"The room was very spacious. Melissa, the manager (in my heart), offered me some delicious black tea, and she was incredibly warm and welcoming. The two ladies at the front desk were also very kind. When I arrived, a taxi driver ripped me off, and they listened to my complaints, helping to ease my frustration. I am very satisfied with the entire Marriott group; I don't regret choosing such a trustworthy hotel. Friendly reminder: You can call the hotel in advance to book a shuttle, which will be much cheaper than a taxi. Also, the staff here are very enthusiastic, so feel free to chat with them when they're not busy."

We truly enjoyed this different style of accommodation and would definitely recommend trying the cave rooms at least once. However, if you personally feel uncomfortable in places with limited ventilation or tend to feel overwhelmed without fresh air, choosing a standard room might be a better option for you. Overall, we were very satisfied and happy with our stay."

Because I didn’t go see doctor and didn’t have medical proofs, my request of cancelling is rejected. "I have a wonderful experience at Sah Saray. The staff members were very nice and helpful. They offered to help book local tours and would even help follow up tours even if you do not book via them. Room is nice and clean, a combination of modern and ancient time. I am satisfied with the air conditioning and ventilation. Service was superb snd efficient too. I gave them a call and room service arrived in like a minute. Breakfast time is 8 am to 10am and they offered 3 options. Can sit outdoor if you mind the sun. A box of Halvah was given to us upon departure. Sugar and oil free. A token of joy and togetherness. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends."

Another huge plus is its convenience; it's very close to town, just a short walk to go shopping and grab food and drinks. It's also really close to the hot air balloon launch site. The hotel even helped us book the hot air balloon, and it was cheaper than booking outside, with fantastic service! Highly recommend!"

It might appear to be just a building from outside but it has exclusive cave rooms with personal pool and sauna. The staff at the reception & at the restaurant, welcoming. The breakfast had live local bread preparation and a decent spread. We also enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant In the evening. The staff has a beautiful way to say good bye by throwing water behind You, indicative of wishing you well for future journey. "But how can you give a point by complaining about the bathroom? It's wonderful and you can recreate the calidarium of a hammam. Luckily sometimes we go beyond some comments. Authentic hotel, from breakfast, to the furnishings, to the bathroom. Even the lights have been designed to perfection to create a beautiful atmosphere. The view is on the weak side but I would recommend it especially as an area because Uchisar is not very touristy and you can reach Uchisar castle and pigeon valley on foot. Breakfast surprised us because it wasn't a buffet but everything was definitely of excellent quality... perfect Turkish breakfast!"

"The hotel is located near the starting point of the Red Tour. It offers great views and is great for hiking. Although it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the street with restaurants, it isn't a problem if you walk quickly. Perhaps because there are viewpoints nearby, people walk around even at night, so the location didn't feel particularly dangerous. The staff were friendly, and I was so grateful that they allowed me to check in 3 hours early even though I arrived early. The water filter color didn't change either. It's a clean hotel! However, there is no elevator."

"Located in Nevşehir, 10 km from Uçhisar Castle, Pome Granate Cave Hotel features a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Zelve Open Air Museum is 20 km away, Nikolos Monastery and Ürgüp Museum are 22 km away. Hotel manager Mr. Ersan will provide you with a route map for restaurants and historical places you can visit in the region, and I know that he is a restaurant expert. The restaurants he recommended were very decent and nice. Mr. Emirhan and Mehmet are two very kind receptionists. They always welcome you with a smile and are very sincere to help you. Ms. Rabia and Gülten's breakfast is also very nice. You can be sure that you will enjoy your mornings in a different way. My wife and I stayed in the windowless room. We enjoyed it very much. Living in a cave and staying in a windowless room was a great lesson. I hope it happens for you too. At first, I wondered where I had come from, but it became a living space that I enjoyed very much. You can be sure that this place will create a family warmth. I recommend you come by car. This area is close to everywhere, you can easily go anywhere in 25 minutes. Finally, as a visitor to this beautiful family that I enjoyed so much, I would like to say goodbye until we see you again."
Cappadocia Pegasos Cave Suite Hotel
"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and it's already made its way to be one of our favourite stays ever. The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable, and looked stunning. The owners appear to be friendly, and the receptionist (whose name has unfortunately escaped me!) was extremely welcoming and offered us tea, coffee, etc. when we first arrived. He also accommodated us for a late check out and placed us in a different (and newly cleaned) room for the few hours between regular/late check out as our room needed to be made ready for the next customers. A different receptionist offered us drinks as we were sat waiting a couple of hours after checking out due to having a late night flight. One of the keychains on our room key also broke slightly, and the receptionist was very kind in letting us know it was nothing to worry about. He also let us keep our baggage in the reception room while we went out exploring the city after checking out. We requested room service each day, and the room was sparkling clean every time. Everything functioned as it should, and plenty of sockets are available. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and we only regret we couldn't finish all the food plates. The view is also lovely from the terrace. One minor thing though is I requested juice with my breakfast instead of coffee/tea on my last day and was offered either freshly made or bottled orange juice, but only later found out that these were actually an extra charge, which we weren't made aware of when asking for it. I think it's something that should be disclosed at the beginning so as not to be surprised with extra costs in the end! I was able to contact the hotel via WhatsApp to arrange us a private transfer from the airport. Took some back and forth as there was some confusion re. the necessary details, but we got there in the end and just paid on arrival. I'd recommend making sure you have plenty of cash on hand as they don't accept card, and two of the ATMs that were close to the hotel (including the one we usually used) weren't actually working properly the first day we were there. The driver kindly dropped us off at a larger bank ATM before driving us to the hotel. The hotel can also book tours, safaris, horse riding, any activities, etc. from their end, but it seems that no receipt is given and the prices aren't concrete. For example, I inquired about the horse riding via WhatsApp before checking in and was initially told that sunset rides were for €40 per person. When we came to make the reservation the next day, we were told it's €45 per person - we also didn't get a confirmation email or receipt of the booking; everything was done by the receptionist. I genuinely didn't mind, but the uncertainty around the prices doesn't give one peace of mind that they're not being ripped off (especially if you're a foreigner). So, it's definitely worth keeping an eye out on the prices and I'd recommend looking up these activities on your own before requesting the hotel make a reservation, as they're often cheaper to do online from your end or just so you're aware of how much you should be paying as the hotel staff themselves don't seem to be too sure - worth noting if you're on a budget. We also found several cheaper hotel/airport transfers later on when we knew where to look for them/inquired with different providers. Nonetheless, a really great stay for us overall. Just little things to bear in mind as with any hotel. Will definitely book again if I find myself in the area."
