This is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

Taking advantage of the convenience of participating in a friend's wedding banquet, I went to the Lushan Scenic Area to play. The friend recommended it here. The environment is very good. The first time I came here, the waiters were very enthusiastic. I brought medicine that needed to be refrigerated. Zhou Chun Tang Mengting was very careful to help me store it in the refrigerator. I asked about the check-out time the next day to help me take it out in time. Very intimate service. I will recommend them to stay here next time with friends.

The room is large and clean, parking is convenient, and there is a small opening and closing of the curtains. It takes only 8 minutes to get to Mao Zedong's former residence from the hotel. It is very close to the farmland across the downhill road. The accommodation environment is good and quite quiet. The navigation guided us to a small road that is not easy to walk on. The boss made a video call to teach us how to get there. He was very considerate. The hotel has a large parking lot, which is very convenient. The food is generous in size and the price is very reasonable in the scenic area. It tastes great. I wish the boss a prosperous business, abundant financial resources and everything goes well. By the way, the show is also good, and the ticket price is also very good if you buy it from the boss.

The couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things. I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.
