The environment was serene and beautifully kept, making it easy to relax and feel at peace throughout our stay.
The hospitality was outstanding. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and easygoing, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming.
A special highlight was the food, organic, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared using ingredients grown by the owners themselves. It had such a unique, wholesome taste that you simply can’t find outside. We would absolutely come back just for the meals alone.
The location is also very convenient, with two major attractions nearby and just a short walk away to大地指纹, yet the space itself remains quiet and tranquil.
Overall, a truly memorable stay. My only regret is not staying longer. Highly recommended!!!

GGuest UserHighly recommended. When choosing a accommodation, cleanliness and comfort are the most important factors.
In terms of cleanliness, it was very clean; the countertops, floors, sheets, and bedspreads were all well-maintained. As for comfort, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered scenic views, the room layout was modern and cozy, and each room had a private hot spring. The hotel's exterior was also beautiful.
Furthermore, it's conveniently located, only about a 15-minute walk from the scenic area entrance. The owner was very welcoming, providing free shuttle service within the Bifengxia Scenic Area and helping with tour planning—I barely had to make any plans, as the owner arranged everything for me.
The guesthouse also had many flowers, and the owner's mother cooked delicious meals, which I packed to take with me when I set off on my tour in the morning.
Between guesthouses and hotels, well-run guesthouses tend to have more personal touches and are more interesting. In short, it's a place that gets more comfortable the longer you stay; warm and inviting, highly recommended.

GGuest UserThis is a trip that comes and goes, and it is also a trip of surprise. I originally thought I would come to Ya'an during the upcoming Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, taste Ya'an fish, and take in the scenery. However, this store was so popular that it was no longer possible to book a room, so the family decided to advance the trip temporarily. After arriving, I discovered that this store is popular for a reason. The location is really comfortable, close to the mountains and facing the water. The windows are facing the lake. It is very comfortable when the sky is clear. The food is also delicious, especially the yak beef hot pot and short crispy pork. The former is very fresh and the latter is very fragrant, especially the paste on the crispy pork, which can feel like air bubbles. Another surprise is that after arriving at the store, the store upgraded the room type. The family said that they would bring the children back for a second visit later.

The villa we booked is actually part of a 3 storey building.
From the pictures, it appears our booking has only 1 bathtub. In reality, there is a bath tub in a huge wash room, a living area, a tea drinking area in EACH of the 3 rooms in our villa. And there is a further living area, a kitchen, a washing machine and even an outdoor sauna outside the 3 rooms for communal gathering.
Tea Master Lee was very patient in bringing us to pick tea leaves each of the 2 days we were there. He taught us how to process yellow tea one day (which requires fermentation) and green tea on the second day. We could bring back the green tea on the spot, but as the yellow tea requires time, he would mail it to us. Tea Master Lee just won a competition when we went and we totally appreciated his expertise as well as his sharing of knowledge. He was very approachable and well versed in his art.
One note, we were really in the countryside and transport is not readily available such that we had to walk back one night in the dark to the hotel with cars zooming by us as we had a late dinner in the nearby town. And again, as we were in the countryside, places close early and we almost couldn't find a place for dinner as we ended our day late after hiking Mount Mengding. Distances are pretty great between places and didi is not widely used.
The kitchen staff and our housekeeping staff were totally warm and friendly. It might be good to provide washing detergent since washing machines are provided.

GGuest UserThe boss and his family are very nice. The room is clean and tidy. The location is very good. It's right next to the panda base and very close to the Grand Canyon. It's a 5-minute walk. The conditions are like ordinary B&Bs, but the price is still affordable. The key is that it's very clean and in the mountains. It’s okay! The proprietress said that they have more than 20 years of experience in cooking Chinese food. The price is affordable and the taste is great! The boss couple were very enthusiastic and took us to the zoo. The small courtyard at the entrance was very beautiful with flowers and plants. I liked it very much. All in all, it was a very pleasant trip. I will stay with them next time.

TThayuta.peteI planned a solo trip to Ya’an, but I can’t speak any Chinese. After arriving at my accommodation, I called for a ride to the tourist destination I wanted to visit. However, I found out that there were only rides to the destination, with no way to get back to the hotel. At that moment, I decided to go back to the hotel and asked the counter staff if there were any other places I could visit. What I received in return exceeded my expectations—they planned my entire 2-day itinerary in Ya’an for me, which made me very impressed. Next time, if I have the chance to visit Ya’an again, I will definitely stay at this place.💛🩷🐟

1118986****We chose this guesthouse inside the scenic area so we could get an early start for the wildlife park the next day. It's only a 5-minute walk from the visitor center! To be honest, traveling during a major holiday, my expectations weren't that high. But when we arrived, we were met with a warm welcome from the owner and a clean room. Even though it was raining outside, it felt warm and cozy inside! Plus, during check-in, the owner kindly gave my child a panda doll, which made them very happy. And when I accidentally left my phone at the front desk, the owner promptly brought it to my room – I was truly touched by all these gestures!
Regarding the food, since we didn't want the hassle, we asked the owner to arrange dinner directly. The free-range chicken hotpot was excellent; my child had three bowls of soup! For two adults and one child, we couldn't even finish the set meal, which shows how generous the owner is! Breakfast at the guesthouse was decent, with congee, steamed buns, milk, eggs, noodles, and wontons – plenty of choices!
All in all, we were quite satisfied with this trip! I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely return if I need accommodation in the area again!

GGuest UserWe had the most wonderful time at Yehouxi Homestay! The location is beautiful and the rooms and clean and comfortable.
Even though we did not speak Mandarin our hosts made us feel welcome and to teach us about local tea and the local environment. She took us on a walk around the area and helped us to collect leaves and flowers which we then used for a leaf pressing activity.
Our host even picked us up from the station and dropped us back which made the stay very easy with our limited language skills. We highly recommend this homestay!
The food from the restaurant was warm, tasty and nourishing.

GGuest UserThe room is beautiful. The pictures don't lie and one of the most beautiful bathrooms we had during our trip in China. The room watches the hills and the tea garden. Although it was Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel was very quiet. The receptionist was amazingly helpfull. The restaurant was closed (or there is none, I'm not sure) and we cycled all the way up the mountain to get to the hotel so we didn't want to leave the hotel anymore after a long day cycling. The receptionist suggested she could get us food by taxi in the city and helped us order at her favourite restaurant. The food was amazing and we were very thankful we could enjoy our nice food in the hotel. Also the breakfast was really nice. It is a buffet.

GGuest UserOverall, the best room on this street is good, the decoration and style are good, the fly in the ointment is that the cleaning aunt is more careful. The room forgot to put the face towels and bath towels, the corners of the toilet and the room were cleaned a little, the glass type was bright and clean. Clean near the washbasin. It’s perfect. Generally speaking, it’s much better than other homes on the street. I have lived in other homes too.
