The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. There are many types of restaurants nearby, as well as a bookstore, supermarket, and a fish market. The front desk staff are polite. The room is spacious, and the mattress is comfortable. The lobby environment is quiet.

Perfect location right in the city center. Walking distance to train, bus station and stops plus major tourist sights. Lots of restaurants within minutes of walking. Breakfast was decent, a plus when eating out is so expensive in Norway. Our room located in the front of the building can be a bit noisy during the weekend, having double glazed windows help. Friendly and helpful staff too. Highly recommend.

I booked this hotel about two months ago. Since I had consecutive nights but only needed breakfast on some days, I made separate reservations for each. It was very convenient for me, being close to the ferry terminal from Flåm, a supermarket, and Bryggen. The website stated check-in was at 4 PM, but I was able to check in a little after 3 PM. However, the person at the front desk during check-in seemed annoyed. When I asked about my luggage that I had dropped off earlier, they asked, 'Which room was it stored in?' Since I had only been assigned one room, I responded by asking, 'Which rooms are available?' They then unhappily directed me. There were about 5-6 people waiting to check in, and only two staff members were handling it. It's a shame, especially since the person who stored my luggage before check-in and the person who helped me with an inquiry after check-in were both perfectly professional. My room number had four digits, and it felt like it was in a separate annex, accessible via a staircase. Although there was a wheelchair lift, it felt more like a different hotel entirely. While it was technically a courtyard view, from my window, it was essentially a parking lot view at the same height, meaning I couldn't keep the curtains open. I really hope everyone else gets a room with a three-digit number. The breakfast, though, was excellent. There was a wide variety of breads and vegetables, gluten-free options, and even a live omelet station. It was definitely worth adding breakfast to my stay. I haven't factored the breakfast quality into my overall rating.

Overall, a perfect experience! This is by far one of the best hostels I've stayed at in all of Europe. It's located on a hill, with its own little private area, complete with tables and lounge chairs outside where you can enjoy panoramic city views at night. Free breakfast is served in the mornings. While it's a typical 'Western breakfast,' it's quite characteristic of Nordic cuisine, and you can still take in the morning city panorama. The common areas are huge, and the kitchen's floor-to-ceiling windows look stunning when the afternoon sun hits them. I read some reviews saying towels and bed sheets cost extra, but when I stayed, the front desk said they were included. Maybe the policy changed? If I had to pick a downside, it would be that it's not right in the city center. However, public transport is convenient; you can take bus 12 from the city center all the way to the last stop, Montana, which is a direct route. For around 300 SEK, what more could you ask for in the Nordics? Highly recommended!

It's right next to the airport, very convenient, and the breakfast is good. We booked a family room with one double bed and one sofa bed. The room wasn't small, and transportation to the city center was convenient. Overall, we were satisfied.

This is a very distinctive hotel, I highly recommend everyone to stay. The hotel reception is only one meter wide and is at the far left of the restaurant counter. The hotel building is old, so it is adapted to local conditions, and the room types of each room are different. The main colors in the room are black and purple, quiet and elegant. The room is clean and tidy, and all the service staff I have contacted are very good and help us solve various problems. I booked a no breakfast on Ctrip, and the front desk gave us a free breakfast. The breakfast provided is quite satisfactory, which is considered good among the hotels here in Norway. I came to Bergen with my children to take an interview exam for further study. I worked remotely in the room for two days, and I felt that the room was a bit dark and the lighting was not enough. This is the only small regret I feel. I will choose this hotel again if I come to Bergen for pure fun in the future.
