Sol Miranda Hotel ★★★

📍 Av. Ventiderio 226, Ollantaytambo

"The breakfast selection is plentiful, with a variety of fruits available, and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Luggage storage is available, making it convenient for travelers. It's also close to popular attractions and markets, which is very convenient."

Hostal El Viajero en Ollantaytambo

Hostal El Viajero en Ollantaytambo ★★

📍 A una cuadra antes de la Plaza Principal, Calle Principal SN, Ollantaytambo

"I stayed in a single room (with private bathroom) while traveling alone. The staff were all very kind and always greeted me with a smile. The location is excellent, about a 3-minute walk from the plaza, making it convenient for sightseeing. I was traveling while working online, and the Wi-Fi was stable, allowing me to conduct Zoom meetings without any problems. I was also grateful that they lent me a hairdryer. Furthermore, they kindly stored my large backpack for four days during my stay in Machu Picchu (10 soles), which was a great help. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff, I was able to stay with peace of mind. I would definitely like to stay here again when I revisit Ollantaytambo!"

Kantu Inn - Tourist Lodging

Kantu Inn - Tourist Lodging ★★★

📍 Urb. Pillcohuasi. KusiKoyllor Street, Lot G-4, Ollantaytambo

"The town is small, so it doesn't really matter where you stay. It's very quiet and clean, and the staff are friendly, polite, and responsive. The only downside is that the room doesn't have a hairdryer. Breakfast includes freshly made eggs and stir-fried vegetables, as well as freshly squeezed juice. If you pay in US dollars, it's even a little cheaper than the price listed on Ctrip."

Andenes Del Inca
9.1 (66 reviews)

Andenes Del Inca ★★★

📍 CALLE ARRAYANNIYOC S/N, Ollantaytambo

"The young man at the front desk was very helpful; he ran down to help us with our luggage up the big steps. He even upgraded our room so we didn't have to climb the stairs anymore. He was also very helpful in introducing us to restaurants, the surrounding area, and tourist attractions."

Las Portadas

Las Portadas ★★

📍 Calle Principal s/n, Ollantaytambo

"It was the worst experience I have had with a hotel, the lady that serves no hello is a ugly and prepotent, after so ugly ugly, I finally could cancel the reservation and got another better place, I recommend you jump ON THE MALL EXPERIMENT of reaching this hotel, there are many better hotels around. "

📍 Callejon Santa Rosa, Ollantaytambo

"Very nice accommodation, in a quiet area, but very close to everything. The price is affordable. The room has everything you need, even good hot water pressure. Breakfast is included; it's very basic, but better with it than without."

Cocatambo
8.7 (10 reviews)

Cocatambo ★★

📍 Cocatambo Hotel Pillcohuasi, Ollantaytambo

"Due to an Inca Rail accident, I had to make a last-minute same-day reservation and stay there. The location was about a 10-minute walk from the train station, tucked away in a back alley. However, the room was clean and the hot water was excellent. I had to leave early to catch my train, but they were very kind and prepared breakfast early for me. Thank you."

Sol Natura Hotel
8.8 (25 reviews)

Sol Natura Hotel ★★★

📍 Av. Ferrocarril 633, Ollantaytambo

"I had a wonderful experience at Sol Natura Hotel. Stayed here for 5 days. The hotel is located in a beautiful and convenient area, close to the train station, the main plaza, and the archaeological sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist me with anything I needed. The best experience was a (paid) private tour with the owner through the various places in the sacred valley. It was the best guided tour I had in years. The owner is a former teacher and knows way more about the region, history and country than any of the tour guides I've met. Plus, with him there was no rushing through... The room was clean, comfortable, and with a nice view of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with fresh fruits, breads, eggs, and local specialties. The hotel also has a beautiful garden with many plants and flowers, where I enjoyed relaxing and reading after a hiking tour. According to the owner the garden has more than 100 types of plants and flowers, including orchids, roses, lilies and many more which also attracts hummingbirds. In short it’s a hidden oasis. I’d highly recommend staying here a few days instead of Cusco or Aguas Calientes (if you want to visit Machu Picchu). It’s a perfect starting point to explore Ollantaytambo and the Sacred Valley. "

"Great hotel-- clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly. Owner was very helpful at each stage of the process. Our room was spacious and met our needs well, as a family of four with two teen girls. They each had their own bed. Breakfast was delicious and served in a pretty rooftop room. I don't think a lot of the photos online for the views from this hotel do it justice -- the live view greatly exceeded my expectations. The mountains are beautiful, and one gets a glimpse of Peruvian life from the surrounding neighbors. A+ highly recommend!"

Sol Ollantay Boutique Hotel Hotels in Ollantaytambo

Sol Ollantay Boutique Hotel

"The hotel is on the main street of the town, it is very nice and well-maintained. Good hot water with excellent pressure. We had a room with a view of the river. The disadvantages are: during our stay there was a renovation, and noisy work was carried out from morning until evening, it was tiring and inappropriate. On the first day, breakfast was announced from 8.00 to 9.00, which is quite strange for a hotel. We came at 8.00, because we had to leave at 8.30, and we were told that a hot breakfast would be ready only by 8.30. We could not wait, and we were given a dry ration, which is of course nice, but quite strange. On the second day, breakfast was from 7.00 to 9.00, it was plentiful and delicious. It feels like the hotel itself is cool, but it has problems with management."

"4 I stayed for a night. Breakfast on the roof terrace is the best. The host always cared about any inconvenience and actually arranged a taxi for sightseeing at the right price. It is also great as a base to Machu Picchu as it is within walking distance to the Peru Rail station."

Sol Natura Hotel ★★★
"This hotel is probably the best choice for accommodation when checking out the Sacred Valley and The Machu Picchu. Its location is excellent - it sits between the main square and the train station for Machu Picchu, each is about 5-7 min walk in opposite directions. It was very convenient and safe. My room was overlooking a beautiful garden with mountains in the background. It was clean, quiet, with a clean comfortable bed, had heat and hot water and everything I needed for my stay. The lobby area had a nice tea/coffee area with always-hot water in the dispenser. Breakfast was the most varied in all my travels in Peru. I stayed there for 4 nights and still don't think I tried everything they had to offer. From hot food prepared by a lovely lady in the kitchen to fresh fruit, nuts, avocado, jams and cereals. All with non-ending stream of hot tea and fresh squeezed juices. Separate thanks to an awesome manager that runs the hotel. Very smart, professional, creative, worldly, and welcoming host. Even a gifted piano player! I especially appreciated him sharing his view on life in Peru in general. He makes guests' stays truly special. Thanks so much! "

"Excellent location in Ollanataytembo. About a 5 minute walk from the main plaza and 15 minutes from the train station. The route to the hotel is along a narrow, stone, bumpy path so taxis or colectivos will drop you at the main plaza and you will have to walk the rest of the way. Check in and out was straightforward and the hosts were lovely people. Breakfast was basic but the orange juice and fruit were fresh and tasty! Room itself was very warm with a veranda looking towards the mountains. Bed very comfortable with extra blankets. Bathroom was a bit small but the shower was good after a long day of hiking. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!"
