"We visited as a family for a short skiing break. The hotel is super clean, and the dining is spectacular. We didn’t go to any other restaurants during our stay: the food is great, staff is attentive and kind, what else does one need on vacation. Where Simon and Franziska came through was when my wife had a knee injury while skiing. They went above and beyond, calling the pharmacy on Sunday to have them open for emergency supplies for us, ensured we had plenty of ice, and even offered to drive us to the pharmacy or to the local doctor if we can’t make it there by ourselves (we traveled without a car rental). They said we could call them any time during the night if there’s an emergency (we didn’t take them up on this generous offer). In short, Simon and Franziska showed genuine care for our well-being. If we are ever in this part of the world again, wouldn’t stay anywhere else."

The toilets and showers are located on the same floor, and the room itself, well, let's just say it's a throwback to the 70s. However, the breakfast and the food are definitely four-star quality. The kitchen, by the way, is very modernly equipped. And you have to keep in mind, we're in Switzerland, so the price for the overnight stay is quite moderate, which certainly makes up for the aging facilities."

"Our stay at the Parkhotel Du Sauvage was excellent. We received a warm welcome. The room was tidy, and it was cleaned frequently throughout our stay. There were many choices at breakfast. Thankfully, we were able to get our coffee from a fully automatic coffee machine (many hotels usually serve instant or filter coffee). The bread and croissants were always fresh. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I don't understand why we paid so little for such great service; in my opinion, it could have been better. We highly recommend it!"
