"We came here for a meal one evening. They have been extremely welcoming and really helpful. Sergio (I hope I have spelt that correctly, sorry if I haven't) has been brilliant all evening very accommodating, has answered every question we have had. The other waiters have also been brilliant and accommodating. Will definitely come back here again. The food was really good. Loved my monk fish. I am not very good with fish bones and they removed them for me."

"Stayed for 7-nights and used as a base to explore the region. Hotel is lovely with great staff who really look after you. There is a swimming pool, beautiful grounds and a Michelin starred restaurant onsite. The breakfasts are really good with options including continental, and freshly cooked to order eggs of your choice. The rooms are comfy with a great shower and products. The hotel is a restored mansion and is very nice with care taken to retain the original features of the building. The lady who does the breakfast is lovely and takes time to chat with guests, she prepared an early breakfast for my wife and I due to very early departure which was most appreciated."

"We spent 9 nights at this lovely little hotel in September 2025. We have stayed a few times before and will return again next summer. The rooms are lovely, large and spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with a modern bathroom with powerful shower,the air conditioning is perfect and the rooms are quiet with really good double glazing to keep the rooms peaceful. The large balcony is lovely to sit out on. The beds are comfortable and large. The restaurant is truly outstanding, popular with non guests as it has been for years. The courtyard garden is absolutely lovely for a shady retreat from the sun and at night comes alive with candlelight, it's a beautiful place for an evening drink or supper. The staff are friendly and professional, relaxed and unhurried even when busy. This hotel will not disappoint, really good value for money , it's a lovely place with the best breakfast buffet in Palamós, we are already looking forward to next summer."

"Where to start? You will read very nice comments on Booking, Google or Tripadvisor. Make no mistake, they were bought. To compensate for my criticism, a few with the maximum score are needed in order to maintain the average score on these various platforms. Both the frequency of these glowing comments (remember that the hotel only has 14 rooms...) and the language in which they are written (almost always in Spanish) are clues that do not lie about their lack of authenticity. I booked from their website to benefit from a more attractive rate, which prevents me from sharing my opinion on Booking. However, I want to express myself elsewhere, so that you do not think of booking in this establishment. I usually choose hotels using the average score on Booking, which I thought was reliable. You will not be surprised that the entire price is taken as a deposit at the time of booking. The hotel is dilapidated. The facilities are in a terrible state: both the swimming pool (with peeling paint and a dangerous terrace) and the garden (full of dog droppings, I paid the price). The rooms are very old, damp, but above all very, very dirty. The parquet floor is full of cracks that are real nests of dirt, the floor is full of hair, the armchairs (covered with white sheets) are rotten. The bathroom is shabby: the shower is full of scale, the toilets are of questionable cleanliness and the mixer taps are green with limescale. There are no joints anywhere. The sink is an industrial ceramic basin held to the wall by rusty brackets. You think you are booking a "large suite" but in reality you have a large damp cellar (the mold on the paintings is proof of this) and dirty. Do not sleep on your back, the ceiling will give way to your eyes: small stones fall from it one by one. Breakfast is tasteless: don't touch it! The freshness of the products leaves something to be desired and the bread is disgusting. Move on..."

"A basic slightly dated hotel that really delivers on service and quality of food. We stayed here only one night but were really impressed by the helpfulness and friendly hotel staff, and the dinner and breakfast we were served. It’s a 3* hotel but the service and food is 5*. The rooms are clean, a good size and the beds very comfy. There is a pool but we didn’t have time to use it. Very good value choice which we would highly recommend."

"Difficult to wax too lyrical as, on the one hand the whole experience was perfect in every way - the setting - at the top of a valley overlooking vineyards, with Palamos in the distance and the sea beyond - the food and wine, all of which are grown/produced on site - ecologically. Even their own olive oil and honey. The chef is a genius and produces meals with exquisite care and the flavours are of an era long before preservatives and chemicals ruined our appreciation of what real food tastes like! On the other hand they only have nine rooms and I’m concerned that too good a review will have the place sold out forever! And I intend to go back. Frequently. For peace, tranquility and gourmet food and wine it surpasses any wellness spa I’ve ever visited. At a fraction of the cost! And the staff? I have best friends whom I love less. They couldn’t do enough for us. Just a wonderful experience. Our final evening meal - billed as tapas - ( main meal is Lunch) - was wild boar stew, served with their own fig preserve as an accompaniment. If I never eat anything again…..I’ll have ended on the perfect meal. Thank you, Team Bel Lloc!"
