from level 1 and a variety of shops. It was difficult to find a decent coffee and the food prices are much higher than most places. There is a Coles close by where you can grab all your supplies. We have been staying in Mooloolaba for years now and this apartment is definitely one of our favourites."

"I've never wrote a bad review before but this was a terrible experience. Booked a 1 bedroom superior apartment with a rooftop spa in advance. On arrival, I was assigned a completely different room with no rooftop access. No communication about this from management. Note, the only reason I chose this hotel was for the private spa and rooftop BBQ area. They answered my phone call straight away when enquiring about key access (there's no reception) and again about parking (parking allocation was incorrect). Then failed to answer after entering the room to discover it wasn't the room I booked. Followed up with an email to give them a chance to rectify the issue. No response. Poor management not taking responsibility. When booking accomodation, I expect it to be what it says it is. Never had this problem until now. Disappointing stay. "

The Unit was nicely decorated with quality fittings and there was not shortage of kitchen utensils, cups, glasses etc. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the bedding was quality. We would certainly recommend Unit 8 at Excellsior"
