"A very cost-effective hotel, the main body is quiet and not noisy, the bedding is skin-friendly and comfortable, and the overall hygiene is in place. The whole hotel looks very atmospheric."

"The young lady at the front desk was so charming and friendly, which immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. She was very helpful and answered all my questions. The hotel is conveniently located close to the scenic area's secondary ticket office, just a short drive away. If you need a ride to the scenic area, just let the front desk know in advance, and a young man will drive you in a commercial van. The rooms are all quite nice (the photos show an upgraded room type). Food delivery is also available. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it has all the essentials. The hotel itself is quite new and they even provide disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers. If I had to mention any downsides, they would be: 1. Could you please open the windows in unoccupied rooms? When I checked in, the windows were all closed, and it felt a bit stuffy. 2. Aside from the front desk staff, it would be nice if other employees could at least offer a smile when they encounter guests. (On the day I checked in, I saw an older lady, whom I'm guessing might be the owner's mom? Maybe not, but she looked quite stern, haha.)"

"At the beginning of the month, my travel companion, “Peking Duck” (my child), and I explored four small cities in Guizhou – Guiyang, Anshun, Bijie, and Xingyi. We thoroughly experienced the karst landscapes, caves, waterfalls, and pastoral scenery, all in a comfortably cool climate. Here's a comprehensive guide to share with everyone! ⭕️ Guizhou Geological Museum (reservations required, closed on Mondays, last admission at 4 PM): You can book a guided tour with fossil restoration activities, which is very interesting. ⭕️ Qingyun Market: A great place to eat and explore (definitely try Guiyang's Sour Soup Hotpot – the flavor is unique compared to other regions). ⭕️ Yelang Valley (watch Nuo opera, two shows daily: 12:00-12:30 PM and 3:00-3:30 PM. Kids who enjoy crafts can try plant carving). ⭕️ I personally don't recommend Zhijin Cave for families with young children or the elderly! However, Zhijin Grand Canyon is highly recommended. Enter via the elevator, and the entire route is a downhill walk, making it very lazy-friendly. The scenic beauty is truly impressive and worth a visit! ⭕️ Guizhou Guanling National Fossil Group Geological Park (the fossil digging area is open, but the museum area will open in late July). ⭕️ Huangguoshu Waterfall (‼️ Water Curtain Cave requires reservations and raincoats are a must!). For a lazy-friendly approach: take the round-trip elevator and capture a panoramic shot from above. If you're not up for a lot of walking, you can skip Tianxing Bridge; seeing the main waterfall is breathtaking enough! And a shout-out to the park staff – every restroom is spotless, some even have toilet seat covers! ⭕️ Fenglin Buyi (consider going in the evening when the lights are on – the scenery is even more beautiful. You can experience Buyi culture, songs and dances, iron flower performances, and other unique shows. There are many fun NPC mini-games in the scenic area. Watching the iron flower show from a boat offers a more direct and spectacular view). ⭕️ Kids will absolutely love a full day at Wanfenglin! Fishing, mini-train rides, woodworking, tie-dyeing, fruit picking, making Ciba (sticky rice cakes), and so much more – they'll never want to leave! When they get tired, relaxing at a popular cafe is pure bliss! ⭕️ Maling River Canyon (known as 'the most beautiful scar on Earth.' The scenic area closes at 5:30 PM. For an aerial view, navigate to 'Maling River Canyon Parking Lot 2'). Tips: ‼️ Guizhou attractions can be physically demanding. If you're traveling with children and have limited stamina, opt for lazy-friendly routes. ‼️ Mornings and evenings are cool, but it can be quite sunny during other times, so bring plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent. ‼️ Some attractions require advance reservations, so plan your itinerary accordingly! ‼️ Bring raincoats for Maling River and Huangguoshu, and wear non-slip shoes. ‼️ For Zhijin Cave, avoid wearing long pants or white shoes as it can get muddy! The cave temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, so bring a jacket. Among the hotels we stayed at, 'Peking Duck' loved the Huangguoshu Kaiyuan Manju Hotel the most. It offers many parent-child activities, new facilities, and delicious dining! We enjoyed a cool summer with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius throughout our trip, without any high-intensity rushing. We experienced city life, majestic gorges and waterfalls, underground marvels, pastoral peak forests, and ethnic minority customs all at once. The best classroom is always on the road; what you see with your own eyes is far more memorable than what you read in books. It’s time to get out there with the kids!"

"Wuhan's high temperature days are so hot that people can't stand the temporary want to escape the stove city. They all say that Guizhou is cool and take the baby to Huangguoshu to play, and do a play guide on the Internet. The accommodation style reviews on the tourist season are varied, and I accidentally brushed the picture price of the homestay. I simply read it and booked it. I didn’t have too high expectations. When I arrived at the door of the hotel, I was directly poked by a surprise. The boss and his wife warmly received us. The homestay is 600 meters away from the third ticket center of Huangguoshu. It is very convenient to sleep at night. Very quiet. The details of the homestay are not lost to the hotel chain. The pillows are soft and hard. Choose the bedside USB+Type-C dual charging port, the room is very clean and tidy, quite a few niche just need to borrow it at the front desk for free, and the things that are not complete are not panic. The boss is quite familiar with the local play guide. The boss recommends us how to play according to our needs. Where to eat? I didn’t step on the pit when I played the whole process. I sent me to the station when I left. It is strongly recommended to live here in Huangguoshu."

"Traveling solo to Huangguoshu, and I had a really comfortable stay. When I travel alone, my main requirements for accommodation are cleanliness, safety, and convenience. Boying completely met all these expectations. 🌿 Environment: The hotel is located in the south district of Boyuan Road, which is very lively. Downstairs, there's a food street, making it easy to grab a meal even when dining alone. It's not far from the scenic area, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze. 🛋️ Facilities: Opened in 2025, all the facilities are clearly brand new. The rooms are 25-35 square meters, more than enough space for one person. The mattress is just right – not too soft, not too hard – ensuring a great night's sleep. They have smart toilets, free WiFi, and all the essential amenities you'd expect. 💁 Service: The front desk staff were very professional and handled my check-in quickly. They proactively asked if I needed shuttle service and even helped me plan my sightseeing route for the next day. When checking out, I could store my luggage, which was very convenient for picking up after my explorations. 🧹 Hygiene: I have to commend them on this. The room was spotless, the bathroom had no strange odors, and the towels were clean. It made me feel completely at ease staying there alone. If you're traveling solo to Huangguoshu, this place is definitely worth considering."

"My main purpose for staying here was to visit Huangguoshu Temple. My requirements for a clean, tidy, and conveniently located hotel were top-notch. However, the hotel exceeded my expectations. It's newly opened, so the cleanliness and facilities are excellent. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable, though a bit small. The Huangguoshu Ticket Center is about a 2-3 km drive away, which is a reasonable distance. There's also a parking lot nearby for easy parking."
