I used it for one night on a solo trip. I booked the morning of the day and went to stay. After arriving here, I noticed that there was no public bath in the hotel. I went down from the top to the bottom of the stairs and entered the large communal bath of the affiliated hotel Tamaki. It was a little hard. The room was smaller than I thought.

Not only the hotel, but the entire Ikaho service staff are mainly Japanese seniors. There is a built-in izakaya inside the hotel. There may be few people when I go there. Only my friend and I had dinner that night. I thought it was closed. When we saw we were about to eat, everyone opened the door for the two of us and managed it. The grandfather of the izakaya was very, very enthusiastic. Obviously we only ordered two bowls of ramen😂 They just sent two glasses of orange juice, two bowls of rice, and the sauce they made. They said they were delicious and must be tried. Taste it. Finally, when we left, we gave us two more glasses of wine for us to take back to our room and drink slowly 😂 The hotel also has a bathing area, and there are really very few people, which is equivalent to booking a place with my friends. The correct name of the hotel is Matsumoto Tower. The service of a family-run Japanese-style hotel must be impeccable. Each room has a dedicated receptionist. We are not good at Japanese, so we arranged an Indian waiter who understands some English (it seems Family-run Japanese-style hotels are gradually becoming international). The tatami room arranged for us is super large. There are two main halls and three toilets of 70 or 80 square meters. There is no problem for eight people; one night and two meals are exquisite. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine, breakfast is Japanese buffet; there are open-air natural hot springs (iron brown hot springs) on the 8th and 2nd floors of the roof. The bubbles before and after meals are very comfortable. The hotel has a free bus to Ikaho Hot Spring Ishidan Street (Matsumoto The lady enthusiastically recommended us to ride, and his English is good); in short, a very good experience.

The location is very good, opposite the Zhengyi Xiangbao Hot Spring Shi Section Street, opposite the convenience store, there is a parking lot, but only a few places. The room is clean and there is an elevator. But there are not often staff in the lobby, it takes a lot of time to wait for check in, which is slightly inconvenient.

The golden hot water of Ikaho Onsen hot spring is warm and satisfied with 3 times. It was good to climb the 365 steps and take a leisurely walk to the source. In the morning, I went to buy a freshly made hot spring manju and felt happy to play with animals on the green ranch.

I extended my stay by two days because I found it so comfortable. The hotel's breakfast and dinner were slightly different each day to avoid repetition. The hot springs were also very relaxing.
