"I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's a perfectly functional and convenient hotel with all the necessary amenities. The lobby has self-service check-in and check-out machines, and there's 24-hour front desk service, which was very polite and thoughtful. The lobby is quite spacious, with self-service drink and coffee machines, a microwave, and a small pantry area. There are also many desks and power outlets. The room was spotlessly clean. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a kettle, and the internet speed in the room was excellent – perfect for watching videos on your phone. The hotel is large with many rooms, so I'm not sure if all rooms have equally good signal. Right next to the hotel, in an adjacent building, there are two supermarkets with a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, and daily necessities, plus a pharmacy. The tram stop for Tram 10 is right outside the supermarket. This tram runs between Zurich Airport and Zurich Central Station, making it incredibly convenient to get to the city center or the airport without transfers. What's more, the tram stops are level with the ground, which is great for passengers using wheelchairs or pushing strollers. From the airport, take this tram and get off at the Glattpark stop; the journey only takes about 8-9 minutes. This tram runs almost all day, so early morning or late-night flights are no problem. The ticket price is also reasonable. Plus, the hotel's price offers much better value and conditions compared to renting a similarly priced room in the city. Breakfast was decent."
"Excellent place to stay to explore Zurich. Train station is only few minutes walk and there is short ride to Zurich HB. Hote also provides day passes for public transportation which is really nice and convenient. There is also shuttle to airport, but its not free. We are happy we choosed stay there and we will likely stay again in the future"
"The contactless check-in worked perfectly; the code to unlock the main entrance, elevator, and room door arrived via email. Everything was well-marked and very intuitive.
The room's bathroom could have been cleaner. Additionally, the glass door, while not transparent, doesn't close completely, so any sound can be heard throughout the entire room, which isn't pleasant for anyone. As an alternative, there is at least a bathroom on the upper floor.
The sauna and steam room, although accessible, couldn't be used because the room was under renovation and completely covered in dust.
The shared kitchen, bar, and breakfast buffet were quite good, and the staff there were very friendly and helpful.
The common areas are very open, the room is well soundproofed, and the blinds automatically lower when the sun starts to shine.
Regarding kitchen utensils and appliances, they are more than sufficient for two people. However, for cooking, it's better to use the shared kitchen on the upper floor as there is more space there for both cooking and eating afterward.
The location is excellent for shopping, using public transport, and it's practically 5 minutes from the airport.
The gardens on both sides are very well maintained and completely in bloom at this time of year."
"We had a pleasant stay at Amanthos Living Zurich Airport. Despite its proximity to the airport, we weren't bothered by any planes flying overhead at night. The location was ideal for us because we have family living nearby.
Upon arrival, we hadn't received any check-in information beforehand, but the 24/7 service desk was easily accessible by phone and helped us quickly. Access to the apartment is entirely via an app on your phone. It's convenient, but you do need to have your phone with you at all times, otherwise you won't be able to enter the apartment.
The apartment itself was clean, modern, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The only thing we missed was a kettle for making tea.
All in all, a comfortable stay and definitely a good base near Zurich Airport."
"The hotel room is spacious and quiet even thought the hotel closed to airport. We could hear the plane passed by if we open the window. But we heard nothing if we closed the window. Good sound proof. Friendly and helpful staff. The distance between the hotel and the nearest tram station is abt 5mins walk.
The hotel has airport transfer service with CHF 6 per person."
"We had an overall pleasant stay at Novotel Zurich Airport Messe. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made the stay enjoyable. During our first check-in, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. However, on the second check-in, the experience was less friendly. The rooms were not ready, and we simply wanted to ask if we could leave our suitcase, but the interaction did not feel as warm or helpful. Aside from that, the hotel itself was good, and the room quality was excellent."
"I've stayed here before. It's a quick 10-minute bus ride from the airport, just 3 or 4 stops. It's also very close to the train station, less than a 10-minute walk. There are 2-3 supermarkets nearby, and right next to the hotel is a Turkish restaurant with good food, if you like Turkish cuisine.
This time, the front desk staff were very kind and friendly. Note that the city tax must be paid by card; they don't accept cash.
When I opened the room door, the bed was tall and narrow, and with the red and white color scheme, it looked exactly like something out of a European TV show or movie, which actually made me a bit scared to sleep. The room was small, and the layout was impractical. My knee hit the metal edge of the sink when I was getting out of the bathtub, scraping off a layer of skin. The toilet was also awkwardly placed.
The hotel's Wi-Fi was terrible; it would connect and immediately disconnect, then I couldn't connect again at all.
The mini-bar drinks were all complimentary, which was a nice touch.
Although it's next to the airport, the noise wasn't too bad; by the time it got noisy, I was already out. There's another hotel near the airport that's my first choice, it's excellent in all aspects, but it was fully booked. So this was my second choice, and it's fine for a transit stay."
"The location is fantastic! Right outside the hotel, there's a bus stop, making travel to the airport and city center quick and convenient. It's a small, safe, and great value option, perfect for short stays, especially for long-distance travelers. I'll definitely be back next time!"
"Booked this hotel for the location & the transit selection, Kloten Balsberg Train station & Bahnhof Balsberg Tram station just minutes away. Hotel also provide Free shuttle bus to airport, very convenient to travel in & out of city, remember to get ZVV zone 3 day pass, Zurich day ticket doesn't cover the trip to this hotel!!
Hotel room is good, management did their best to keep this 1st of its kind for Mövenpick brand hotel alive & up-to-date. But there are some down sides! Some rooms might experience bad Wifi connection, washroom need some upgrades, like the bathtub shower, less cloth hangers, Wear and tear aged furniture, overall it is the hotel will get you well rest!! Didn't try it's breakfast, maybe next time.
Tried to book through Accor, but it's price was higher than third party companies, it is very weird!"
