"Exit the East Exit of Ofuna Station, and McDonald's is across the street. Turn in and you will see the hotel sign about 100 meters away. Turn right and go in.
The room is not big, but clean. There are two self-service machines for check-in and check-out, which is very convenient.
There is a drugstore on the left opposite the East Exit of Ofuna Station. The second floor is for cosmetics. It feels cheaper than in Tokyo. For example, lipsticks that are out of stock at Canmake are all available here. I regret buying too little."
"5-min walk from the station. 10 min from the castle and 15 min from the beach. Located at a quiet street and faced to the old historical like buildings which was the food plaza. Supermarkets and restaurants around. The hotel seemed quite new with 3 elevators. Room was not big but clean and had a good view of the castle. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. I stayed there for 4 nights. Some dishes were changed everyday. I even found 鱆魚燒 one day. Very surprised! It was definitely a cozy stay. I would surely stay here next time."
"Booked this place in a mild panic after realizing my Hakone hotel was 20km too far and all public transport had turned into pumpkins. As emergency landings go, this one wasn’t bad — certainly more convenient (and probably less ruinous) than playing taxi roulette that late at night.
The hotel is exactly what you’d expect if “business trip” were a room. Functional, clean, nothing you’d write home about unless your home loves minimalist efficiency. About the same size as my Tokyo hotel — enough space to breathe, not enough to twirl dramatically.
Reception had an actual person (a refreshing plot twist), though check-in came with a small side quest involving payment déjà vu. All fine in the end, just mildly confusing.
Overall, a perfectly decent 4/5. It’s not trying to charm you — it’s trying to keep you from sleeping at the station. And in that, it absolutely delivers."
"The hotel is incredibly convenient, located directly within the Odawara Station complex, although it can be a little tricky to find for first-timers. From Odawara Station's East Exit (stay within the station building), take a short escalator down. You'll spot the Lusca mall on your right. Upon entering, Marugame Udon is on your left, and Seijo Ishii supermarket is directly opposite. Walk past Marugame, turn left to exit the mall, then turn right onto a glass-enclosed walkway outside. Continue straight, passing a parking lot on your right. Keep going until you see the hotel's directional sign (like the one in the last photo). Take the escalator up to the 4th floor, where you'll find the hotel lobby.
We stayed in a Double B room, which was relatively spacious and well-suited for a family of three. This particular room type, which we only saw listed on Ctrip, was excellent. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation but no bathtub. However, the public bath on the 10th floor was very comfortable (remember to bring your own towel!). There's also a foot bath on the 14th floor offering scenic views. If daily cleaning is desired, simply place the 'clean my room' sign outside your door, and fresh towels and yukata will be provided. Even if you forget the sign, they thoughtfully leave fresh yukata and towels at your door – a really nice touch. I appreciated this considerate service that respected our privacy. The bedding was comfortable, and individually packaged facial cleanser, makeup remover, and body lotion were replenished daily.
Odawara is a wonderful city, and this hotel's location makes it extremely convenient for visiting Hakone, Atami, and Kamakura. I would love to visit again and would definitely choose this hotel for my next stay. The only minor downsides were the slight train noise (though I still slept very well during my three-night stay) and the slightly stiff toothbrush provided."
"The most satisfying and comfortable hotel in Japan, high cost performance
The room is spacious, very clean, and the facilities are convenient and considerate
It is very close to Odawara Station, within a ten-minute walk, and the surrounding dining and shopping are convenient. It is also very quiet. There are streets and open spaces next to it. Odawara Castle is close at hand, and the view is wide
The service is warm and patient. Although it is not a 24-hour front desk, the check-in explanation is detailed and clear, and all operations are simple. Check-in and travel are very convenient
I will choose to stay next time if I have the opportunity to pass by"
"Location a bit tricky to get to n quite pour of the way.
However the setting of the environment n the view was spectacular. The air was fresh. The Onsen bath were well designed n well maintained.
Just that the me meal offering times were limited"
"The hostel is located on the second floor of an apartment building. The room is very new and overall very comfortable and very clean with a cozy lobby. Compared to other youth hostels I stayed in, there were particularly many Western tourists carrying large hiking bags.
Since the business district of Odawara City is concentrated around the station, there are few restaurants and supermarkets near the hostel, and there are no washers and dryers provided. It takes you approximately 8 minutes to walk to the laundry and the centered area of the city. But overall it is still very comfortable, and it is recommended for solo travelers!
