"We stayed at Eliassen Rorbuer and chose the oceanfront superior cottage. The location of the resort is beautiful, peaceful, and well-situated. It’s easy to see why it was featured by Lonely Planet. That said, the oceanfront balcony area is also accessible to everyone, not just guests staying in the oceanfront units. So if you are cost-conscious, I would actually recommend choosing the non-oceanfront rooms, as you still get to enjoy the same views and access. The stay itself was comfortable and relaxing. The resort is eco-friendly, so do note that they do not provide amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, or slippers. They also do not provide cleaning / housekeeping services during your stay. The overall environment is natural, quiet, and lovely. Breakfast is too simple given the rate. Overall, it’s a beautiful and peaceful place. You can easily catch the aurora at the resort."

"Rooms are clean, breakfast is good, there is lift to access to rooms so you odnt have to carry luggages up tostairs which is good. Hotel is locked after 10pm so you may need the back door for northern light hunting"

"The place is at the tip of lofoten. The cottage is very cozy, fully equiped with necessity. There is a balcony that comes with very nice view. Walking distance to explore nearby and short drive to Reine. The reception operate at limited hour, recommend to come within their operation hour as the cottages are scattered around, better to have explaination from reception."

"The environment is great, and the front desk looks very stylish and modern. The room facilities are all good. However, the loft design for 6 people is a bit hazardous; going up and down requires some caution. Other than that, everything else is pretty good."
