"We were only arrived here at 22:30 but the owner was so friendly to wait for us. Very warm and friendly welcome. This is a very charaster hotel with many decoration making it a very domestic hotel. Small minpoint for people with allergies .. there is tape in the rooms but very clean. Breakfast was very wide and enough offer. They even had so much about as they asked if we wouldn't take breakfast :-)."

"Best baked perch ever! Our last dinner in Germany was the best meal in Germany—lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned baked perch with seasoned roasted potatoes and a delicious salad; it was at the restaurant in our Bnb in Schmidt: the Roeb Hotel; I highly recommend it. I’ve never had better baked fish. The breakfasts are fresh and simple and the coffee is great. The Bnb was simple and clean and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is no air conditioning. It is conveniently located near lovely villages of Monschau and Aachen as well as the nideggen medieval castle. Relaxed, chill place that I can happily recommend."

"The hotel sits in the town of Schmidt which is very pleasant and quiet. The staff were pleasant , friendly and helpful. The availability of an evening meal was a pleasant surprise and was very good. The breakfast served in the morning was also good with a great selection to choose from. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed, a small balcony and a lovely walk in shower."
