Daocheng County Hotels with Parking

First, let me mention the hygiene – it was truly excellent. They provided disposable towels, and the toothbrushes were of very good quality. There were three of us staying, and the owner even provided three pairs of slippers. Upstairs, there was a ******* clothing experience; the owner's sister even helped braid our hair and explained ******* culture to us. Since we were students without a car, the owner picked us up and took us to the guesthouse. When we wanted to go to town for food, the owner also offered to drive us there. The next day, we were going to Daocheng Yading, and the owner wanted to take us to the scenic area entrance, but since our tour leader had already picked us up, he declined. The whole family was very welcoming (including Little Golden Retriever Potato). You could tell the owner's brother and sister were dedicated to running the guesthouse.

If you ever need a place to calm your excitement, or a spot to let your happiness linger a little longer before heading to Daocheng Yading airport, Sanmao is the place for you. It’s the perfect way to say goodbye to the vastness of Western Sichuan after a challenging hike. It is cozy, aesthetic, clean, and spacious enough for your body to finally relax. It is best if you arrive on a sunny day. You can sit under the tree with the sunlight dancing, music playing, and the two birds nearby - one trying to sing you a song, the other chirping a 'nihao' to welcome you. In that moment, you will feel your heart at peace. If you ever need anything, the owner is always there to support you in a heartbeat (They speak English fluently!). If Western Sichuan is a dream, Sanmao is the perfect ending to a memory you will hold dear for a lifetime.

The B&B is right next to the scenic spot. It is very convenient to get to the ticket gate in 10 minutes. The proprietress is very welcoming and provides free raincoats and hiking poles. The room facilities are 🉑️ and hygienic and clean. There is a free parking lot at the door of the room, and it is very convenient to eat. It is a very cost-effective B&B.

Personally, I think the CP value is very high 😬, you can see the beautiful scenery, and the bed is super comfortable. As long as you don’t care about bathing, you will really feel grateful to live here 😬. At night, because there is not much light pollution, you can see the Big Dipper from the window of the room. The next day, there are buses distributed at 7:30 in the scenic area, so you can go early to buy battery tickets. If you have no weight problem, you can also buy horse racing tickets, which is very convenient. Climbing to Five Color Lake may have exceeded the physical limit. My husband developed hyperresponsiveness and checked out one day early. The boss may have thought that we were not satisfied with the accommodation, so he quickly came to the room to see us. He learned that it was because we were feeling uncomfortable, and he enthusiastically helped us. We contacted the passenger bus down the mountain and helped us carry our luggage. If we have another chance to go there next time, we will still choose this hotel. A little further down the road from this hotel is a store. If you need hiking poles, you can buy them here, as well as gloves and snacks. Overall, it's a good experience.

The location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street. Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops. The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet. The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird. He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。 Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture. The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny. I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading. Value for money. Exceptional hospitality. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This was my second stayed after moved out from Yading Village. They greeting me with big smile. The couples also very helpful in getting me the transportation into the national park as well as to the airport. I had a very pleasant stayed towards entire journey and this place is highly recommended. Sometimes is the people who makes you remember the most.

This is an exceptionally good hotel! So good that even a lazy person like me who rarely writes reviews has to give it a thumbs up. I've stayed in countless hotels all over the country, and this is truly the most comfortable and cost-effective one I've ever stayed in. The location isn't particularly hard to find, and the decor is excellent—very new and clean. The rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the blankets are soft. It's quiet in a residential area, with minimal noise at night. If the entire building were converted into a hotel, it wouldn't be inferior to many five-star hotels. There's a convenience store downstairs, making shopping very convenient. The hotel owner's service attitude is also excellent (part of this review is because of his good attitude; otherwise, I'm too lazy to bother with follow-up reviews). Finally, here are a few photos taken in Yading. In short, it's an exceptionally good hotel, and a very enjoyable trip.

The best choice for a trip to Daocheng Yading is undoubtedly the Crowne Plaza Yading Risong Gongbu Hotel. Located in the heart of Shangri-La town, its 2800-meter altitude is just right, avoiding altitude sickness while providing convenient access to the Yading scenic area entrance – a mere 15-minute drive to the sacred mountains. Upon arrival, a concierge proactively offered to help with luggage, a warm gesture spreading from the moment you stepped out of the car. Entering the double-height lobby, the ******* elements blend seamlessly with modern design. The hanging scroll depicting the three sacred mountains of Yading instantly evoked anticipation for the journey. The seated service during check-in was exceptionally attentive; staff member David offered ginger tea to dispel the chill of the journey and provided a detailed explanation of the scenic route and a guide map. The hotel's dining experience was a highlight of the trip. While the breakfast wasn't as lavish as in inland China, it was certainly excellent for the ******* region.

I was there twice, before and after visiting yading reserve. The first time was nice, the room and shower weren't the best but ok, and the lady at the reception was super helpful with all my questions. On the second time, there was a problem with the water which I only found out after I entered the shower. A small sign could have helped. Eventually I got the water for the shower but later I wanted to go for the toilet and couldn't flush since there were no water, and there was nobody at the reception to ask for help. They changed my bed and the wall near the new bed was filty, and somewhen after midnight they entered the room while I was asleep, turned the light on and started changing the covers for a new girl in the room. I'm sorry but that should have happened during daylight, not at this time, or they should have just given her one of the other vacant beds in the room.
