GGuest UserI live in this city and sometimes it would be nice to have a night with my boyfriend without interruptions and some privacy, so we booked a hotel. The room was clean, the location can't get any better. However, the pictures of the room online were extremely deceptive. Our king size room really was just a king size bed, there wasn't room for anything else like the jacuzzi tub or a nice sized bathroom like on the website. At check-in when the front desk gentleman noticed I was from that city, I explained that my house was too busy and I just wanted a night to myself, some privacy for once. Apparently that is code for this game he played called 1001 questions and then he gave me a room right beside the front desk.
Hotel was fine, no complaints. The staff however might want to rethink his path in life. Maybe he should persue becoming a private investigator.
GGuest UserThe check in was good; the agent was professional and friendly. The hotel is tired - needs a very deep clean and refurbishing in the common areas, elevators and rooms. It has windows in the rooms that open which was great! The restaurant was unexpectedly closed which was disappointing. Breakfast was pretty much all carbs and protein - would have been great to see some fruit. Lots of food. A decent stay for the price I paid and its proximity to the hospital which was where I needed to go.
GGuest UserWe chose this hotel at random while driving down the highway. We were VERY glad that we did. The following day, we kept congratulating ourselves on the great choice.
It was very easy easy to get to off the highway. But yet it was protected from the busy highway noise.
The staff were absolutely 5-Star. Every single individual that we encountered, both hotel and restaurant, seemed to be genuinely friendly and professional. Specail shout-out to: Jei, Jasmeen, and Maltin. ( hopefully i got the correct names)
We used the pool in the evening, and it was a surprisingly nice facility for the price of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed it until an excessively noisy family showed up with undisciplined kids. But that's not on the hotel.
I don't know why the restaurant was empty because it was exceptionally good food and good service. Even the breakfast buffet was far above most free breakfasts that are on offer.
The guestrooms were very quiet (even the a/c fan was quiet). Beds were comfortable. Good quality linens, pillows and towels. Beds were especially comfortable and seemed new. Carpet looked new.
The only thing I might suggest for the rooms is that they might add a floor lamp to improve the lighting. Also, they might think about bringing up the quality of bathroom amenities to current trend in higher quality in larger affixed bottles instead of small disposables
It's obvious that they're gradually upgrading an older property and haven't gotten to the hallway paint yet. But that doesn't affect the guestrooms experience.
I highly recommend this property.
SSukiNice, friendly & helpful staff.
Not much choice for breakfast.
The booking email stated that the jacuzzi & pool were closed for maintenance so we didn’t bring swimsuits, but when we arrived they were both open which was frustrating.
Key cards take several attempts to work & one door didn’t work at all so always had to walk around to the outside door.
AAMissGreat hotel. Grabbed the cheapest room possible for my sister to come along with the hubby and I but wanted our own privacy. Got her the single queen bed room. It was REALLY nice. The value for money was exceptional and the breakfast was fantastic!
