YyeewangThe room was very spacious, with a well-designed layout and fully smart controls – you can literally just speak to manage everything. The cleanliness was impeccable, both in the room and the breakfast area. The guesthouse is less than 1 km from the Huangguoshu Second Service Area, which has a large selection of restaurants. If it's not too sunny, you can easily walk there, and the cool breeze makes for a pleasant stroll. If you don't feel like venturing far, the guesthouse is located right above the 'Bund,' where you'll find plenty of dining options.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good.
The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok.
The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties.
Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

TTinayiHighly recommended! This hotel offers exceptional value for money. The owner, a former designer, clearly put a lot of thought into every aspect of the hotel's design. The bedding and smart features are on par with what you'd find in a chain hotel. It's also very close to Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, and the owner even provides a business car for transfers, which was a huge plus!

GGuest UserIf you're planning a trip to Huangguoshu Waterfall, this is the place to stay! You get two coffee vouchers, the environment is beautiful, and you absolutely must try a bath – it's so comfortable. The bathtub is huge, and they even provide two kinds of pretty colored bath salts. If your feet are tired, they also offer foot soaking tubs. All the rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows and a small courtyard, which I absolutely loved. If you're not in a rush, I'd recommend staying an extra two days to explore the hotel's amenities. The breakfast was amazing and can be delivered to your room. A special shoutout to the delicious sandwiches!

GGuest UserThis hotel is incredibly close to the Huangguoshu Tourist Center No. 1, and they offer a free shuttle service to the scenic area, which is a huge convenience. It's perfect for families who want to take their time exploring Huangguoshu, as you don't have to worry about early mornings or late returns!
The hotel's own stir-fried dishes are also delicious, and the staff are all well-trained. The front desk is quick to address any guest needs.
The rooms are also very spacious, and the laundry room on the top floor has a drying area. This is a lifesaver, as clothes can easily get wet at the waterfall scenic area, and you can sweat a lot. The excellent facilities truly put my mind at ease! Highly recommended!

The environment is fantastic: lush lawns, dense forests, adorable animals, and individual wooden houses… The service is also excellent: our class reunion team-building event had over thirty people, and the manager and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, from setting up the buffet to arranging the bonfire party. They even created a special service group for us, always ready to assist us. In short, it was a very meaningful team-building event that ended perfectly. Many thanks to the entire guesthouse staff for their hard work and to the owner for the generous discounts!

GGuest UserHere's the bottom line: it's worth staying here. During the summer vacation, the best price for a twin room was 600+ RMB, which is a bit inflated, but understandable for peak season.
Pros:
1. The hotel is on Tunbao Road, not far from the first, second, and third visitor centers of Huangguoshu Scenic Area. Plus, the hotel has a seven-seater shuttle van for pick-ups and drop-offs. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to Balinghe Bridge.
2. The room is spacious enough, the shower pressure is excellent, the lighting in the room is bright, and there's a balcony with a fold-down wall-mounted drying rack, which is very convenient for doing laundry.
3. The service is warm and friendly. We took a direct bus from Anshun West Station to the first visitor center, and after contacting the hotel in advance, they specially arranged a car to pick us up. Throughout our stay, transfers were prompt; just call the front desk. The shuttle driver drove smoothly and communication was great.
4. It's clean and hygienic. The hotel facilities aren't brand new, but they are well-maintained overall.
5. Opposite the hotel is a wetland park. During peak season, there are bonfire parties and performances every night, which are worth checking out. If you walk further into the wetland park, there's a sluice gate with a nice view.
Cons:
1. The room lighting relies entirely on a white remote control. At first, I didn't realize this and thought there was no power in the room, until I asked the front desk.
2. The TV remote control has poor contact; you have to press down on the battery to make it work. Also, if the screen turns blue, you need to restart the power button on the white set-top box (the one without an antenna).
3. The breakfast is very average. The egg fried rice and porridge are okay, but the Chinese restaurant's food is mediocre and not cheap, so I don't recommend it.
In summary, if you're traveling with your whole family, including seniors and kids, this hotel is a top choice. Alternatively, Kaiyuan is also good and not far away, or for a bit more money, you could stay directly in the scenic area at Qian*Ju. All three core areas of Huangguoshu are worth visiting and can be split over two days. Remember to book tickets for Shuilian Cave 15 days in advance.

GGuest UserExcellent value for money! I spent quite a while choosing a hotel in the area and settled on this one, and it exceeded my expectations – I'm very satisfied!
Facilities: The washer-dryer combo is incredibly practical. A large shower! Disposable towels! Good quality slippers! And a large projector screen with a membership for movies!
Hygiene: Very clean!
Environment: Lots of food options nearby, so no need to rush to the Second Tourist Center for meals.
Service: The owner dropped us off at the First Tourist Center, which made getting to attractions and back to Anshun West very convenient. The hotel also stored our luggage for free. After a long day of sightseeing, I was exhausted and didn't want to go back to the hotel, so I contacted the owner, who enthusiastically helped us deliver our stored luggage to the First Tourist Center (it was the off-season, and I was charming!). In summary, it exceeded my expectations, and I'm extremely satisfied!

YYouyoulvtuhl119This hotel boasts an excellent location, less than a 5-minute walk from the No. 3 sightseeing bus stop, which is the closest stop to the scenic area. The hotel facilities are very new, and the management style resembles that of a large chain hotel. Room service is handled by robots. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable and spacious. The hotel has its own underground parking lot, making it very convenient for those traveling by car. There's a food street right across from the hotel, so dining is super easy. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Huangguoshu. On our first day, we entered the park around 3 PM, avoiding the peak crowds. We visited the Great Waterfall, Doupotang, and even got a bird's-eye view, and there weren't many people around. On the second day, we woke up early and took the sightseeing bus to Tianxingqiao around 6:40 AM. It was very uncrowded, and there was no congestion at all. We had finished our visit and returned to the hotel by 9:30 AM. This off-peak travel strategy was fantastic. Huangguoshu Waterfall is definitely worth a visit; it's truly magnificent. The hotel's excellent location also contributed greatly to our experience.

The bathroom was spotless with a separate shower and toilet, the toiletries had a pleasant, light fragrance, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices, including local specialty rice noodles. The value for money was outstanding, and I've already recommended it to my friends. The receptionist, Xiao Chen, provided excellent service—attentive and patient. Thumbs up!
