Lan Yue Bie Yuan is located on the hillside of the Zhaoxing Dong Village. The 180° unobstructed view embraces the entire panorama of the Dong Village. The drum towers are scattered, and the bamboo stilts are layered. Everywhere one looks is the native aesthetics of the Dong Village’s cultural architecture. The entire viewing room frames the scenery of the mountains and valleys within the window frames. In the morning, one can watch the thin mist creeping over the village head. At dusk, one can admire the crimson light spreading across the green tiles. At night, accompanied by the starry sky, one can listen to the sounds of life in the Dong Village.
The entire home’s smart home system unlocks comfortable living experiences. Leven hair dryers, smart toilets, and bathrooms with separate dry and wet areas are paired with fully automatic drying washing machines. Thoughtful care is embedded in the details. The minibar offers delightful surprises at any time, allowing you to enjoy the sophistication of urban life even amidst nature’s beauty.
The main items on the breakfast menu feature locally sourced rice noodles, fresh beef, simmered in rich broth over low heat, accompanied by grain-based steamed buns, corn, sweet potatoes, and milk. This combination ensures both flavor and nutritional value.
The Lian-Yue Pavilion, hidden halfway up the mountain in the Zhaoxing Dong Village, offers not only a 180° panoramic view but also a private surprise – a dong-style courtyard on the rooftop, where you can “remove the roof tiles.” Walking on the gray tiles, beneath you are the staggered footbridges and the ornate eaves of the Gu Lou bell tower. Everywhere you look, you are surrounded by the beauty of the Dong Village’s cultural architecture.
"I highly recommend the guesthouse I stayed at in the Dong village. Located in the heart of the ancient village, it's not directly facing the commercial street, but it's very convenient for getting around. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, and the stay was very comfortable.
The hotel's concierge service was impeccable. From the moment I got off the high-speed train, I didn't have to worry about anything. They picked me up and dropped me off, and even brought my luggage to my room – incredibly attentive!
The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. All the facilities were brand new, and everything from the bedding to the disposable items was of five-star standard. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into it. I decided to stay an extra night after my initial check-in; the value for money was excellent, exceeding my expectations!
This trip coincided with the village's Grain Rain Festival, which was very lively. Both the accommodation and the trip itself were a happy and enjoyable experience!"
