11370121****The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. They even provided oxygen and a thin blanket. Breakfast was plentiful, and after 7:00 a.m., it was a ten-minute walk to the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. I especially want to mention the beautiful, tall ******* woman at the front desk. From the moment we received our inquiry, she was incredibly attentive. That evening, she served us authentic and delicious yak hot pot! Evening music was performed by ******* women in the lobby, making us feel right at home. Overall, our stay in Yading was a wonderful experience, a homely feeling, and I'd definitely stay there again.

GGuest UserThis stay was great! The front desk staff was so enthusiastic, efficient at checking in, smiling throughout the whole process, and actively shared tips for playing. They also carefully wrote down the needs of the elderly who were traveling with them, which was very heartwarming. The sanitation of the guest rooms was in place, and the overall cleanliness was very comfortable. The room equipment was easy to use, and the humidifier was very considerate, which solved the problem of dryness. The transportation was very convenient, and the hotel parking lot was safe and convenient. When we went to the scenic spot, the hotel arranged a special person to take us to the visitor center, and picked us up on time in the evening. We didn't have to worry about transportation throughout the whole process, which was very worry-free. The overall stay was comfortable and safe, and it must be praised with five stars!

GGuest UserAt first, I didn't know what was needed within the scenic area and had to take a bus to get in at 4:30 that day. The hotel extended my stay by one day. Dinner was loose stewed chicken and mapo tofu. I didn't eat much because of severe altitude sickness. As a gourmet, I give the chicken soup a 90. The chicken was suitable, but the knife skills could be improved. The mapo tofu didn't use the traditional Sichuan tofu, so the taste was slightly worse, but it was completely acceptable. I had severe altitude sickness at night, and there was diffuse oxygen in the room, but I still couldn't sleep all night. It was a great irony for me, who has traveled around China and cycled the 219 road to Tibet several times. The male boss spoke good foreign languages, and the female boss was gentle and beautiful. GGuest UserThe location of the HomeStay is excellent. It is located at the end of the street of a quieter corner away from the busy street. Just a short walk you will have access to many eateries and shops. The interior decoration is uniquely furnished with ******* style design transporting us into a real local ******* family home without the need to be physically in Tibet. The Owner of the HomeStay is very friendly and helpful. He introduced us to ******* culture and explained the significance of Animals painting on the wall and how it translates into daily life. Animals consisted of Elephant, Monkey, Rabbit and Bird. He also made us their fragrance 酥油茶 suyou cha which is good to counter Altitude sickness 高反。 Cat is also a sacred animal in ******* culture. The price of the HomeStay is very reasonable with the excellent location and service. It has free laundry service, however you need to hang them dry in an outdoor clothes line. It will dry quickly as the weather is very dry/sunny. I would highly recommend this HomeStay to everyone who likes to go to Daocheng Yading. Lastly, I would like to thank the Owner and his Sister for making our stay an enjoyable one. Best wishes to Owner and his Sister with excellent business ahead.

LLaurentontherunRight in the center of Xiangelila town, 2min walk from supermarkets restaurants and even a Dicos! It's right on the road that will take you straight to the main entrance to Yading Scenic Area (about 6km, taxi 40RMB or 10RMB per person if carpooling). During check-in the nice ******* lady at reception upgraded my room at no extra cost. Place is clean above usual Chinese standards. If you want a heater is 5RMB per night, but the electric blanket was sufficient. Water is warm, but not scalding (personally I only take showers at +45 degrees, but it was enough to wash my face without discomfort). I was very happy with my stay so next morning I booked another night, rather than staying in Yading town. When I returned very late at night, and owing to my pickiness when it comes to food, the lady at the desk made me quick and delicious fried rice and wouldn't accept my money no matter how many times I offered. I would have stayed another night if I didn't have to leave next morning. Thanks for everything, I'll be back one day!

GGuest UserPersonally, I think the CP value is very high 😬, you can see the beautiful scenery, and the bed is super comfortable. As long as you don’t care about bathing, you will really feel grateful to live here 😬. At night, because there is not much light pollution, you can see the Big Dipper from the window of the room. The next day, there are buses distributed at 7:30 in the scenic area, so you can go early to buy battery tickets. If you have no weight problem, you can also buy horse racing tickets, which is very convenient. Climbing to Five Color Lake may have exceeded the physical limit. My husband developed hyperresponsiveness and checked out one day early. The boss may have thought that we were not satisfied with the accommodation, so he quickly came to the room to see us. He learned that it was because we were feeling uncomfortable, and he enthusiastically helped us. We contacted the passenger bus down the mountain and helped us carry our luggage. If we have another chance to go there next time, we will still choose this hotel. A little further down the road from this hotel is a store. If you need hiking poles, you can buy them here, as well as gloves and snacks. Overall, it's a good experience.

PPongnarin LeelaumpikulThe sign board is in Chinese only. So, it is quite difficult for foreigner like me to get to the right building. Even my local taxi driver can not. Fortunately, the owner lady and friends are sittings at the roadside waiting for customers or passerby who looks for an accommodation. The owner lady is very generous and servicible. She helps me carrying my big luggage from street to the homestay. She also show me how to use facilities in the room. She speaks only chinese but I can not. So, she suggest me to contact her via Wechat which I can use translation feature. In the morning before I am going to visit Yading Scenic Spot, she offers me an treking pole too. Nevertheless, Due to the early departure time of bus to Xianggelila, I figure out whether I move to stay in town for another day after finishing 3-day booking here. She asks me if I have nothing to do in town and decide to continue staying. She can provide a free pick-up to the bus station by her family car at 5.30 a.m. That is great. The room is small and simple but tidy. Bed is firm and comfortable. It comes with electronic blanket which helps alot because it is freezing at night. Bathroom and toilet are clean. Hot water is provided all day in night. Shower pressure is strong and easy to adjust the temperature. However, bathroom and toilet are humid and difficult to dry because of the cold weather. Wifi is strong.
